    After doing my reviews as always.. we made the best decision. The Capital Grille was on point from the moment we walked through the door, until we walked out the door. My wife and I celebrated our Birthday dinner together, and it was everything we expected. We loved the way they had the table decorated for us when we arrived.     Capital Grille is a consistent experience that guarantees quality food (the Porcini is our go-to entree) and stellar service. We go often and will continue to patronize Capital Grille moving forward. We've been in various Capital Grille restaurants from NYC to Jersey to NC, and we are never disappointed.

    Our family of 5 enjoyed a memorable dinner at CG. We arrived on time for reservations, but had to wait for our table. Multiple people came over to apologize for the wait. We understood as it was Thanksgiving and people should linger over a meal together. We waited about 15 minutes past our reservation. Once seated the manager immediately arrived at our table with champagne and offered complimentary appetizers. Definitely the best way to handle the delay. Everyone enjoyed the entire experience and meals. Our favorites included the shared mashed potatoes and perfectly prepared steaks. The menu is reliable and fresh. The restaurant was quiet despite being very busy on Thanksgiving night. We felt that the staff added to our experience, from valet to servers. Everyone working was appreciative and thoughtful. We will be back for special occasions and especially for our holiday meals.

    Great food and service. However, we noticed that an employee that was setting up nearby tables was bringing water glasses over in groups of fours with her fingers fully in the inside of the glasses. Prior to that she was cleaning off tables. Really gross. Please reevaluate training procedures.

    One word…PHENOMENAL! Thank you for making my daughter’s 25th birthday one to remember. Nicole our waitress was OUTSTANDING. She was attentive, patient, and pleasant! Many thanks to the entire Capital Grille from the grand welcome that our party received to our parting goodbye. PS My daughter said the lamb chops are to die for😋😊

    It was probably one of my worst dining experiences at the capital Grille.  the food was not good at all even the fillet was bland and tasteless.  the sides were cold.  the calamari very chewy.  our waiter was an older gentleman and was not particularly attentive, and was actually rude at times.     Receptionist didn’t recognize our special occasion note as noted in reservation. Kitchen Food service slow; soup was not proper temperature; main meal was good; sides serving sizes were smaller than expected; desert was good but also smaller than expected. Overall food was good while pricey & table service was attentive yet vibe not as great as expected from previous years.

    We had a wonderful evening and, as always enjoyed a delish meal. Our waiter, Pierce was fabulous and most attentive and his wine recommendations were exceptional. We were celebrating two family birthdays and appreciated the confetti and cards and yummy desserts to make the event complete. We hope to return soon. Would love to see a Capital Grill open in the Lake Norman area of North Charlotte so we can enjoy dining there more often.

    Bone-In Ribeye was Amazing Calamari was too - Amazing Flourless Chocolate Espresso Cake was Delicious We weren’t offered any Bread All other Tables received a basket of Bread Potatoes Au Gratin were just OK Not great Server stood inches away from the table making it awkward, we had to look straight up to see his face Further, the server was not nearly as attentive as we expected from a Capital Grille

    The service was excellent and reservation seating request was honored very well. I have to say that my sliced filet was a little dry and I did not like the nutmeg added to the creamed spinach. Everything else was fantastic.

    It was a wonderful date night. Our server was as very attentive and the food was excellent. We were able to keep our car parked with the valet while we walked across the street to enjoy a show at the Belk Theatre.

    The food was excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked. The lobster tail and oysters were very fresh and tasty. Our server, Derek, was great. He was spot on with timing of food delivery, etc and was fun without being intrusive. He never made us feel rushed, which has become a problem at many restaurants these days! We were able to take our time, enjoy our, meal, and ponder dessert at our leisure. The entire experience was superb!
