    Booked for a 10pm reservation as allowed on website- restaurant closes at 10pm. We showed up at 10pm and the host told us they were closed but a server and kitchen staff were waiting around for us to order. Don’t open up a 10pm slot for dinner if that’s when you close and rush us through the dining experience. We left without eating.

    Food was great, pretty good price for fresh seafood and good portions. Our server was a really fun, upbeat gal. Got to watch the beautiful sunset. Definitely will be back!

    Great spot for grabbing a bite after spending time at the beach. Management has deliberately understaffed the place so dont expect prompt service.

    My date and I had a wonderful experience at The Kits Boathouse! We had a reservation for 7:30, the weather was beautiful and hot. The beach and therefore the parking lot were packed. We drove around and around looking for a spot. When our reservation time came a passed, Isla my date walked over to the restaurant to inform them of our parking issue and to see if we would still be accommodated. The staff were very helpful and held our table. Soon after, we found a parking spot and went into the restaurant. When I made the reservation only general seating was available. Yet we were given a window seat overlooking the beach, ocean and the glorious sunset. We were very happy to have been accommodated on being delayed for our reservation time and for the awesome seating we were provided. Isla and I didn’t feel rushed to order or eat, even though the restaurant would be closing at 9pm and it was 8pm. The food was excellent in portion size, appearance, taste and dollar value. We enjoyed our meals and shared some with each other. We had César salad which we shared. Isla had the Crab + Lobster Ravioli with additional shrimp added on. I had Roasted Chicken and added Crab Oscar. Everything was superb except the truffled Brussels sprouts were undercooked so a 9.5/10 for meals. The ambience of the room was warm, comfy, relaxing and the view, Spectacular! Our server Donna was Excellent! Her friendly demeanour was engaging, her skills and knowledge were top notch. Donna is a real Pro! We would know as we’ve both spent many years in the restaurant business. Thank you Donna for your Excellent Service on Thursday night September 5, 2024 from 8-9:30pm Table 44/1.     We went for my husband's birthday. We noted this in the reso. Don't know why as it was completely ignored. Restaurant was full, busy but not overwhelmingly so. We are reasonable and nice customers, not overly demanding. The seafood tower was a joke. No tower and overpriced for what you got. The rest of our order was so-so. The food was really slow to come and our entrees showed up at different times. Service was bad and painfully slow. We had to look for our server several time but she could not be found anywhere. We had to ask for a missing place setting twice. We had to ask for a steak knife. None of this was noticed. To add insult to injury, the payment machine suggested a min. tip of 15%. You could customize the $ tip which required you to calculate it on a pre-tax basis. What do you give for bad food and bad service. We couldn't wait to get out of there. For the price, the service and food is better at so many other places. You were basically paying for the view but we couldn't enjoy this because of the overall bad experience.

    My friend and I had decided not to return to your restaurant after a poor experience at both Xmas and Thanksgiving, compounded by my polite letter of complaint having been ignored. However, time passes and we decided to give it another try. And thank goodness we did! Everything was done perfectly - great food, excellent server and, of course, the best view imaginable! We couldn't have been more delighted...so thank you all who were involved that evening. Graham Allen

    If you’re looking for a place to have a drink on the patio at sunset, this is the place. Other than that, I don’t recommend eating here. We went to celebrate a special occasion and were really underwhelmed by the evening. I ordered the halibut which was really dry and the edges were tough. For the price we paid, I expected higher quality food and service. Overall, this was a big let down.
