The Artichoke has a Classic American Menu to suit most any appetite. Located in a 100 year old Farm house it is a cozy atmosphere that lends to a comfortable dining experience. Beverage service includes a full bar and carefully selected Wine List to match any of the menu selections and customer tastes.

The entree selections start with chicken items followed by Shrimp three different way as well as Tilapia and Salmon. Our steak choices include the major cuts like KC, Ribeye, Top Sirloin and our Filets are all Top Choice. Each entree comes with a soup or house salad and side selection and we have upgrades of salads and vegetables. Our well trained staff can help guide you to the perfect meal for any occasion and if you come in for your birthday or anniversary we have our special dessert for you topped with a candle. Reservations are always a good idea so we can have your table ready when you arrive.

The Artichoke has been closed since Septmber!!!! I do not understand why they are still allowed to take reservations through your site. I was asked even to confirm the dau before. Yet the restaurant was dark with a tarp off the fron of its roof. This was a let down for our family. This certainly lowers my trust in Opentable. I will probably not use your app in the future. Please vet your restaurants in the future.

I have always given 5 Stars for the last 10 years we have been going to The Artichoke. Our favorite restaurant at the lake. But it is not the same under the new management. The soups are not up to par. It’s not what it used to be.

The food was delicious and service couldn't have been more attentive and delightful. They do a lot of special touches (roses for the ladies, reading glasses on every table) to make the experience of dining there enjoyable and memorable. Absolutely loved every aspect of our evening. Can't wait to go back!

If you’re reading this review, do yourself a favor and just book, you will not be disappointed. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome, the food is excellent, and portions are large—you will not leave hungry! I cannot recommend this restaurant enough!

Have been going here for many years and have always given the highest praise for the food. That is why our visit last night was so disappointing. Prime rib was very strong tasting of liquid smoke. Our sons KC Strip steak was over cooked and very chewy. The Boston wedge salad, my usual favorite, was kind of wilted and not served with nearly enough dressing. That has not been an issue in the past. We always celebrate our anniversary here and appreciate the dessert. This visit was simply not up to your usual standards and certainly not worth the price. We could have understood had it been a really busy evening, however this was a very slow Wednesday night. Overall, mediocre at best.

Had a wonderful experience. It was our first visit and will be back. I had the catfish and it was delicious. Hubby had the rib eye and he was very pleased Was my birthday and we were surprised with the chocolate cake and ice cream

The service and friendliness were great up until the end. The steaks were very good, but the shrimp scampi had an odd flavor. Salads were very small but tasty. Mushrooms and asparagus were tasteless. We were asked if we wanted dessert, and after we declined, we were asked to vacate the table for the next party, which was off-putting.

We ordered 2 pasta specials and one steak. The pasta special was supposed to include chicken, but for some unknown reason we were charged $4.95 each entree for adding chicken. We usually have great evenings and frequent this restaurant on several occasions each year, but I feel that we were not treated honestly on this visit. Since it was a special celebratory evening, we did not question our bill.

The food was ok, but very expensive for the amount. The pasta special was a child size plate of pasta (maybe a cup) and 4 shrimp, and it was $22, plus an additional $3 for a side of asparagus, and it was ok, but I was still hungry after dinner. My husband said the steak was pretty good. The drinks were great. I wasn't impressed with the service. We were celebrating our anniversary and the experience was a little disappointing. For that much money, I would go elsewhere for better service and decent portions.
