Terroni YONGE (at Price St.) Ratings and Reviews
Excellent food and very nice ambiance - but very load at times. No substitutions on the menu, no diet drinks - seems a bit weird.
Great food, great service and great ambience. I will come again!
A birthday celebration for a family member. I made note of this at time of reservation. We ordered dessert and even mentioned to waiter that it was a birthday. The dessert didn’t come with anything celebration — no candle!
Excellent food and service.
Food quite average
Much better pizza elsewhere
Always good. Great ambience. Fantastic pizza. We loved the shared Mezzo e Mezzo, charcuterie and cheese plate - very deluxe. Everyone very happy in my group of 9. Will definitely come back.
The steaks was really bad they can only cook mideum. Also the server was really slow and rude.
Great place and easy to get to this location And there is parking .
Waiter did not provide quality service as he left us as his lowest priority. He was very attentive to the two business gentlemen next to us. Just because we are a young couple please do not assume you will not receive a superior tip. Your tip is based on your service!
Above average food, very good wine, ear-splitting noise.
Great as always
We have visited other Terroni locations in Toronto however this was our first experience at the Yonge location. We were celebrating my birthday and with a large group of 12 we were pleasantly surprised by the large table that was in a more private section of the restaurant. I could tell that they made an effort to make our experience more private and special. Our waiter Alex was quite knowledgeable of the menu and the features that aren't on the menu. He made wine suggestions to pair and gave us some insight into the chef as well. He made the experience. Thank you Alex.
great food, but the wine list is expensive so overall it turns out to be not such good value for the night out.
All is good, but they are trying to rush you when busy, it will be nice to stay longer to talk with the people you are with, that is what an Italian restaurant is all about, to enjoy food and company.
I like this restaurant and I feel comfortable whenever I stay but sometimes there is no place .
The food came out too quickly. I was done my meal within 30 minutes.
Tomato sauce amazing
rushed food to our table..didn't bother taking a wine order
we couldn't enjoy a glass of wine before dinner.
The salad we received had THREE lettuce leaves in the bowl. For the prices Terroni charges, the salad should at least cover the size of the entire plate. When my party had mentioned our concern to the waiter, he sent over the manager to speak to us. The manager was unprofessional and RUDE. He argued that those are the portions of the restaurant and did absolutely NOTHING to try to correct the situation. He spoke aggressively and was all around NASTY. THIS MANAGER SHOULD BE FIRED.
We were 'parked' in a room with boxes, cut off from the rest of the restaurant. Service was unattentive and it looked like we were not welcome. We were basically neglected. As an Italian, I can say that there are many other places that offer better pizza, even at a better price. Will not go back. I personally did not like the mozzarella and the dough.
Good food, lively atmosphere, all in all a good dining experience. The restaurant has loads of energy, positive, happy energy which makes for an enjoyable experience.
Food wise, this place does not disappoint too terribly. Our favorite pizza is the Capricciosa. Any time we stray and order some other pizza, it is never as good. The pasta is good but our daughter who is 10, likes the noodle part the best and there never seems to be enough noodle but plenty of residual meat sauce and/or truffles in this case this past Sunday night. We were a party of 4 adults and 1 child. The bill was nearly $300. And what was most disappointing was the fact that when ordering coffee and espresso, there were no coffee spoons accompanying the cups of coffee and espresso. That is a HUGE sign for us -- a litmus test for a fine restaurant. For a $300 tab, that should not be an issue. And the coffee and espresso came out cold. No bueno. The osso bucco was good but very salty. I wish Terroni and restaurants in general did not use so much salt. It is definitely an eating out issue. Good location, parking is fine, the place is packed always and when asked to turn down the music, they did so without any hesitation. I just don't think this place is very good value for the $$$.
Dinner was delicious and the service was excellent.
Birthday. Consistently good. Thank you Terroni!
Great location and food is well liked by our kids
Fabulous night and wonderful service
Loved everything except the noise level. I thought it would be slightly quieter than the Adelaide location but it’s about the same. Will continue to come and bring friends because everything else is great!
Loved the food but having asked for a quiet table, we were in quite a noisy area, which was difficult for 2 of the people at the table who have hearing issues. The service was not quite as good as the last time - a little perfunctory.
It was an great experience It was lunch time, and the only thing I would of liked because it was a beatutiful day, I asked for a table by a window (and there were some available), I was told there wasn't.
Otherwise I would definatley recommend you
Consistent food and service is delivered at Terroni. Pizza is Naples style and the pastas are fairly tasty. The Branzino lacks flavour.
First time & I will return. Price is a bit high but loved the food.
We had a group of 8 including kids 11-16. Dinner was delicious if a little pricey, and the ambiance and service were excellent. We're going to make this a regular haunt!
Food is fresh and shows imaginative presentation Waitress was unspectacular but friendly and was helpful in wine selection and knew the dishes well
Always a comfortable local spot that never disappoints
Everything flawless, thank you.
My first time at Terroni with my best friend was great! Our waiter was very sweet and funny he recommended a good wine and we enjoyed it - the food was prepared fresh and was delicious we can’t wait to go back !
Very hip and fun spot!
Our server was great! The food is delicious.
The front of the house staff are a bit weird. I have been there three or four times now and feel that they are a little callous; their behaviour is very unwelcoming. I have had two separate guests mention that to me at two separate occasions so it’s not just me. They could be appear more attentive and less snooty.
But once you get in it’s a great place with good food and service.
Food was great. Noise level is really quite high because of the tables set so close to each other. We were two couples and server brought us the bill (1) without asking if we wanted to order anything more (2) a combined bill without giving us the option to split it. That really irked me, but the food is definitely great.
Love this restaurant but found that the food came out way too fast, ordered apps and mains and we were done within an hour. I'd like some time between to enjoy another glass of wine!
Sadly, everytime I go, things detoriate more and more. Food is very expensive and portions are smaller and smaller, burnt pizza, chinzy salad, sadly the only reason I still go is because you have the best Rooftop patio. Alas, can't justify it anymore. :(
