Always an amazing experience! A traditional place to enjoy!
Awesome service and great outdoor table. Thanks!
We love coming back to the Drawing Room for high tea. It is an elegant experience with quality teas and food as well as service! Love this gem in NOTL.
Was wonderful as always. The food is always so fresh and delicious. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Been a bunch of times and I’ll go back a bunch more
Disappointed in food. Sandwich bread was dry all around the edges. Deviled eggs were also dried out on top. Seemed like food was not stored/covered properly. The Drawing Room itself was a bit shabby and in need of repairs to walls. Chunks of plaster were broken off. In the past, we've always been impressed either afternoon tea. This time has me doubting I'd go back.
Absolutely an incredible experience. We came there to celebrate my daughter's 7th birthday. Shannon was a true professional. She was amazing. Service was exceptional. Thank you all for an amazing experience.
Afternoon Tea in the Drawing Room was very special. Staff treated us like royalty. Everything was delicious. It's a real shame they don't serve clotted cream with the scones as is traditional with Afternoon Tea... The Debit/Credit machine was on the fritz and other than that hickup and subsequent 15 minute wait for a manager, it was a wonderful experience. Maybe pay cash to avoid the wait.
Had a beautiful experience during our Afternoon Tea in the Drawing Room. Our server provided us with insightful recommendations and was very warm and welcoming.
This is the best place to relax enjoy some tea and treats and the staff are fabulous and very accommodating
It was a great experience, highly recommended, great services and tasty and fresh food
Very nice Sunday afternoon with my mom. First time there for both of us. Ladies serving and seating us were very nice and attentive. Food was delicious, very quiet and relaxing. Will definitely be back :)
We had a great time. The only issue was the restaurant did not have our reservation. Luckily they had room to accommodate us. I never have had that happen before. I even got the reminder text the day before and confirmed “1”. The hostess said this is not the first time they have experienced a booking issue recently. Please check into it as something is not quite working right. Thanks.
wonderful staff and accommodating menu which is very considerate
Perfect for our important celebration! Our hostess was great, with the right touch of attention and space. Great tea, loved the scones and creme fraiche. Mimosa!
Excellent food, service, and ambience. Highly recommended. Will be back.
Our server Victoria was knowledgeable and very professional.
the sandwiches were dry and disappointing choices.
Server was excellent, sandwiches were mediocre, Same old style, time to change it up
Scones are excellent and desserts are great too
We had a beautiful visit and the staff was so kind ❤️ we will be returning
We loved it! Nice time despite COVID-19! Lovely way to start off Christmas 🎄 Eve!
What a fantastic experience! The place is gorgeous, the afternoon tea spread is fantastic and the scones are freshly baked! Try the pear tea!
Samantha provided 5star service, with good recommendations and some history lessons. Well done!
Will definitely be back again!
A lovely afternoon experience during the Christmas holidays.
Very expensive. I likely won’t be going again but nice to say I had the experience
Beautiful place, delicious tea trays and the Tea Room team was so sweet and caring, they pampered our princess on her 10th Birthday so much! Thank you so much, dearest Shannon and team, with all of our hearts, and looking forward, God permitting, to come back one day again. If anyone is thinking of going there when the province opens up, please put this Tea Room experience in your list for lovely Niagara-on-the-Lake! May God bless all at the Prince of Wales Tea Room, the super cute town, and all of you, dearest, Merry Christmas, stay safe and have Hope. =)
Went to Prince of Wales for High tea with my BFF. Very strict COVID-19 protocols in place which was appreciated.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Scones were amazing. A couple of pastries not to my liking but everyone has their own tastes.
Like the variety of sandwiches they were fresh and tasty.
This was a truly magical experience at Christmas time. The decorations in the hotel are magnificent. Our server, Samantha was very knowledgeable & was extremely attentive & polite. The food served was excellent, with the scones being especially good. Loved the shortbread too. Overall, I highly recommend having afternoon tea in The Drawing Room. Book well in advance, it was fully booked that day.
Lovely afternoon tea with my sister and niece. This will be an annual tradition. It is pricey but well worth the experience. We had the Prince of Wales tea this adds a cheese plate to traditional tea. The Salmon sandwich was not my cup of tea, however the cucumber and ham sandwiches were good.
We really like the atmosphere, cleanliness, decorations and service .
I truly enjoyed my visit, the food was excellent and plenty. The service was absolutely the best. Cleanliness was A-One.
Great ambiance, would like sandwiches to be fresher, baked goods were good... expected higher end sandwiches..
Great experience for a special occasion . Sandwiches a little bland and condiments should be served in dishes not in plastic containers.
The tea , scones and desserts were delicious.
Annual Christmas Tea
A great place to unwind and enjoy a quality conversation with a partner. The place was beautiful and it took us back to the renaissance era. Food were delicious and they were creatively presented, though the food menu could have more options. Overall, a great experience.
The food and tea is so amazing. The place is so beautiful.
Went to celebrate my birthday and had a great time.
It was so romantic and a wonderful experience! I can't wait to go again
Best loke always. Happy to see that the recent situation hasn’t inpacted their service and quality. Thank you
Royal High Tea is a special experience deserving of special treatment. It's a shame that because of COVID-19, the experience has been cut back in strange ways. You go to the trouble of using the 3 tiered Sterling silver service, which is handled by chefs, bakers, servers, etc., yet cheap out on serving the butter, jam and devonshire cream in plastic take away containers like tartar sauce at a fish and chip shop. Why? Don't give me for health and safety, otherwise, why use the 3 tier service, ceramic teapots and saucers. Obvious disconnect. At 47.00 plus per person, with safety protocols, there was absolutely no need to lesson, what is otherwise, a lovely tea ritual. Unfortunately, it was the first time I took my Australian (new) husband to experience. Compared to Australia tea houses who bring your Royal Tea on a trolley complete with God Save The Queen music with all the pomp and ceremony of serving the Queen herself, it was a disappointment. And worse, shoved everyone into the sunroom rather than enjoying the beautiful Christmas decorations in the main room. Completely defeated the purpose why we came. During these times of uncertainty, all the more reason to uphold traditions...advice ditch the cheap plastic containers and serve the scone accompaniments in the proper sterling serving dishes.
For a milestone birthday celebration we ordered the Monarch with Kir Royale.
Wonderful, staff, ambience, service.
The only downfall is the devilled eggs were rather dried out looking which I would expect better especially with the price and reputation of this place. You could tell they were made previously. So simple just to make them fresh.
The Tea Room had a wonderful comfortable atmosphere. The value for the amount and quality of food was terrible. Over $300 for 2 adults and 2 Teens....for tea. This will be a "one and done".
