Excellent food. The steak was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. Drinks are pricey so beware. $10-12 per mixed drink.

Had the “wild game” lamb burger which was uniquely delicious. Local craft beers were great and service was excellent. All topped off by a generous portion of amazing owners recipe peach cobbler and vanilla ice cream. Definitely going to make this a favorite place to go any time I’m near Newnan Ga.

First time trying The Cellar and I have wanting to try their Wednesday Jazz Night. My Experience definitely did not disappoint and I enjoyed the Food. The service was attentive and the Live Jazz was the icing on the cake. I recently moved to Newnan so it was great enjoying Jazz without having to drive all the way back to the City/Atlanta.

Absolutely amazing. First but not last time. Wonderful meal and setting for our anniversary. The sweet onion bacon soup was incredible. Take a chance and don't order your typical meal style. We went outside our norm and were very impressed.

The food was great as always. We were there for my son's graduation. They gave him a card for a free dessert NEXT time he has dinner there. At these prices, this is not a restaurant we visit that often, which makes it a rather meaningless gesture. I've never been to a restaurant that did this. If it's a birthday, anniversary or whatever the special occasion, if a restaurant is going to do anything special, do it at that time!

It was very loud inside and the server was not very attentive. I had indicated on my reservation that this was for a 50th Birthday celebration and no one there acknowledged this. So what is the purpose of asking special instruction on the reservation request and not acknowledge any thing on there.

I took my mother here for Mother's Day. 3rd time. They had a preset menu, 3 meats and about 7 sides. The food was delicious and we had enough to take some home.

The food is always amazing. The service just couldn’t find the right gear. Slow from the start and never recover. No kids menu but they tried to accommodate. We’d still return, probably not on a peak night and w/o the kids just for the food.

We live within walking distance of the Cellar. Thought it would be fun to take friends who were in from out of town to eat dinner. All started well enough..Lovely night and we asked to be seated outside. First round of drinks and appetizers came out quickly..Everyone including our guests were happy...
Our server became overwhelmed..Drinks were not re-filled... 30 minutes after ordering our entrees she circled back to say that the special one of our guests ordered was out and what else would he like....30 minutes later no food....An hour later no food.....No attempts at an update from our server...No water or drink re-fills. We were finally about to leave and then our food showed up. The steak entree was ordered with a pink center..came out very well done. We aren't willing to give up on the restaurant yet, but will not bring guests here again. It was embarrassing and we felt bad for them...

We live here in Newnan and have been here a few times, most recently Saturday night. The lighting has yet to be repaired in the main dining area. The last time we were there it was like that and had to ask for more candles which barely worked. Please go around and replace all burnt out light bulbs in the ceiling. I was watching some guests in this area I am talking about and I was amazed how dark it was in that corner. Anyway, service was ok. Had a couple of empty glasses for sometime before he came back to see if we need anything. My chicken dish was very good. My guest's pasta dish was good but a little rich for his taste. I will come back and I hope to see it lighter in there!!

I visited this restaurant for the first time for Easter 2019. The menu was family style and everything was absolutely delicious. Our table was never neglected for a second and everyone was very attentive and seemed genuinely concerned with us having an enjoyable experience. Totally worth it and we will be back!

We went for Easter Sunday. I will have to say I was a little disappointed in the atmosphere of it. I had heard great things about this restaurant from others, but we didn't get that impression. We were seated in the Bay area, maybe the other area inside has a nicer appeal.. Would have been nice to know prior to reserving my table. Anyway, we were seated next to a dirty garage door in the sun and had to ask for a different table as it was not appealing. Our waiter was fantastic and very friendly and quick in serving us. NO complaints there. The food was all you can eat served in bowls to you and to be shared with each other. (Which surprised me as I was picturing something totally different). Aside from that the food was good. Home cooked type of food, ham, chicken, steak, casseroles, veggies etc..... As noted it was good food, did not like the rustic outside atmosphere of it for Easter Sunday. If you like that, you will enjoy eating there....

This place is good, but not great. Overall it's a nice ambiance with good service, the food was hit and miss. Some things were excellent, like the shrimp and grits cake appetizer, fantastic. The fried pickles were also very good. My seafood pasta had a great sauce but the pasta clearly wasn't fresh. How do you charge that much and not have fresh pasta, seriously? The lamb chops were bland, and just o.k, I've definitely had better. The pork chop was alright, although the cider taste was a little overpowering. The salmon was very good. So really not a bad place at all and probably very good compared to other similar places in the area but overall I've just had better so I can't give it more than 3 stars . Honestly it's like a 3.5 but that's not a choice.

Loved this place. A gem we stumbled on traveling south. Highly recommend the Pimiento Cheese, fried green tomato BLT - if it’s still on the menu. The chicken on our pasta dish was the juiciest and most tasty I think I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Wish this were closer to home. I’d be a regular!

My husband and I frequent The Cellar about five times a year. We have brought out of town visitors here several times. Two of our favorite items on the menu have been the lobster bisque and the Cellar burger. We were so disappointed when we arrived on Sat evening to find out that neither of them were on the menu any longer. Even though we both enjoyed our dinners, I don't anticipate coming as often. So sad 😔

We decided to give the cellar one more chance, huge Mistake. The management or owner here really needs to take a look at what has happened to this place. Sour $40 steak even the server turned his nose up when he took a smell. I will never go back or recommend this place to anyone, at one time number one on my list. It really is disappointing Owner should really pay attention to all these negative reviews it get involved the staff is horrible the food is horrible, an believe it or not this is the first review I have ever done, just that BAD

The lamb shanks ordered by my wife and two guests were dry, no sauce, blue cheese grit had no flavor. I ordered a prime rib and received a piece of meat that was a bit dry and hard to chew, the garlic mashed potatoes and beans were much of nothing. We had to ask for bread and herb butter and the so called "herb butter" had no butter flavor nor herb flavor at all, it was like tasting Crisco. Very disappointing all around. We will not return nor recommend the restaurant to anyone. Entirely not worth the money. I wish we would be refunded the money we wasted on the poor food.

I went for lunch with a colleague. Overall, the experience was pretty disappointing. The atmosphere inside the restaurant far exceeded the quality of the food. The Cesar was loaded with dressing and the soup had no flavor at all. I wouldn’t go back unless I had no other options.

We tried to sit in the same area as our friends but they were not going to accommodate us no matter what said. I felt that they were being hard to get along with regarding any seating. Our group consisted of around 22. We of course would have been happy to sit at different tables but at least in the same proximity. One (1) individual left because he did not have a"reservation". Bummer.

Hi. Thank you for your input. We have a special events protocol that allows us to efficiently service large parties and locate them in the same area. We worked extensively with your party, but they chose not to go this route. Our GM spoke with each table and explained that our dining is set up and seated in a certain order so that ALL our customers may receive the proper service and meal preparation. Your hosts were comfortable with their decision and we were following their request.
