Not what I expected. Over 2 hours for dinner. (2 courses took dessert to go.) Waitress was over worked but she did the best she could. Food was good but nothing new or different. No specials. View at sunset was beautiful but not worth the meal.

Dined on the patio. Sound of waterfall in the distance. Wonderful ambiance. Halibut was outstanding. The service was professional and friendly. A most enjoyable evening.

Sitting outdoors at sunset at the Flying V is a Tucson experience not to be missed, even when you live here like we do! Add in the great food and wonderful service and you get the perfect evening!

We dined twice at the Flying V. Both times service was awesome. We were very disappointed with our dinners. The baby back ribs were way overdone, not at all juicy, nearly meatless (from a skinny pig?), & the caramelization was way past the point of yumminess—let’s face It, they were burnt. The bowl of guacamole was tasty, but at $18 was ridiculously overpriced (however, the chips were light & tasty). Breakfast was surprisingly yummy, but like most everything was overpriced. The breaky menu was neither online, nor posted, nor even available at the front desk. Dining on the patio was lovely. And again, service for both meals was awesome.

My family and I had a delicious dinner on the patio. The filet and rib-eye steaks, as well as the salmon and halibut dishes were superb. Desserts ordered were churros and creme brûlée and were very tasty. We look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Tucson.

My friends and I went there to eat on Friday night. The service was slow and the filets were full of gristle. The horseradish potatoes looked like 6 small hard marbles and had no horseradish flavor, the mashed potatoes were fine. Then the waitress rang all 3 orders in wrong, I guess she mixed up the credit cards and now we have to wait 2 days to get that sorted out as she was unable to cancel her error. I felt like we got the “B” team. I had been there 2weeks ago and had a wonderful experience
