    This has been our favorite Capital Grille. It was really disappointing. Our reservation was at 5:15. We arrived at 5:05. We were seated in a separate room with a private party going on. There were only three of us and plenty of room in the restaurant. It was extremely loud we asked to move and was moved to another table in the same room. We had to be out by 630 so there was plenty of time to seat us in the restaurant. It took a very long time to get our cocktails. One of our steaks was way overdone, but by time we got our meal, we had no time to get a new one and we were never compensated for that. The asparagus was very woody, and was basically inedible. Service was like we were forgotten, and we felt like an inconvenience, we were very disappointed. This is the first time that I felt like I was at a big chain restaurant with Capital Grille.

    From the start the staff was not very attentive. When we arrived the hostess did not even greet us. She was very preoccupied with other tasks. The bar was full but we got 2 seats for a pre-dinner drink. The wine we wanted and that was on the menu was not available. Then we got a call that our table was ready. We were 10 feet from the hostess and she couldn’t even walk over to us. Then we were brought to a very bright back room. Not very appealing. We asked for a different table and we’re accommodated. The waiter was not happy that day. He was curt and seemed annoyed when we asked a question. Then we ordered a Shrimp. cocktail to share. They were medium in size -you usually expect much larger shrimp at a Capital Grille. Then we ordered a salad to share. The waiter actually said, “you want that too?” When the salad came it was nicely split but not very flavorful. Then our dinners came. My steak was so salty it was hard to eat. After dinner my cappuccino arrived cold. This was not a good experience.

    Joshua was amazing as the manager who helped to make sure we were taken care of from the start. Then Natasha amazed us with her service. We always have a great experience at the I-Drive location. The food was amazing, as always!

    We were promptly greeted and seated. Our server, Pablo Marrero who was outstanding. Very knowledgeable, courteous, and great customer service. He is a keeper. Look forward to eating there again in the near future.

    We had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our server, " Mony" who we have had the pleasure of being attended to by him was on his game, as usual. He is obviously a well-trained and seasoned restaurant employee. Not only was he very attentive and accommodating, he is always entertaining, which is wuite the bonus. We had our usual table- #64 which is outr favorite, and we fidnt have to ask for that tabke either. Everything was well coordinated. This Capital Grille, on I-Drive, IMO , is the best run of all the CGs. Thank you for making our Thanksgiving so special!

    Solid Thanksgiving meal at Capital Grille, though service lacked usual finesse. Party(?) room seating felt a bit too isolated and cramped, especially for a family w/o young children. Service hiccups noted, but still optimistic about future visits.

    We enjoyed our dinner but the steak we had fell short. It was barely seasoned so taste was lacking. Service was excellent and ambience was nice. Drinks were delicious.

    Our reservation was done weeks in advance, but when we got there on time, our table wasn’t ready and we were offered a table at the terrace, where all the walk-ins were being seated. We refused and had to wait about 30 mins until a table was available. Once seated, the service and our waiter were perfect. We were offered a complimentary appetizer as a remedy for our inconvenience.

    As usual, the Capital Grille delivers with superior service, excellent wine offerings and perfectly cooked and delicious steaks and sides. Its always a pleasure to dine at the Capital Grille and the Orlando restaurant is the equal of any of the other locations I have visited. Thanks again to Hamid and the rest of the team.

    Energetic is an understatement…was given a lovely romantic booth for two however we sat adjacent to a table of 15. Whilst they were celebrating as were we they had no consideration for other dinners…they started with moderate shouting which turned into excitable hollering /screaming and was ear shattering. It ended in us struggling to hear one another and left feeling exhausted. Sadly it was with great pleasure and relief to leave.

    Starting with proper Hostess friendly welcome, this continues to be the Temple of American Upscale Cuisine. The Service by Mr Chalice and his Server team (including Johanna) was impecable. Made great suggestions and was always on spot. The Chappellet Chenin Blanc was delicious although over-priced @ $154. These folks really know how to follow your instructions for your Martini. Our guests delighted on the Wagyu NY Strip with Lobster Tail, we enjoyed spectacular Lamp Chops with a sweet & spicy sauce recommended by Chalice, also the traditional Filet Mignon and a very tasty Miso Butter Seabass. What an awesome special dinner should be.

    Usually this is a nice romantic venue with a little chatter but this evening was quite loud and packed. Dining customers obstructed service and other customers from walking to and from tables. Ordered the chicken dish which is sacrilege but the dish is usually tasty. This time the seasoning on the chicken was nonexistent. Mushroom risotto was flavorful. The waitresses were excellent.

    We’ve always enjoyed The Capitol Grille but this time it didn’t quite meet our expectations. Our reservation was at 6:30 and there was numerous tables available but we were seated right at the intersection of two busy traffic pathways. As for dinner, my wife had perhaps her best tuna meal ever. I on the other hand was disappointed with the lamb chops. Presentation was beautiful but they were tough. It was even difficult to cut through. Not what I’m used to. For the price, it was not a 5 star experience.
