The waitress had a terrible attitude! She never apologized for the bad fried calamari she served and then kept pressing us for last call food, last call drinks… Unfortunate because the rest of the staff was super nice and the scenery amazing! Ps we had reserved for 8:45PM and was there to celebrate an 80 year old fellow who deserved kindness and not attitude from a pompous waitress who did not care.

Incredible views. Staff seemed very inexperienced, always had to chase them down and ask multiple times for things. Food was good.

Very quiet and that was very appreciated, i love this place and very much the ambiance !!! Stylish place that reminds me roof top in Europe(London and Paris) The staff were very nice, welcoming and adorable 10/10 thank you!!! The view is amazing, one of my favorite just the menu for the food wasn't so good as not much choices :/ would love a bit more choices But so many options for drinks 10/10, love it :)

Went there yesterday 7pm. It was less occupied and very nice. Had a great meal and a great time (and a very great view). Money/Value is really awesome!

My wife have been many times - this outing was the weakest. The salad with bavette was completely drenched in salad dressing and soggy and Salmon tartar was well presented but was tasteless. Waitress was rather unattentive.

Too many bees on the terrace. Up 2 flights of stairs w toddlers and a stroller. Great view. Waiter friendly. Just not for us.

Honestly. It would have been much better if we weren’t being swarmed by bees. It was a bit distressing to say the least. I thought of leaving but I didn’t want to be rude. We were the first people there for lunch because we assumed we could have breakfast food. I couldn’t access the menu on the website? The reviews mentioned eggs Benedict so I was a bit confused. Had a burger. It was good but pricey. The view is nice.

It's my second time here with a friend for lunch. The food and service are absolutely amazing. The location offers a great view of downtown Montreal. However, it's the season of bees, so we had to eat in an environment where bees are flying all over you and your food. I would definitely come back another time, but I strongly suggest everyone to avoid coming here during the bee season.

Les serveurs sont vraiment super et tous beaux (les filles et les garçons) le dj est fort aussi. La nourriture n’est pas incroyable mais ça va. Ils sont gentils et la vie est vraiment belle.

Pleasent place, with a stunning view, really good service, overall the food is good, creatives drinks, the Calamaris was perfect and the Salmon tartare as well. Le plateau du fromage, with the price as is, could be improved with bread and harmonized with some fruits like du fraises and raisin for example. The latter came with one kind of a very hard toast. Moreover, too many spiders around the fences and walls, where everyone want to be close to see the view and take pictures. Still, I recommend the place and I would back.

Honestly I don’t know why this place has been chosen among the terraces of Montreal. Except being in the city, a standard rooftop of a hotel it doesn’t have any value. The staff are lovely, hard-working, very gentle and attentive. However, the place has no charm.

J’ai adoré l’expérience que la terrasse Place d’Armes m’a offerte. Une place coup de cœur. Soirée très agréable mise à part mon saumon qui était en partie non cuit, le reste était super. Je l’ai mentionné au serveur et il m’a accordé un 20% sur ma facture. On se dit à la prochaine.

Le service est très long donc il faut savoir qu’on attend avant d’avoir nos repas. Mais c’est le seul bémol. Notre serveuse était très gentille, bouffe correct et la vue à couper le souffle ! Je recommande pour une belle soirée d’été !

J’avais, au nom de notre petit groupe de dames d’un âge certain, des demandes particulières. Charlotte Joly a fait des pieds et des mains pour nous accommoder et son équipe également avec le sourire aux lèvres. Ce fut apprécié de mes amies et nous avons passé une très agréable soirée.

I've edited this review since the manager has reached out to me since to offer an apology. Extremely professional and I am willing to give the Terrasse another trey next time I am in the city. _______ Waited 20mins to be served, and another 20mins for the bill. We were only there for drinks and after one cocktail decided we’d rather not stay due to poor service-- our server made no effort to check on us. Had to get up twice and ask for someone to take our orders and again to get the bill. We had previously dined downstairs at the main floor restaurant and had an amazing experience and were disappointed in the dip in quality here— we should have just stayed downstairs! The view was nice though.

Stayed in Montreal for a week and this was the worst experience. Not a picky eater for the most part but we had to leave most of the food on the plate. Too bad because it’s a nice terrace. Don’t waste your time

Nothing on the menu was available appart from about 4 choices because the chef wasn’t there. We would’ve went somewhere else if we knew about it. Also the music was very loud and energetic.
