Me and best friend came for the generous pour wine tasting. The first red flag was when we were ordering our food. We started off ordering two appetizers because we like to try the menu and we were recording for our YouTube review. The waiter cuts us off and says “oh no it is mandatory to order to a entree to go with the wine tasting” as if we weren’t already planning to do that. So it seemed as if he profiled us for being black girls that didn’t want to spend money. Then as we already had previously knowledge about the wine event, tasting 7 different wines and then getting refills on your top 3 favorites. He only brung out two different wines and only offered to refill one wine the rose for the entirety of the dinner. If it wasn’t for a manager I’m assuming it was because he had on a suit, bringing glasses of Pinot noir to go with our fish dishes, we would’ve never tried any of the red wines. So in total of the 7 wines we only tried 3. He rushed us through our meal and told us “just choose a wine, drink it with your meal and be done”. It was later we found out he was ready to leave his shift because we seen him by the open kitchen undoing his tie. Next the waiter mixed up our cards and charged the wrong cards to the wrong bill and wasn’t apologetic about it at all. In all I don’t see myself coming back to this establishment.

We had a lovely dinner at capital Grille. We went during Houston restaurant weeks and it was quite full, but Jason was our waiter and the service was excellent. And the steaks are always very good.

The food and drinks were delicious. Generous Pour was a great way to enjoy several wines. Our server Zack and the manager Rodrigo were top notch keeping our wine glasses full. We will be back!

Steve Joest can be extremely proud of his team! The service level from the hostess, bartender, floor manager and then there is Tony. Tony is that top ten percent of a professional waiter. He knows his timing from appetizers to bringing out the main course to perfection! The Capital Grill - Galleria is for those wanting a premium five star dinning experience. Bravo!!

What a great meal!!! My wife and I love The Capital Grille. It is our favorite restaurant. The food is just superb. The service is the best compared to any in Houston. John, who serviced our table does not treat you like a customer. He treats you like a friend. He is always happy to see us. Anything we ask, he answers. Anything we want, he gets it. He is the best! A fantastic dining experience.

This place is perfect in every respect. From the great service (Jason was our waiter) to the food, ambience and entire staff. A manager walks the floor and asks about the meal and service as well.

Its been awhile since we had dinner at Capital Grille. We live out of town so we are unable to eat there as often as we would like. Everything about this restaurant was SUPERB!!! Food, service ,elegant dining & personnel are so accommodating. It was our 53rd wedding anniversary and we were so surprised that we received a complementary beautiful delicious dessert. WE WILL BE BACK!

Birthday dinner for my mom was awesome. Jay was fabulous as usual. We had 2 kids with us and they brought champagne so we could toast my mom and he brought the kids sprite in a champagne flute so they felt included too. Great experience!!!!

We always go to the Capital Grille for special occasions. The food is consistently good. We were there celebrating Mothers Day. Our waiter was so busy he wasn’t even able to get refills. I had to ask every time. When the steaks came out, no one brought us steak knives. I had to ask a wait staff person who happen to walk by. Our appetizer was not even out a few minutes before our dinner was served. It was a rushed experience. We might as well have been at Outback. My steak was undercooked but delicious. Based on my experience, I would not return.

Another great trip to Capital Grille. It was Mother's Day so it was pretty busy and as such there was at times a longer wait to get attention than usual. Roberto and team did a great job and food was excellent.
