We totally enjoyed our dinner at The Campfire Grill. We live in Garden City but had never been here, as summer is always way too crazy in this town. It’s so nice to have a nice place to eat, especially in the winter. The menu offers delicious options. My husband ordered the Kurobuta pork chop, and it was amazing! The trout was also delicious, as were the surprisingly fresh and perfect golden beets. We will definitely be back to try the pizzas and the burgers!

My family goes here often and the food is always good. Whether it is a wagyu steak or hamburger or wood fired pizza or salmon, it is always good. The service is great! You can have conversation around the table without having to raise your voice. I highly recommend stopping by while you are at Bear Lake.

We had a wonderful time eating at the Campfire Grill on Thanksgiving Day. The food was fabulous. Everything was festive and beautiful. The service was impeccable! The staff worked very hard to make our experience perfect. We will be returning soon.

Whenever we stay at Bear Lake either alone or with friends, we always make it a point to do a date night at Campfire Grill. We have visited there happily many times as we have a cabin at the lake. This time, however, was a proverbial slap in the face to the consumer given the price one pays to eat there. They had one waitress on a Saturday night. Based on several comments from the waitress, including, "I like it this way, busy, busy, busy," one cal only assume this is the off-season model. We arrived for our reservation and were left to stand at the hostess station because they also didn't have a hostess. Given that this was fall break for many school districts, no matter how you slice it, this was a staffing fail for this particular weekend. Eventually, the pizza chef offered us a menu while we waited to be sat. 10 minutes after our reservation, we were sat and asked to be patient. Patience is one thing, but poor service is a whole different story. While thus waitress happily struggled with too many tables, the pizza chef hung out at the end of the bar chatting with, no doubt, an attractive young lady, who came in after us, but got her food (pizza), well before we were even served our drinks. While we were waiting to order, we watched our waitress clear debris from the bar area he was manning. My husband ordered a soda we had to ask for twice and never received a refill for. As for the food, my husband's pasta was good, not great. My meal, which was the waygu meatloaf was as charming as a Stouffer's Salisbury steak meal. I regretted every bite, wishing I had ordered the NY Strip, which is always phenomenal. Gluttony for punishment that we must be, we ordered dessert after many attempts to get the waitress' attention. It was okay. The carrot cake lacked the traditional density in both the cake and the icing that one typically expects, and the cookie skillet had a bit of a chalky edge to it.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Campfire Grill. Our server, Nine, was absolutely amazing and gave us an incredibly memorable experience. The food was very well cooked, however, it needed a bit more seasoning. Highly recommend the crab cakes.

$46 steak came with instant mashed potatoes. Our family of 4 made dinner reservations for a Monday evening. We saw how busy they were, so we ordered an appetizer in anticipation. I am not exaggerating here… We waited 20 min for drinks. Appetizer came near the 54 min mark, and about 5 minutes before our entrees. We ordered 3 steaks and 1 salmon. They brought us 2 steaks and the salmon at almost near the hour mark. The third steak came when the 3 of us were halfway through our meal. Such a disappointment. We will not go back.

This is a lovely spot if you are up that way, Bear Lake region in UT. They have friendly staff and a nice comfy menu of options. The food is consistently nice and the setting is very tranquil. Happy to return time and again each summer.

I’ve been here a few other times when I’m in bear lake. It’s always been spectacular. This time it wasn’t as good, I was a bit disappointed. I’ll try again another time. Service was great.

We have visited The Campfire Grill before but were disappointed this time. Our $14 kids meal was a BURNED grilled cheese, like black cheese. We were super nice about it but mentioned that our kids wouldn’t eat it because it was burned. Our waitress could care less.

Really enjoyed this place. The breakfast cheeseburger was really awesome, as a was everything we ordered. It was not busy at all, which hopefully will change so that it stays open and awesome. While it’s set in the glamping resort, I’d expect it’s one of the nicest places around Garden City.

We absolutely love staying at Conestoga Ranch, and a meal at the Campfire Grill is a must! We’ve only had breakfast here since we have young kids, but would definitely be interested in having dinner there one of these years. All of the employees are so kind and welcoming, and offered to take a picture of us—we didn’t even have to ask. Our server was very kind and patient with our youngest, who is 7 years old and very shy, but wanted to order on her own. The food came quickly and each of us loved our meal. The breakfast potatoes are especially scrumptious! Their mugs are HUGE and our daughters were delighted with their hot cocoa. We will of course be back next year! Maybe for dinner too.

Beautiful location but the food was just average, especially for the prices. $28 for meatloaf that was bland, spongey, and cold. Only veg was plain steamed vegetables like it's still 1992. We had our 9 year old with us and even after I mentioned she was a picky eater, they didn't tell us there was a kids menu. Only found out because we saw other kids eating it as we were leaving. That was pretty messed up. Very disappointing.

The food at the Campfire Grill is consistently excellent. We love the setting and appreciate the fact that the restaurant is now completely enclosed (although by glass so you continue to have the outside well in view. Service was excellent as well.

Service was outstanding. Bill, the manager was excellent. Kasey, the server, was attentive and perfect. The ambience suburb. The setting is beautiful. The food has potential...seasoning was minimal and portions not in-line with the $$. We didn't need bigger portions, just better quality/taste. The baked mac and cheese with bacon and mushrooms was delicious. The salad was fresh. My father-in-law thought the pizza was delish and my mother-in-law thought the pork sliders were tasty.

We got steaks, as they gave them to us they waited until we checked and made sure they were cooked correctly. My wife can’t stand any pink, so she told them it wasn’t completely cooked for her. They took it back and when they brought it back she was still a little nervous, so they took it back again, the next time the chef brought it out and apologized. My wife apologized as well for being a pain, to which he responded in a laughing tone, “why are you apologizing? I’m the one cooking it”. Josh was a great server, you would have never known it was his second night or that they were understaffed.

Most of our food was fabulous! The kids gobbled up the pizza, the shrimp skampy was good (a bit heavy on the tomatoe topping), but...unfortunately the lamb shank, although tasty... it was cold in the middle. We had to send it back to get it reheated. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts and the crab cakes!

Weekend getaway brought us to this hidden gem. Even the locals don’t know about this treasure. We thoroughly enjoyed the tent like experience and the menu had LOTS of good choices. Food came timely and the staff was very friendly. A real pleasure to have had the chance to visit the grill.
