   Unfortunately, this restaurant has started going downhill in service, food, and atmosphere. The waitress was very pushy that we order our main course with our appetizers, didn't let us know they were out of something until one of our party decided to order it, never asked if we wanted refills or more to drink. When our appetizers were brought out, we were missing the bread, and the chips tasted stale. Once the bread came out, not even 5 minutes later, the waitress came back stating that she was going to clear our table because our main course was ready. Portion sizes have shrunk, and the veal was overcooked with burnt panko. We saw other waitresses in the area probably three times as much as we saw ours. Meanwhile, the restaurant was absolutely boiling, so it was hard to enjoy the meal while sweating.

   Disappointing and Dishonest. We celebrated Mother's Day at The Creperie and were thoroughly disappointed. Every dish that we were served, except for the Caesar salad, was lacking in flavour, as if salt is a verboten item in the kitchen. Our order included seafood chowder, crepe a la reine, veal scallopini, boullabaise, and two caesar salads, one with chicken. Although the Caesar salad was enjoyable, the large portion was served on a small side plate at a cost of $15.50. Furthermore, one small grilled chicken breast cost an additional $12.50. One would think that a chicken Caesar salad that costs $28.00 would be large enough to be served on a dinner plate. However, that is not the case at The Creperie. Adding to the disappointment was the complete inflexibility of the menu. Our server informed us that the chef refused to make any alterations to the dishes. Even a request as simple as one sauce instead of the other sauce was decline. The dishonesty is in respect to the prices, as what is listed in the menus online is not the same as what is listed on the menus in the restaurant. Having thoroughly looked at the menu online prior to arriving, we were quite surprised to find that the meal cost nearly $30 more than we were expecting. In all, we spent over $200 to feed five people, with one member of our party only having a Caesar salad, and none of us would recommend The Creperie. In fact, we would recommend that people actively avoid The Creperie. If you are looking for somewhere to eat before an event at Rogers Place, the overpriced food they serve at the arena would be better than anything they serve at The Creperie. At least there you know that the price you see is the price you will pay.

   Food is over priced for portion size. Upcharge for any changes are high. Changing from mashed potatoes to potato croquette is $10. I asked to substitute orzo pasta for extra veg which was no charge but the amount I got was what a regular portion of veggies would be which means the original amount was small.

   Went there for my moms 60th. Most of us ordered a dessert crepe as we had a late lunch. Nothing special about the crepes. The banana one my mom n sister Got was as though the bananas had been frozen, my mom ordered a Diet Pepsi n it tasted awful as they ran out of syrup. It was really pricey considering what we ordered n the restaurant for a Friday night with a concert happening was pretty empty. Glad I can say o tried it but I’d never go back

   The restaurant was "meh". Soup was room temperature. Main course was bland. Ambiance was okay. Not interesting. Not offensive. Restaurant was relatively quiet on a Saturday night. Price was okay. We got a lot of food, so I guess there is value there, but we were not thrilled with the flavour.

   French onion soup tasted like cheesy tomato vegetable. Crepe was a little doughy. 5 mini scallops and 4 tiny shrimp,monk fish non existent in crepe for $42. Poor value. Caesar salad was just OK,not good or great. Establishment has totally gone downhill. And the lack of customers certainly shows it. Good service, poor value and mediocre food. Won't be back.

    My husband myself and our friends went out for dinner before the Oilers game last Saturday. We went with ample time to make it comfortably to the game. Our appetizer salads were lacking in size for the price and flavour. Once our entrees came we again were disappointed as the size of the chicken portion was so grossly different from each plate one being twice the size of the others. But the worst was once I cut into my chicken breast it was completely raw inside!! I requested a new plate as I was very hungry and it took at least 40 minutes to get a new plate! By then the rest of our party was finished eating and was waiting to have dessert. By this time we were cutting it close to finish and make it to the game on time. We hurried to finish paid the bill and rushed to the game. I spent 45 minutes in the bathroom sick from the little bit of chicken I had eaten before I noticed it was raw (it was smothered in tomato sauce) We assumed that at the very least the raw entree would have been removed from the bill and it was not!!! To add insult to it all the server we had even charged us for the glass of wine she offered complimentary while I waited for my redone plate. Completely our bad not looking thoroughly at the bill before we left but we would have never thought that we would have been charged for the faults!! I have reached out to the management several times and have not heard back at all! First and last time spending money here! Management do not even have the decency to respond to concerns or take responsibility for what happened!

    Went for a business lunch. The service was excellent and food was amazing. It was downtown dining week, so there was a lunch special that I felt was good value. The only thing i didn’t care for was how it felt a little run down. The bathrooms were awful and had a sewage smell. Because it is in a basement and windowless, they should to some renovations and upgrades.

    After eating at the Creperie often while in downtown Edmonton for conferences, I thought I would try it for lunch, now that I am retired. It was not as good as I remembered, the last time being there in 2018. The prices posted on the website do not match the menu, some being nealy 30% higher, so that right away set me aback. The deep-fried crepes were as I remembered but for the new price, not really worth it. My partner had a crepe for his main dish. Just a drizzle of sauce, barely noticable and one slice of carrot, one spear of broccoli and one slice of zucchini. The pasta was plentiful, nut not much flavor. He did say the filling of the crepe was tasty. I had the French onion soup and it tasted watered down. When I mentioned to the server I was disappointed in the taste, the manager spoke with me and said he tasted it and it was how it always tastes. Well, I would always get the soup and it never tasted that underwhelming. I recall it having so much cheese, I would be scraping heaps of it that had overflowed over the bowl and down the sides. Again, with the increase in their prices, the soup is not worth it. It is a shame the new prices do not reflect the quality or quantity one gets. I will not be going there again any time soon.

    Restaurant had a nice atmosphere, romantic and quiet. Food was not bad, but quite pricey for what you got. Open table allowed me to make an 830pm reservation, but then later that day the restaurant called to ask us to move it since the kitchen closed at 845pm. Thankfully we were able to move up to 8pm, but it still felt rushed.

    What a fun place! Ok - if you’re after hip and stylish - this ain’t it. But it’s warm and eccentric. Ashley - our server was amazing. We ordered Escargot as starter - Ashley had to come back to say they were out of Mushrooms (which the Escargot sits in. We said we didn’t really care - we were ok without the Mushrooms. We waited a bit before they were served (trying not to devour the amazing bread and butter). I was just about to say something when Ashley arrived with our Escargots. Seems one of the z kitchen staff ran out to the store and bought mushrooms. They - like the rest of the meal was served very warm and very delicious.

    Creperie is my favourite restaurant and has been since I moved to Alberta 40+years ago. I now it’s under new management, but the menu, quality and service is still top notch. I did find the servings a bit smaller than before but that was not a bad thing. I felt very full and not over stuffed. Thank you to the new owners and staff for continuing to make this my happy place.

    The ambiance in the dining room is among the best you can find I'm Edmonton. The three course special was delicious and we appreciated the relaxed pace to dinner, it allows more time to enjoy every bite. Our server was friendly and attentive. A fantastic spot for a romantic date.

    The table we were at we were freezing, and soon as someone entered or left cold raised down the stairs made it very uncomfortable. My Chicken Cordon Bleu Entree was excellent, but my guest had a Ceasar Salad, it was small, a little wilted, and tasteless. The lady that served us was excellent even though it was only her third shift. Really need to put some heaters in the entrance to counteract the cold. I have been the Creperie many times but this visit may have changed my mind for future visits

    This was the first time we have tried the restaurant and it will be our last. That evening the restaurant was busy and they were extremely short staffed. They only had 2 menus for our table of four. Service was slow but I felt bad for our server who was running around all night. We ordered the Baked Brie as an appetizer which was delivered to our table cold. It was actually partially frozen. They did take it back and brought a new with our meal which took forever. Overall the meal was not very good and the experience was disappointing. It was a long evening which made us nearly late for the concert we were attending. I will not be going back to the Creperie Edmonton.

    Moving back to Edmonton after 25 years and so was pleased to see that this was a favourite restaurant that has survived. The 3 course meal is a great deal. Salad and crepe were awesome. The only slight disappointment was the dessert crepe. The chocolate sauce on the Crepe Glace Chocolat did not have quite the same richness as it did in the original version. Apart from that everything else was outstanding. Will revisit again soon!

    Ashley presented as welcoming, informative, and efficient when she interactively served us. The food was delicious as always. We appreciated the quiet area we sat in for us to converse quietly.     Haven’t been since about 35 years ago. Still as lovely as ever. Always loved the ambience and decor….glad it hasn’t changed…still relevant and cozy! Crepes are still delicious. Server was helpful and friendly…I would only suggest that they check back to refill water glasses more frequently…I had a full glass to start but didn’t get a refill till the meal was almost over.     We had heard of the Creperiere before but never visited it. Our granddaughter chose it for her 16th birthday and we loved it. We each had a different dish and sampled each other’s and we each felt that the one that we chose was the best. A great experience and we can’t wait to go again.
