The service was fine for the first 15 minutes. Then it got very crowded. You are severely understaffed. There was one waiter for the whole upstairs area. We weren’t even asked if we wanted another drink. When our dessert was served which was crème brulee we weren’t even given spoons to eat it with. It sat there for at least ten minutes and was ice cold when we finally were able to flag someone down for spoons. That and our cappuccino were ice cold. Considering the prices you charge you really have to work on your customer service. We will not be coming back.
Great food and great drinks!
Great food. We tried apps and meal. Got the skirt steak and scallops and they were great. A bit of slower service but that’s expected nowadays with the shortage. Friendly staff and clean restaurant.
My great experience started with a warm fresh piece of bread with herbed butter. It was uphill from there with a delicious mixed green salad and a halibut entree. So glad we chose Frog & the Peach for our Anniversary celebration. Reasonable pricing for the high quality and taste of the food.
We are having our sons rehearsal dinner there in January. I wanted to take my future daughter-in-law’s parents there to show them how wonderful the place is, and how exceptional the food is. The restaurant totally exceeded our expectations once again. We love this place. We can’t wait to come back.
Great brunch and great service. Unique wine parings and beautifully presented food.
I have been going to the F&P for over 30 years but first time for brunch. It was fantastic - a nice selection of options for food (both breakfast and lunch options) and drinks. The food and service was great as always.
Anticipated Valet parking; there was none and parking was IMPOSSIBLE.
Service for drinks very slow.
Food; ok portions were smaller than expected.
maître d Allesandro graciously assisted with parking as there is no vallet service. Bartender was not attentive, hostess did not seat my party at the reserved time and subsequently sat us in the atrium, adorned with plastic uncomfortable chairs. Tuna appetizer serving the size of a marshmallow and zataar with hummus was pita with sliced green olives. Waitress was gracious and attentive. Frog and the Peach is not a destination nor is New Brunswick NJ.
My wife and I decided to visit for our 15th wedding anniversary . It did not disappoint!!! The food was exceptional with perfect pairings of flavors that excited the pallet, the service was superb and the ambiance made for a romantic night out for my wife and I!!!
We had the taste of Germany tasting dinner with the wine pairing. The food was excellent and the service was great. There was an explanation with each wine and it was very helpful. Would have liked to do the beer pairing as well but one can only drink so much.
Interesting menu. Nice, attentive staff. Really neat ambiance.
There is no finer restaurant in all of New Jersey. The food is always the star; add some wine from one of the best cellars ever and you're in dining heaven.
Always a favorite! Beautiful restaurant with delicious local food and warm lovely service. Just go!
The food was exceptional, service was wonderful and ambience was lovely.
We meet here when we hook up with our jersey friends.
Came here for the Sunday brunch. It was excellent.
My guest and I really enjoyed the night with Live Jazz. It was our first time at TFTP. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed with guests, without not to compromised much the service. The food was great, the option of 3 courses meals was amazing. The beverages pairing was perfect. I would say that surely I am returning back sooner. Special thanks to chef Bruce for calling me to check on me and the guests giving us good advice to get there earlier, you saved the night. I really appreciated that.
Everything was delicious! Beautiful atmosphere. Very accommodating and attentive.
The food and drink was outstanding! The environment is very nice as well. But the service was so bad. It took forever to place orders and receive our drinks and/ or food. Like everyplace else, they appear to be very shorthanded in help.
The food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding. Would definitely go back again soon!
Always a great experience at The Frog and the Peach. Enjoyed the 5 course German Tasting menu at the bar. Always a unique and creative combination of ingredients coupled with beautiful presentation.
This is one of my favorite restaurants and I have never been disappointed. Serrano pepper infused vodka and passion fruit cocktail was amazing. Tuna sashimi and scallops were just perfect. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.
I booked the reservation to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The restaurant was very accommodating with my group and I even though there were unforeseen delays causing most of the group to arrive late to the reservation. My friends loved the experience and are already talking about when we should visit again. I only remembered to take photos of my entre and dessert because we ate the starters up before I could remember to take a photo.
If there was one word to describe the Frog and Peach experience, it would be harmony.
I’ve been wanting to come here since I started my career cooking in New Brunswick. The name loomed over the town like a culinary titan, and I finally got to understand why: every inch of the place, every piece of food, every glass of wine, somehow seemingly not only fit together, but even more so, complimented each other.
It was my first fine dining experience since the pandemic, and while it had been awhile, it was made all the more special since.
Chef Bruce brought out the first course, and to my dismay I couldn’t say anything- for a lowly line cook in New Brunswick, it was like meeting Elvis and I was thoroughly gobsmacked. It was like a 1-2 punch from mike Tyson: the first being the man, and the second being the food.
The black truffle ricotta gnocchi was a thoroughly raucous, brazen carnival of textures, flavors, and aroma. It was not unmatched by the tuna sashimi, with an extraordinarily understated, but flawlessly executed plating. Both of these dishes could have just as easily been on the tables of the finest restaurants anywhere in the world, and yet they found their home in New Brunswick, to which I will be indelibly grateful.
Then the entree came, and everything was immediately, albeit, temporarily, forgotten: a perfectly seared duck breast, subtly cross hatched and tastefully rendered, with black rice, kimchi, and a duck confit spring roll.
I was hooked before I even took a bite.
It was French execution with Asian refinement wrapped into one, and the seemingly effortless finesse of playing the two off each other left me speechless. This is a dish one must experience for themselves if they are to understand what I’m talking about.
In simple, easy conclusion- if you are someone who doesn’t go to church but wants to know what Mecca feels like, this is your ticket.
Love this place ! Thanks for making my Grandmothers birthday special.
The Frog and the Peach never disappoints and always a great evening out. Food on point, our server was amazing. Skirt steak and beet salad were the truth. Thank you for a lovely date night!
as always wonderful attentive staff and I enjoyed the German Beer/Wine pairings !
Food & service were wonderful. Nice outdoor space
The food was great and the outdoor dining was delightful!
One of my favorite restaurants. Delicious food and excellent service by the staff. Highly recommend brunch!
I eat here often and am never disappointed. My favorite place for Sunday brunch
It’s always a great time at The Frog. I have thoroughly enjoyed the dishes on the current, summer menu. While I’m not someone to care one way or the other about customer service, the workers there really go above and beyond and know their stuff. Shout out to Alejandro.
Three of us were meeting for an early Friday evening dinner. Parking was surprisingly easy on the street. We were seated promptly in a garden room, however the hostess came out shortly there after to tell us that we had an hour and 15 minutes before our table needed to be vacated. I looked at her in shock after having driven over an hour to get to a restaurant for which I had made a reservation. She quickly backtracked and assured me that they would do everything to make sure we had sufficient time to dine. As it turned out we dined for almost 3 hours with no time issue. The food was absolutely wonderful. The peach and duck confit appetizer were a delicious tribute to the season. The gnocchi with black truffle was equally sublime. I ventured to have a seemingly overly simple dish cacio e Pepe. And it was absolutely the perfect bite. Desserts were an equally enjoyable finish to the evening. The wait staff with charming but not intrusive. It’s no surprise that this restaurant has been rated so highly for so long.
I've been here before and was disappointed with yesterday's lunch. As normal the service and ambiance were very good. I was not impressed by the thick cut pastrami, named "short ribs." Should permanently remove this item from the lunch menu.
No vegan choices
I went here for Brunch while visiting my daughter at Rutgers. The atmosphere is excellent inside and out. The brunch menu was small and they did not offer a children's menu for lunch and I have a 6 year girl as well. We ordered the bacon beignet as an appetizer they were small but tasty. My older daughter ordered the Ham sandwich which came with Eukofries. She really enjoyed it and seemed to be very filling. I ordered the French toast which was very small they put the filling on the side, it came with 2 small pieces which seemed like it came from one piece of thick bread. It was very good but for 21 dollars you would think it would be much more on the plate. I had one Peach bellini that did not taste like a Bellini . The service was good. We payed 125 with tip for which i think is an expensive brunch.
I would try again but not for little ones. They asked for a suggestion I said add a kids menu to Sunday brunch.
A great place for Sunday Brunch - everything was on target!
This is a beautiful and intimate restaurant with delicious food
They never disappoint! Outstanding food and service.
The gnocchi and tuna appetizers were so amazing. Skirt steak and scallop entrees as well. Absolutely perfect.
