The Greene Oak is a contemporary 1 AA Rosette pub and restaurant in the heart of Oakley Green near Windsor in Berkshire. Taking hospitality back to it's roots with a warm welcome from our genuinely friendly team, gastronomic experiences showcasing outstanding suppliers and produce but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.
The Greene Oak prides itself on offering a diverse selection of wines, beers, cask ales and ciders. Our carefully selected wine list offers an accessible range of bottles to suit all tastes and dishes and don't worry if you are driving, we have an extensive lo and no alcohol list too.
There is a large garden and terrace which is covered and has heaters, with two horse boxes for the perfect unique dining experience. There is ample parking and dogs are very welcome in the bar.

    A really nice pub that serves great food. A real treat to not visit a pub that has the same menu as others in the area. The cauliflower steak is a great vegetarian option and far more imaginative than the standard vegetarian burger offered at a lot of pubs and restaurants. We were served by Katie who was great! We will definitely visit again

    The food was very good with especially well cooked fish. The table service was helpful and sociably pleasant. Noise levels varied but we were helped to find a table which was not too noisy.

    Nice relaxed atmosphere at this country pub. Menu looked great and the quality of the food was very good. The chips that came with my fish and chips were the highlight of the meal.

    Front of house was warm and welcoming, starters and main course looked and tasted amazing. The deserts were a great end to an amazing experience. Staff were friendly and attentive and we loved the ambiance. 5 stars!

    Have been a customer since you first became the Green Oak. Also had two family wakes with you. Last nights meal was the worst ever. Luke warm fish no choice of side veggies other than cabbage. Wine was good

    The service was quite leisurely but very good, allow plenty of time. I particularly enjoyed my celeriac starter and plaice and cockle main course. Set lunch is good value.One of my favourite local pubs.

    I enjoyed the venue/good service etc. My Client and I both had steaks, mine no chips, replaced with mushrooms. Cost including tip £140 I was very ill later that afternoon, ? mushrooms.

    We have dined with you many times, and although the staff members change, they are always very welcoming and friendly, while still doing a perfect service. I love the different additions to the food… I haven’t seen imaginative dishes like yours in any other restaurant… well done!

    Heard this was the best around however I didn't find that to be the case the trimmings were nice however the beef wasn't very nice and had a funny taste, I have had better around for a cheaper price

    Had a perfect beef roast. They catered to me preferring medium well. The cauliflower cheese and pigs in blankets are a great addition. The only thing I miss is the chicken skin butter they used to serve with their delicious sourdough starter.

    Delightful place, well worth the short jaunt from Windsor Castle. We had the 3 course lunch menu with Roast Duck & Hamburger with chips as mains - both were simply delicious & reasonably priced.

    We visited as was staying at a hotel near by, hands down the best roast I’ve ever had! Delicious! Kids portions were amazing, food was tasty and lots of it! Every member of staff went out of their way to be nice, attentive and kind! Wish we lived locally as would visit again! Thank you!
