   The whiskey flight, and the knowledge of the person serving it to us was extremely good. Our actual waiter was pretty much a no-show though, and we kept having to interrupt other waiters to get our order taken, get our check, etc. we would go back, but only for the whiskey service. The food was just fine but nothing remarkable. We had several entrée appetizers, sides, and the chop salad as our entrée. We also had the round ice cube made at our table, which is worth visiting the restaurant for in itself..

   This was our first visit to The Gladly. We went during Restaurant Week. The restaurant was bright and attractive. The bar area looked very inviting. This time we sat at a table and found the wooden chairs to be really uncomfortable. We were excited to try the food. The burrata appetizer was just ok - it could have used more flavor (specifically, more tomato), and additional toast. The chopped salad was excellent, but the portion for RW was very small. The salmon dish was phenomenal - fresh fish, great texture, flavor, and combination with the brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. The scallop dish was just ok. There were only 3 large scallops, which were fresh and cooked appropriately, but here too, the dish lacked flavor. The whiskey bread pudding had a good flavor, but both in the party who ordered it, said it was a slice of bread that was more like french toast. My brownie also had a good flavor, but it was so hard, it almost flipped off the table several times as I tried to cut a piece. Our server was outstanding - a highlight of the experience! Overall, we were not as impressed as I expected to be given reviews I've read.

    Started with CHOPPED SALAD (wonderful as always) and a GREEN CHILE AND SEAFOOD SOUP, which was out of this world great. Main course was PORK CHOP, which my wife found a little bit dry and SCALLOPS, which I absolutely loved. There were 3 nice, plump scallops that were perfectly prepared over a bed of grits. Our dessert was a tasty WHITE CHOCOLATE BOMBA. As usual, The Gladly served an excellent dinner.

    We were here for restaurant week. The food was decent. Chopped salad is always great. The service was inconsistent. Server was distracted and was inattentive. That alone made the experience one that would lead me to suggest folks look elsewhere. Not sure if this is a server issue or a management one (maybe the server had too many tables). Regardless, I don’t recommend the Gladly.

    Long time since we've been to The Gladly but we will return soon. We went during restaurant week by mistake but because we were wanting to eat lighter we ordered off the regular menu..we appreciated that option! Our dinner was very good, our server was pleasant & accommodating & the ambiance fun!

    The Gladly has excellent food, but our server was rude and inattentive and it was the slowest experience I’ve ever had there even though we arrived at 5 when the restaurant was mostly empty. I expect much better service given the prices.

    Service was very friendly and attentive. Noise level was very light but we went early. They have a great selection of cocktails. We had happy hour snacks and drinks and then the veggie entree for our meal. Excellent.

    The Gladly is an upscale neighborhood restaurant. It is lively, tables are well spaced and the food is outstanding! Our table shared the spiced nuts appetizer and the sausage, pretzel and cheese plate. Most ordered the salmon entree, which received high marks; I had the seared scallops which were cooked to perfection. The server was knowledgeable and attentive, and overall, we had a delightful experience.

    My Steak Salad was excellent. My colleague had the chicken sandwich because you had sweet pickles on the burger. Maybe offer regular pickles as well.
