The Distillery Bar + Kitchen opened in the Spring of 2013 serving up straight forward Italian-American style dishes and boozy handcrafted cocktails. The menu was developed with an emphasis on sourcing local ingredients, taking the time to make products from scratch and being inspired by the way that ‘Mama used to make it’.

The restaurant hosts a long 30 person communal table ideal for large groups, family-style dining or getting to know your neighbour. Guests can also sit outside on the heated patio to people-watch with a bottle of wine and flavourful pasta.

You may reserve seats online for a maximum of six guests. Please note that due to the style of our restaurant service parties of 4 or more may be sat at a communal dining table. Cheers!

    Fun place, the drink menu was very interesting. Tried a few that I thought would be good ( and they were ). We ordered a couple of appetizers and pizzas ( all of it was just ok ). Would I go back ? Ya, probably. Cool ambiance

    Our party had 3 half-chickens-under-a-brick and a broccolini pizza. Everything was hot and delicious. Our waitress was very good and attentive. I appreciated that she advised us when we ordered it the chicken would take 25 minutes to cook. The decor was nice too, warm and welcoming.

    Food was very disappointing unfortunately. It came out very cold. I had to pay 8 dollars to add on chicken and I was lucky to find 4 small scraps. I’ve dined here before and it was a good experience, but won’t be rushing back again after that dinner. Expensive and a let down.

    Overall a good place to eat. Food is good, drinks were good. I just wish they would have sat us inside in the pretty area. We were told those table were reserved, we also made reservations. But they told us we can only sit outside or in the part next to the kitchen. Not inside the actual restaurant. So that kinda bummed us out, because I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday..

    Mediocre Italian food at gourmet prices. The selection was limited. When we tried to substitute a different pasta as the accompaniment it took two trips to the kitchen and in the end we had to pay an extra $15 to get what we wanted. The food was VERY salty and boring. We won’t be returning.

    Service was great but didn't make up for the overcharged poor food. Tasteless and not worth it. Had to ask for different sauces to try to make it taste like something. ended up spending $40 on a plate and juice

    Savana, Oh Savana. Both my partner, Dora, and myself absolutely loved you, your attitude and your amazing service. We were a bit flustered at first and did not expect much, but oh boy oh boy were we wrong. Distillery did you ever surpass our expectations: the prawns spaghettini and the veal parmigiana AND The Best Service from Savanna. 10 out of 10. Highly Recommended

    Cute place but the server was short and very unhelpful. Her bad attitude caused us to leave. Clearly making the customers happy was not in her employee handbook. Menu is a fraction of what you see on the Open Table app. The seem to have removed most healthy items like good salads as entrees and are working on a ’Covid-conservative’ business plan 🤷‍♀️

    I love your restaurant, but terrible treatment from the racist waiter, I had to leave. Very friendly the hostess, she had to give me the menu because the waiter did not want to serve me.

    Overall, its fine. the food was pretty basic. we were there for happy hour and the menu is limited to a few options. the fried cauliflower was great. the rest was ordinary. Service was good!

    Cocktails are fabulous, service was attentive, the chandelier is to die for, the decor is great, but the food is only average. My spaghetti bolognese was so salty it was barely edible, and there wasn't enough pasta ratio. My friend's shrimp pasta was meh for flavour as well. You can dress a restaurant up but if the food isn't good, it's hard to go back.

    Great service and a lovely setting for a weekend brunch. The food was delicious, approx $20 for breakfast which is not bad value, only criticism I have is a coffee is not included, in my opinion every breakfast dish in the world should come with a cup of coffee!

    thank you for being so accommodating coming with two little dogs. The patio is great, the heaters make it cozy, the service was great as well as the food. The drinks need a touch up, but that's all.

    Food was on the bland side. Needed more flavour, sauce or something. Server was very nice, but it took me almost 10 minutes to get her attention to bring me the check. Understaffed? The most annoying thing for us was the music. It was way too loud, and the choice of super up-beat rap music didn’t really go well with the overall ambiance. Made us rush out!
