As always, service was delightful and food was delicious. Due to COVID distancing and vacant downtown, restaurant was empty and thus, very quiet.

Noise level is always a challenge here, but the meal was fantastic!

I would recommend. the service was slow, receiving our drink. Extremely loud when we first got there.

Green Bean consistently presents with great service and food. I’ve enjoyed every meal I’ve ever had, and my dining partners have always agreed. I’d recommend it to anyone for a business lunch or just casual get together with friends.

For the price, there is no wonder why it is not full.

I frequently dine at the Green Bean for lunch. The service is prompt and pleasant and the food is outstanding. Christine is a remarkable server who remembers my name and my "usual order". The staff at friendly and welcoming - it is a lovely dining experience!

I saw on the open table menu that Green Bean had turkey pot pie. When I arrived, the menu was somewhat different and there was no pot pie. It was disappointing. My alternative was a pretty expensive salad with chicken.

Service was great! The salmon was cooked perfectly!!

A few friends went to the Green Bean to celebrate a belated birthday this week and had a tremendous experience. The food was fantastic, apparently there is a new chef. I had the Caesar Salad with Blackened Salmon, it was delicious. My girlfriend had the Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp which she also loved. The gentleman in the crowd had the Beef Dip with Fries & Gravy, there wasn't a drop left on his plate either.

Our server was fast, efficient and courteous. It was a big noisy in the restaurant, likely due to the fact that seating was almost at capacity.

We will be back.

The Green Bean was an excellent choice for lunch with business associates. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and we enjoyed the high-top seating located by the bar. Try the Caesar Salad with your choice of protein, it was absolutely delicious. Love the dressing!

A perfect spot, for great food at reasonable prices.
I would like to request that they get high chairs and change tables for those with young kids.

Good little restaurant downtown Calgary. Nice selection of healthy food on the menu, and easy enough to get a reservation on a Friday.

Went for breakfast. Over priced for what you get. Plate was over loaded with 'hash brown's' to fill the space. Poor service from unfriendly staff. Won't be back. Left feeling hungry. Back to Sonoma on 9th Ave next time I want breakfast.

I eat at The Green Bean at least two times per month and have for the past three years. I have never been disappointed. The service is supreme and the food is some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I am always impressed!

While the interior is a bit cold and stark, the service is always friendly and the food is always excellent.

Very fast service and attentive to water top-ups. Best part was very delicious food. Green Bean never disappoints. Must be best value lunch in downtown. Fresh, large portions for a very reasonable price.

It's almost always very loud but the reason I went there was for the cob salad which they no longer have on thier menu so I was disappointed as were my 3 friends as I had told them we had to go there for that salad. Waitress was fine but new so one persons gravy was missed initially. The other 3 people said that thier food was salty and my salad was just ok. If they bring back the cob salad I will go back as it is close to my office.

I used to be a regular at this restaurant. They have changed the menu and all my favourite foods are gone. The Cobb Salad, Salmon, and the Portabella mushroom burger. Some of the servers are great.

It was a magnificent, warm day. We sat on the patio. You can hear the traffic but it wasn't too bad.
The food was ok, not spectacular. I had the cajun salmon and my colleauge had the steak sandwich.

I love this place mostly for the patio. However I am very sad that they have removed their salmon fillet from the menu. You can throw it on a salad but it's not the same.

My friend and I ordered salads for lunch. They were both very filling and the ingredients were fresh and original. We loved them. Definitely will be back again!

We went on May 15, the first really nice day after the never-ending winter and chose to sit outside. Service was very good, attentive but not obtrusive. One disappointment though, we wanted to order calamari for appy, was told the menu was being changed and the calamari was unavailable. We ordered the spring rolls and they were OK, not great or outstanding. I had the turkey pot pie, it was pretty good. My friend had the fish and chips, she really enjoyed it. With the weather, the food and the service, overall a very good experience.

We really liked the atmosphere, we had a good lunch and the service was excellent.
Making the reservation was easy and the restaurant could accommodate to all our requirements.

The food here is always great, and the service was very good. We were able to eat our lunch and return to work for 1:00. This restaurant is one of the best options on the west side of Calgary's downtown.

Green Bean serves a great breakfast. Menu has typical breakfast items and healthy options. Service and food is consistently good when I visit.

Decent food, though they are a bit slow. Service is average (I think they’re a bit complacent with service because there’s little competition nearby).
It’s WAY too loud in there...generally only go there if I can’t get a table anywhere else.

A girlfriend and I met for lunch and both had salads. My choice was the Cobb Salad which was massive and delicious. My girlfriend had the Caesar Salad with Blackened Chicken and spoke very highly of the dish. The Green Bean is a regular lunch location for me due to the fact that they consistently deliver high quality meals in a prompt manner allowing for the limitations of a normal 1 hour lunch timeframe.

Excellent food and service - the acoustics are poor, however, it is difficult to conduct a conversation when the restaurant is full.

Food was bad, reheated chicken and mashed potatoes, likely from a catering job the night before. The salmon sandwich was too salty as well.

Food is fantastic. I have been coming with my friends for a few years during the summer so we can sit out on the patio, birthdays and Christmas lunch. Love everything about this gem from service to food. Thank you.

This restaurant was located perfectly to have easy access for all participants. Service fast and food was great. Lots of variety and the daily salmon special was fantastic. Have another meeting next week and we will be going there for lunch.
