I haven't always loved the Farmhouse's menu but this past Sunday our food & drink was exceptional. I had a specialty egg/BLT type breakfast sandwich. My friend had the waffles. We shared French pressed coffee and she loved her Hibiscus mimosa. Our server was excellent - she gave us the right amount of attention and was very personable as well. I will come back

What a great place! Our food was so good and fresh! Our table ordered the sausage omelet, shrimp and grits, and the chicken fried steak and grits, and one extra biscuit. The biscuit was the best one I've ever eaten and the grits were so good too! Yum!

Didn’t hate it but didn’t love it. The food is not bad but also not great. Our server seemed pretty impatient with us and pushy. The cinnamon rolls are big but dry even though they are smothered in icing. I won’t rush back but also won’t protest if a friend wants to go. Can summarize by saying it’s meh.

It’s so tough to find food that’s good quality these days but Farmhouse puts emphasis on local farm-to-table cuisine and inventive recipes. Delicious. Our new favorite.

Ordered eggs over medium and they came back runny. They remade them for me but they were runny again and no one asked. I just got a bill. It was okay but there are way better places in KC to eat. And coffee was $7.

The cancer grilled cheese was amazing, and my tablemate said the Rueben was excellent. Service was friendly and willing to give recommendations.

The inside is super charming. The outside patio leaves a little to be desired. I would not opt to sit out there again. The amazing food made up for it. The best house-made butter and jam!!! Very fresh ingredients all around. Loved the eggs Benedict!

We were seated quickly and the service was excellent. The food was cooked to perfection and there were a variety of breakfast options. I chose the surf and turf, but we also had the French toast, chicken fried steak and eggs benedict. All were tasty, well cooked and excellent on flavor.

We made our first visit to the farmhouse it will not be our last. Great service and the food was top notch. I had the eggs Benedict. We shared an amazing fresh cinnamon roll and my husband loved everything about his chicken fried steak- especially the gravy!

The food was very good but the service was very poor. Our server was also serving at the bar and this made our interactions like taking our order in a timely manner few and far between. She also liked to throw the dishes that needed cleaning down in the bin behind the bar hard and scare everyone in the process with the loud crash. This happened numerous times in the 60+ minutes we ate there.

They were short staffed so the service wasn’t great although everyone was super nice and apologetic. The food was very good but lukewarm at best (probably sat there a while before it was brought to our table). Good but could be better!

Not only were they able to accommodate 15 of us at 11:30, they also were able to accommodate our “rush” schedule. We were able to order, eat & pay quickly & get our group on their way. Food was amazing (as always) and drinks were great too! Will be back!

I will always recommend making a reservation when it comes to The Farmhouse but you could always try your hand a last minute seating if you call ahead? Whatever you do, don't miss out on whatever bakery offering they have available, they bake those items in house. Last few times I was there it was a specialty donut, this time it was a magnificent flaky chocolate croissant. Their specials menu is updated weekly and this visit (like the other 3) did not disappoint. I order the steak benedict entrée, which had an amazing kale situation on top of the bread. My friend ordered a short stack of fluffy pancakes. Can't wait to come back and be wowed by their special menu next time.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!!! Our server was so nice!!!! and even though we we’re almost like 30 min late because of finding parking but we called ahead to let them know and we still got in immediately!! 💜💜 The food was soooo good!!! And we both had their house cold brew which was DELICIOUS!!!!! 10/10 recommend visiting if you’re in KC!
