We made our first visit to the farmhouse it will not be our last. Great service and the food was top notch. I had the eggs Benedict. We shared an amazing fresh cinnamon roll and my husband loved everything about his chicken fried steak- especially the gravy!

The food was very good but the service was very poor. Our server was also serving at the bar and this made our interactions like taking our order in a timely manner few and far between. She also liked to throw the dishes that needed cleaning down in the bin behind the bar hard and scare everyone in the process with the loud crash. This happened numerous times in the 60+ minutes we ate there.

They were short staffed so the service wasn’t great although everyone was super nice and apologetic. The food was very good but lukewarm at best (probably sat there a while before it was brought to our table). Good but could be better!

Not only were they able to accommodate 15 of us at 11:30, they also were able to accommodate our “rush” schedule. We were able to order, eat & pay quickly & get our group on their way. Food was amazing (as always) and drinks were great too! Will be back!

I will always recommend making a reservation when it comes to The Farmhouse but you could always try your hand a last minute seating if you call ahead? Whatever you do, don't miss out on whatever bakery offering they have available, they bake those items in house. Last few times I was there it was a specialty donut, this time it was a magnificent flaky chocolate croissant. Their specials menu is updated weekly and this visit (like the other 3) did not disappoint. I order the steak benedict entrée, which had an amazing kale situation on top of the bread. My friend ordered a short stack of fluffy pancakes. Can't wait to come back and be wowed by their special menu next time.

The breakfast was AMAZING!!!! Our server was so nice!!!! and even though we we’re almost like 30 min late because of finding parking but we called ahead to let them know and we still got in immediately!! 💜💜 The food was soooo good!!! And we both had their house cold brew which was DELICIOUS!!!!! 10/10 recommend visiting if you’re in KC!

Saturday morning visit was pretty good. Seated right at our reservation time, drink service was good. Friendly staff but just over a half hour wait for a table of 2 from ordering to receiving- table next to us was turned over and received their cooked meals while we were still waiting- only adding this in case anyone is on a schedule. Highly recommend the Ham Benny. One cinnamon roll looked like it could feed a group of 4 easy!

What a great brunch! Food was great. Had the spinach eggs Benedict and spouse the special, don’t recall the name, but had poached egg, barbacoa and corn papusas. Eggs poached to perfection. Both arrived warm and delicious. Sometimes poached eggs are lukewarm. French press coffee delicious. Service spot on, quick, efficient and pleasant. This is definitely a go to brunch place.

The Farmhouse was recommended to us by a friend and I'm so glad they did. The food was so good- my husband had the corned beef hash and I had the chicken and biscuits. The corned beef hash was amazing, especially the cream sauce it has with it. The biscuits from the chicken and biscuits almost melt in your mouth. You can tell everything is made from scratch. One of my favorite things was that if you order coffee, you get a full french press to yourself. Overall, 10/10 for sure.

The Farmhouse had a welcoming and enjoyable vibe. On our reservation I had requested three glasses of Champagne to be brought to the table when we arrived an it was such a wonderful surprise to my mother and sister. Our waiter was on top of everything and the kitchens food was absolutely delicious. Thank you for making our girls weekend a success!

I had breakfast(Brunch) on Sunday and had the specials: Smoked salmon benedict and the Strawberry & Cream Empanada, both of which were delicious. With the Smoked salmon benedict, you just get the Benedict without other accompanying sides, so if you have a large appetitie, that's something to consider.

It was ok. I didn’t care for my cocktail but my husband liked his. I asked for ham in my omelette but they didn’t add it. I wasn’t able to tell the server because she was so busy and didn’t check on us until way later. The potatoes that came with mine we super dry, not seasoned, and over cooked. My husbands hash said it came with gravy, but it was so loose it was more like gravy soup. His zucchini wasn’t cooked all the way. Both meals were pretty expensive and we didn’t finish either. Everyone was nice enough and the food was edible, but for how much we paid we could have eaten at home several times over.

I was SO excited to try The Farmhouse after reading the reviews and perusing the menu. Unfortunately, our food took a very long time to come out and was cold when it did. Our server said there was an issue and the manager came over and comped our drinks, but the experience was disappointing. I am planning on dining there again, as I'm hopeful this was a anomaly!

From the moment we walked in the ambience was wonderful. The host was pleasant and our bartender/ waitress Taylor was the BEST. The food was out of this world awesome. The Bloody Mary’s with the infused vodka perfecto. Wish I wasn’t so far away or The Farmhouse would be our go to place. Thank you Taylor for a wonderful experience. Jones gang from Texas.
