    The Cellar never disappoints. We were lucky enough recently to dine in the new event space The Cellar has opened. It was very beautiful and private. As always, the food was delicious. It is a very nice place for a special occasion or a quiet meal with family.

    This is I think our 4th year doing Thanksgiving at the cellar and it was amazing as always. Food was delicious, services was great and our server Alexandra was awesome. Thank you for another great thanksgiving.

    Absolutely wonder food. 4 of us cleaned our plates and raved about the taste etc. No drinks or desserts. $210 before tip. 5star for food prep, presentation, taste. Will go again soon. Congratulations to chef 😍

    My experience was great. We went to celebrate my auntie’s 50th birthday. The hostess was wonderful she was warm and inviting and very sweet. The service was a little slow but the food was worth the wait. I ordered a Cesar Salad and my only ick would be the dressing it tasted like Mayo. My Entree was the chophouse chicken, which comes with lemon risotto, haricot, and lemon caper sauce. It was delectable. Everything was seasoned well, and the chicken was juicy. My sangria was delicious. Other Entrees that was ordered was the catfish and greens, shrimp and grits, double pork chop and the steak. The only complaints I heard was the broccoli which came with the pork chop was undercooked, and temp of the steak wasn't consistent through out some pieces were medium and some were medium well and some of the pieces were chewy. Overall the meals were good.

    The food and the ambiance were great. The server seemed like she couldn't be bothered. She never told us about the specials that were offered. After we finished eating, we were not offered dessert. She immediately asked how we were taking care of the check. We asked to see a dessert menu and that is how we became aware of the specials that were offered. We declined dessert, but had coffee. It too an inordinate amount of time after we finished to get the check and pay for our meal. I am not sure of she had too many tables or ? It was good but not great.

    I expect better service especially when paying this price. Ordered the ribeye cooked medium and it was right at well done. Still had good flavor but was not the medium I asked for. Really doubt I’ll give them another chance.

    We had an early reservation at 5:30 due to a commitment at 7:00. I had the salmon, my husband had the bavette steak and our friend had the shrimp and grits. The salmon was wonderful, the bavette steak was very tasty and our friend said his shrimp and grits were very good. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was also good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

    We tried the lobster bisque and the ahi tuna appetizers, they were delish! My husband got the crusted salmon and I ate the ribeye---all very well prepared and exquisite! Next door is the bays and our waitress walked my wine glass over there so I didn't have to quickly finish it, we were able to listen to the band, whiskey moon and enjoy talking on the patio. Highly recommend!

    Our experience started horribly. I made a last minute reservation at 9:15 and we arrived at 9:05. Upon entering the restaurant the hostess greeted us and then pointed at a booth and said you guys can sit there. We walked over by ourselves and sat down. The hostess came back a few minutes later and asked me what name or alias our reservation was under. I laughed and said I’m no one famous and gave her my name. She then made a weird statement about how she thought people would use an alias when they show up right before closing because it is a no no. I never looked at the closing time but there were reservations on line as late as 9:30. Again we showed up just after 9. 10 min later we were still sitting there without seeing our server. In fine print on the menu it states the restaurant prefers cash and there will be a 4% upcharge if you pay with a card. So we decided to leave and then had a great meal at the Thai place on the square. Food was hot and delicious. It came out super fast and service was amazing! It was a few years since we ate here. They no longer have different types of meat that you can’t get other places and is very expensive. I will not be going back! It was like being in a nursing home.

    Server took forever and a day to come to us, the overall attitude was very condescending I’m unsure if it’s because she assumed we wouldn’t tip but the standard “black food” recommendation threw us off like why suggest green tomatoes or greens…. We did tip good still but food was mid steak over done we just took it Togo and left, drinks were good so were the appetizers I had the Brie quesadillas overall won’t return

    Hands down the best steaks we had in GA! The Bavette was awesome and the sides that came with it were perfect. The steak was cooked to perfection. Our waitress was attentive and helpful. When we arrived we were immediately greater warmly. We ate had dessert and coffee and never once felt rushed to leave. After we walked around the square and even danced a little to a local artist playing his guitar on the square. Perfect night!

    My mother, daughter, and I had our first experience at The Cellar and it was wonderful! Emily, our server, was very kind and attentive to us throughout our whole dinner and did an amazing job! We ordered the catfish, the ribeye, and the salmon and all three were delicious. The fried green tomatoes and the fried pickles were our favorite part. I would recommend ordering drinks right away as they took a little bit long to get to our table; however, I know from working in a restaurant myself those usually take the longest to make. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back!

    Really enjoyed our visit last night. From the moment we stepped in the door, until we walked out….Fantastic experience. Food was great. Ribeyes and double cut pork chops. Cooked perfectly. And appetizers were great as well. Will definitely be returning soon. Enjoyed!

    The 16 oz steak is easily enough for two people. If you don’t want to share a steak, there are not many (if any) options. The potato had been cooked for a while so it was dry. It was an ok place.
