We love Capital Grille. But Capital Milwaukee experience was ruin by a bad waitress. It was a shame. We wanted to enjoy our evening dinning but had to cut our evening short from the horrible service. We like the Capital Grille restaurant but do not recommend the bar waitstaff at Milwaukee.

This was the second time my husband and I have dined here. They were able to seat us in a booth far in the back, which is what I wanted, I appreciate them being so accommodating. Our server was wonderful and attentive. The food is very high quality and fresh. Our steaks were done exactly to our liking. And the dessert was huge! Overall great experience.

Had a reservation and we were seated within in 5 minutes of our groups arrival. The food was excellent!! The lobster bisque is a must any time you go there. Everything was cooked to perfection. We will definitely go there again.

Thanksgiving at Capital Grille was outstanding! The turkey was moist and delicious. The sweet potato casserole was so light and fluffy and delicious. I don’t think I’ve ever had better! The mashed potatoes were great. The desserts were divine! Plus, the portions were quite generous to where we practically had the equivalent of a whole other meal to take home. I would definitely do it again and I look forward to other meals at Capital Grille, especially since it was our first time there.

Had an early dinner there the other night and everything was wonderful. Our server Sharon was great! Will be back! Yes, it's a more expensive meal but it's because of the quality food and service, so worth it in my book.

We went for our 25th Anniversary and full disclosure did add that info to the reservation. We were warmly welcomed, there was a lovely card on our table wishing us well and cute heart confetti. Very nice! Our server Mark was down to earth and fun, gave us great recommendations, and treated us well. The NY strip was fine, not great, just fine. The scallops were amazing, lobster tail was over cooked. They brought us a delicious dessert and champagne to close things out which we enjoyed very much. Is Capital Grille the best steakhouse in town? No, but they do things well enough that we go back from time to time and after this visit that won't change.

We had the bacon and the crab cake appetizers; both were excellent. I ordered the clam chowder next. It was extremely bland and not good at all, a theme that continued the rest of the evening. From there, we both ordered the Snake River Farms Wagyu New York strip, the bacon creamed corn, and the au gratin potatoes. The potatoes we very bland and unimpressive. They were covered with French’s crispy onion just like your go to green bean casserole for Thanksgiving. Not what I expect from a high quality steakhouse. The creamed corn was not cooked enough and served cool. The corn was way too crunchy for creamed corn and we sent it back for the lobster Mac and cheese. This was also bland and unimpressive, but much better than the raw corn. The Wagyu steak was as tender as you would expect but instead of seasoning the steak, the just put some butter on top. It very bland as well. This was the first time in my adult life I had to use the salt and pepper shakers on the table for a steak. Not worth the money at all. The cheese cake was actually great and the service was attentive. Unfortunately, the food is the worst I’ve had at a fine dining establishment. Or many regular establishments for that matter.

Server needs more training. Crowded restaurant noise on a Friday night, why am I yelling my food order across the table. Then he got it wrong & needed to return. Four at table, we asked for more bread, didn’t bring butter. We ask for butter, another delay. Slow service on bar drinks. Offers the check to my niece at the table, didn’t ask who gets the check. Never saw a manager stopping by the table to check on us like they do in Tampa. Milwaukee you need help.

This was a truly unforgettable evening. The Capital Grille not only serves the best food, but provides exceptional service that you can not find anywhere else. All the staff greeted my guest and I during our visit, treated us with respect and kindness, and made the dinner magical. My fiancée stated it was the best steak she ever had and I was equally impressed with the taste and quality. Peter and I believe Brianna (hope I spelled this correctly) were not only polite and courteous but went above and beyond to make our visit a one of a kind experience. We will certainly be back again without question, and will always recommend the fine establishment to any friends or family that are looking for a unique and special dining experience. Thank you to all the hard working staff!

This is my favorite Capital Grille! I frequent here often for either business meetings or after work when I’m in Milwaukee; which is a lot. Whether I’m in the lounge or requesting a special table, I feel like a VIP each and every time. The food is exquisite paired with the most amazing service. Love this place!

Outstanding! My work colleague and I had dinner at Capital Grille in Milwaukee in early October. Definitely upscale dining. The service was stellar from the hostess to our servers. Angel was our head server. He was accommodating and very knowledgeable. He said he overheard my colleague saying "congratulations" and us toasting to my new job, so he brought us a free dessert plate. He really went above and beyond. We each had the wedge salad and steaks for dinner. The steaks were cooked to our liking and wonderful flavor. I would highly recommend visiting.

This location renewed my faith in the Capital Grille. The food, and service is beyond reproach. This location has the best French Onion Soup we have ever had, and we are from the Montreal area.

Capital Grille does not ever disappoint! Ive been to Several and thats why i keep trying new locations. You always feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The hosts greet you with a smile and warmth. The server was outstanding. He was kind, courteous and professional. Our meals were outstanding! Dining at The Capital Grille is always wonderful. But my wife and I celebrated our anniversary this time, as well, and the restaurant management and staff made it very special with a congratulations note and confetti to start, a “Happy Anniversary!” dessert and even a champagne toast. We had a great evening! The meal was outstanding, as always, but the experience overall could not have been any better or more warm and celebratory. Thank you!
