    Great ambiance, amazing food. We loved every part of our experience. This is such a great alternative to the noisy crowded and run-of-the-mill fare on 17th ave.

    Casbah is an awesome place. Whenever we are in Alberta this is a must place to eat. The selection of what to eat will meet almost any dietary desires. Ronnie is a wonderful host and owner, and makes you feel a part of the Moroccan family. The atmosphere is great and the food is a party for the palate! This is a must place to eat in Calgary. Have I said enough that it’s a must place to eat…definitely not!

    Was my first time at this restaurant. Very nicely decorated and we had a nice very private table. I ordered a glass of wine which arrived nicely chilled and a good pour. My husband had a cocktail which he enjoyed. The prawn appetizer was delicious and generous serving. My main entree was a rice Chermoula with vegetables and chicken. Good but could have used a little more kick. My husband felt the same way. A nice evening though and we would eat here again.

    Everything g was wonderful. Would have giving ambience a 20 star rating if I could. The food and serving sizes was great, and the service and recommendations was top notch. A great restaurant to celebrate a special occasion. Just stumbled across this gem while searching restaurants in the area. Will recommend to all my friends and family.

    We enjoyed our evening out here. The food was amazing and our service was excellent. The atmosphere in this little out of the way restaurant is unlike anything you’ve experienced before! Definitely worth the trip! We will be back again.

    It was our first visit to The Casbah. My husband and I shared two appetizers and the Sahara tajine sampler. The merguez was bland but the other flavors were rich and delicious. The food was presented beautifully. We will certainly go back, there are many other dishes we want to try.

    Ambience was off the charts!! Waiter took time to explain all the dishes, food was delicious and all service people were upbeat throughout the evening. This restaurant is a big winner!!

    We brought out of town friends to Casbah. They were so impressed by the entire diningg experience. Our host was so welcoming and left an indelible impression. Wonderful ace to dine.

    Beautiful restaurant with a lot of character. I’d high recommend for a romantic dinner. Romi was extremely personable and made the whole evening a delight. Food was amazing! Went for a dinner night out with my fiancé. Loved it!!

    What a gem of a place with spectacular decor and ambience. It is so nice to go somewhere that is quiet where I can carry a conversation. The staff/owner is very nice, genuine and on point with food, drink and desert suggestions. A 10 out of 10 forsure in all categories!

    This place is perfect for a romantic date, the ambience and decoration makes you forget that you are in Calgary! The food was amazing, very tasty and Hani was very attentive and kind. The wine menu was great as well, few choices but very well curated. My GF loved it, and so did I . We would definitely come back. Thank you guys for everything.

    Was pretty disappointed considering the last time I was here it felt like a great authentic Moroccan experience. The service made myself and my partner uncomfortable and we were left with a hefty bill that did not warrant the food or service we expected. Very sad. Hopefully others enjoyed their experience, we however did not.
