   Great experience (as always). Most of us had ribeyes and they were fantastic. Matt, Our server, was very attentive and professional. Always a first class experience!

   Love the place! Steaks were perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked to medium rare and beautifully seared. New England clam chowder was delicious and one of the best we've had - better than some we've had in New England. The only thing of note was that 22 oz bone in ribeye was thinner cut than I would've expected (not the overall size/weight but the thickness). However, Filet was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to go back!

    Staff was awesome. Food was not up to par. Seemed they were having an off day. One of our orders came roughly 5 minutes after everyone had there food. Both my wife and I ordered a brunch steak meal. Asparagus was horrible. No joke it was literally steamed asparagus. No Seasoning etc. luckily we ordered the Brussels. They were delicious. French toast my daughter had was undercooked. Luckily the staff made it up to us and were extremely apologetic. It was our first time here. I would try it again just because of the staff.

    Single greatest meal, and bless Phillip. His service was second to none and all the food was amazing. We will continue at minimum coming for my fiancée's Birthday, and our Anniversary every year

    Definitely not the best of my visits. I will attribute that to the fact that it was a Monday evening. Service was rushed (may be due to short staffing) and some of the food prep did not meet our expectations. The calamari appetizer was more hot peppers than calamari and came without a dipping sauce. Oysters were okay. Then, kid's NY Strip came med rare, instead of medium. If it was for me, that would have been perfect. We were never checked if our dinner came to our satisfaction. There was also lot of wait time between clearing of the appetizers and serving the main course - almost 10 mins. I've had great visits at the Capital Grille. The restaurant is still a solid 4 1/2 - 5 stars rating, and I'll definitely be back. But this particular visit was just not one of them.

    Ordered two of the exact same steaks, their signature porcini rub balsamic glazed bone-in ribeyes. One was perfect but the other was basically 50% fat and mostly not edible but charged us for both with no rectification.

    We celebrated a birthday, and the overall experience was awesome. The service was great, and the food was delicious. With a surprise dessert and bubbly, it was a perfect evening. Capital Grille is a great pre-show dinner spot with Parker Jazz Club just downstairs.

    The waiter was not sharp not asking us how are steaks came out. Getting our drink order wrong. Not clearing the table until we asked him too. All in all not the level of service we expect from a Capitol Grill.

    We’ve been going to capital grille for years and have always had a great experience no matter which location we go to and Austin has never been the exception to the rule. However, last night was disappointing. My husband and I both got the special, 30 day dry aged ribeye and were severely let down. Both our steaks were over cooked from our preference and being “day aged” for so long, you’d expect a certain level of tenderness and that was absolutely missing from this steak. The flavor also did not point to that of a dry aged steak. We’ve gotten better cuts of meat from the counter at H‑E‑B. Our Lobsters were out way late. We were there for a birthday and our waiter brought a small desert for us but did not ask us if we wanted another desert of our choice, they kept refilling our sparkling water with regular water, and our waiter was just ok, I don’t even remember his name. It was not a BAD experience but it was also not our typical capital grille experience.

    We went out with some friends. Our experience was great and the food was wonderful.... BUT, Audrey our waitress made our night. She was wonderful and personable. Audrey by herself will make us return as long as we have her as our waitress.

    This review is for April 20th, my husband’s birthday. Lori our sever was not 5 stars but 6, and she knows that. Her professionalism and knowledge about everything is amazing. She spoiled us as usual. We had one of our guests flying back from Dallas and she came a little late and Lori took a good care of her. What else can I say…drinks, appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts were all perfect. The quality of this place is outstanding…the ambiance and noise level were adequate. Hopefully you guys continue like that…and I wish I can give the Capital Grille a 6 stars….you ROCK…150% recommended

    Absolutely fantastic experience start to finish. Special dinner to celebrate my brother’s birthday, and our server Chase was top tier. Perfect pacing; incredibly well seasoned food presented beautifully. Will absolutely consider for our next celebration.

    This was our first time dining at The Capitol Grille and wow! Jameson (James) was our server and he made my boyfriends birthday so special as well as our experience!! We received a complimentary glass of champagne, dessert (with happy birthday in chocolate) and a cup of cappuccino! Never experienced such wonderful service and the quality of the food was amazing.     It was a birthday celebration and no detail was left undone, The birthday confetti sprinkled on the table to greet us when we were seated set the mood. Laura Ann, the waitress, was knowledgeable of the menu and was suggestive but not overbearing. She made the dinner experience top notch. The food was well seasoned the steak cooked to the right temperature. Perfect place to celebrate and will return again.
