The Crosby Bar
Always a happy, delicious place!
Restrooms are located three flights down from bar/restaurant and difficult to find. Elevator goes down to floor, but there is no sign indicating the floor where restrooms are found. Poor signage makes a trip to the restroom annoyingly difficult and tends to diminish one's enjoyment of the gorgeous facility. Heaven knows what would happen to the tippsy patron.
Wonderful bar, great cocktails and chatty staff. Will definately return.
Great staff although a little slow on the service
great food and service. Brunch is delicious, specially the chilaquiles
The most beautiful & best restaurant in soho
This time we had Joe as our server you can be hard pressed
to get servers like Joe & Jules Like one of the family.
Not close to having a bad meal at Crosby's
We will keep going back at least twice a month
The hotel is most beautiful & classy.
The decor & paintings are first rate
Great food- easy to visit- location easy for shopping.
Every time we come to NY we have a drink at The Crosby just love it!!!
I absolutely LOVE The Crosby Bar. The food is consistently good and the ambiance, decor and service are impeccable. This is a terrific place to have either an early or a late dinner. The atmosphere will immediately lift anyone's mood.
Great food and service. An oasis.
beautiful hotel & restaurant of the beaten track
The furnishings & art work were a A+
I had a steak with steamed cauliflower
Steak was cooked well but a little tough & the cauliflower
was a little to cool
We had Jules as our server & he was great
Definitely will be back soon
Great location in the center of Soho. Nice outside patio. Unfortunately, the service was very slow and sloppy.
Trendy bar with great cocktails and reasonably priced wine menu . Food delicious but beware ....portion sizes are very large !
Terrible service. Nobody came over to check on food, we had to keep asking.
I have been here several times and the food and ambience was always the draw, always very happy with our meals. but this time the food was DECIDEDLY BLAND - presented nicely but NO TASTE NO FLAVOR. we had to ask for extra sauces and spices, salt and pepper to make it palatable. ( we had ordered the corned beef plate and the original Joe) even after we had said so to the waiter he said he couldn't do anything about it. disappointing. it was Easter Sunday brunch so you would think that they would be at top of their game at such a predictably busy time. so embarrassed I had suggested this place to our foreign guests.
I love this place! They have vegan dishes and they are delicious !!
Perfect place for a business meeting also probably the best afternoon tea in the city.
Nice ambiance. Friendly wait staff. Good drinks
Best Chocolate Cake I've had in YEARRRRSS!!! I would go back just to order the cake! Trust me, it's worth it! :-)
We had the table by the door to the restroom so that detracted a bit but we could people watch those passing on the street which was fun
Amazing ambience and service. Loved it! Love the Firmdale aesthetic and had a lovely meal
One of my favorite restaurant! Service is top notch , food is always so yummy . Try the lobster pasta and the side of quinoa stir fry veggies
Amazing experience, waiter was super attentive and the host was such a charm (I wish I caught her name but it was a very nice short woman)
Although, I love this place. However, I just had the 'high tea' tower and some finger sandwiches soggy (pre-made), clotted cream hard vs fluffy, scones not warm. Afternoon high tea experience was not what I had hoped.
This was our first time to this restaurant and we couldn't be happier with our meal. From start to finish our experience was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!!
Service was very good in the beginning, then our lovely waiter disappeared and he only stopped by an hour later... but if he was around, he was lovely. Great atmosphere and food.
Lively atmosphere, nicely decorated with a British feel. Food and cocktails were delicious.
Wonderful service and delicious food. The restaurant is stunning and perfect for a romantic date or special occasion.
Excellent food as always, but service on this visit was pretty slow and forgetful. Disappointing especially as this was a Valentine's Day dinner.
Some of the food and drink here may be fine: my experience is with the Afternoon Tea.
The teas (delicate green and white) were oversteeped and bitter. The desserts were odd-tasting, apparently old - especially the macaroons which were bizarrely chewy. The server mistook one of us (a 30 year old woman) for under 21, but then offered to let her drink alcohol anyway.
The sandwiches and scones were fine - they showed signs of being freshly and skillfully made. This gives me some hope for the rest of the menu. But, The Crosby Bar has a lot to learn before it can offer an Afternoon Tea that matches its swanky price point.
The room is beautifully appointed. The service was excellent and the food terrific. Overall a wonderful experience and I will return...many times.
We had a wonderfully attentive server who paid attention to the allergy issues at our table and provided a seamless experience. The food was perfect as is the ambiance.
Food arrived cold. Inattentive but polite waitstaff
Great swanky-ish spot, in the Crosby Hotel, where you may see a celeb if you hang out late enough. Food portions are tiny, but are really delish. Drinks are good, if they get your order correct. Although the wrong cocktail was still good!
Love the ambience and the food, tea is a little overpriced but good for our anniversary.
Super nice ambience, great servers and great food
Service was fantastic. Had to be out in 45 mins. Great all around!
Unfortunately we got seated in the corner... next to the back door... cold air was coming in... I asked the waitress if they had anything else... and wouldn’t even bother to change us to another table...
I like going there... but after this... I will double think next time.
