    We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and everyone went above and beyond to make our day extra special. Our server, Paul, was simply amazing and increíble, the food was delicious, everything was perfect! Thank you all!

    Wonderful dinner in a calm and serene ambiance, perfect to decompress from our entire day traveling. The portions were perfect! My only recommendation would be to have warm bread brought to the table instead of cold, would truly elevate the experience to the Fairmont’s standards.

    We made reservations and we're happy our table was ready when we arrived. Our server was kind, friendly, & helpful. The food we ordered were all delicious. The drinks we ordered were great.

    My friends and I had a great dinner at the grill room. The service was excellent and the good was good. We shared a couple of meals and the steak was mediocre. We asked it to be medium and it came out medium rare. My friends ate a few pieces, but I couldn't stomach it. We didn't ask for it to be taken back and re grilled, because it would of probably come back well done. Overall we had a good time, but I personally wouldn't go back.

    My wife and I enjoyed a really good meal there for our anniversary. The steaks were delicious and the desert was amazing. Terrific service from Ben, our waiter, and overall a great experience!!

    We love this place and always stay at the Fairmont when in Whistler. We loved the ambiance, service and the food here. Started with the Oysters and they were fantastic! The wine selection was amazing, the menu selection was great and the portions were good. We all ordered different mains and shared several sided and left satisfied. Definitely recommend the Grill Room if you're looking for a fine dine experience.

    Amazing, unique food. Service was tremendous. Maddie was one of the best servers I have ever had. She made our visit very memorable and special. The entry to the hotel and the restaurant are amazing architecture. So comfortable and warm. There was a large party who was really loud and a little obnoxious. That would be my only negative and ther is nothing the restaurant can do about that.

    We had the four course meal. The ambiance, food, and staff were great. I would love to see their menu offerings online. The restaurant was not open at time of the reservation. We did not know the available options until we got seated.

    coming from 30 plus years in the industry from the highest end to perhaps the lowest I know great service when I see it and that's exactly what we got once again at the famous whistler Fairmount from the host at the door to Maddie our brilliant server at THE GRILLROOM about dinner , I felt like splurging on the TIGNELLO which I thought was the star of the show however when Maddie along with her table side manor and knowledge on all things food and fun quickly took centre stage ,, I applaud you. Just 5star all around, my hats off to the host and tenders we dealt with on our beautiful retreat ,, we had such a great time we just booked our 7 year anniversary nov26 . truly a unique and favourable experience 5 stars to the chateaux sincerely the goldsmiths

    We had an amazing evening for our anniversary. Was seated right by the fireplace and Paul our server took fantastic care of us the whole evening. The table side tomato gin soup was fabulous and highly recommend! Will definitely return.

    I was really excited to dine at The Grill room. Although, I am a regular at Wildflower and Portobello, this is my first time dining at the Grill room. I have high expectations. The service was impeccable. The ambience was classy. My favourite was the pudding desert. I was disappointed with the 14 Rib eye steak. It was small for an 14 oz and worst it was very chewy and the sauce tasted differently. Maybe next time, if I will be back, will order Fish. The value is comparable to other Whistler Fine Dining Restaurants.

    Had a great meal, although there weren’t that many tables occupied. The food was great and the service (thank you, Adam) was excellent (the card trick was unbelievable). Loved our pre- dinner drinks in the Mallard Lounge.

    The food at the Grill Room was excellent. We had steaks, grilled perfectly and the mushrooms as side were delicious. The wine list has a good selection of wines, but the prices are quite high. Overall a very, nice dinner.

    The service was probably the best I have experienced in years. Our waiter was not just knowledgeable but very personable, friendly, thoughtful, and funny. He made the already delicious meal we have come to expect at the Grill Room that much more memorable. It was my daughter’s birthday and he simply made her feel special. It was an honor. All this even before I remark in the food! Suffice it to say, it will be remembered for the high quality fare along with the ambience and overall feeling of pampering. Thanks again Grill Room!

    Great dining experience at the Grill Room, atmosphere and steaks were very good ! Maddie was a great server with us and was able to help us with good recommendations ! The Aligot Purée and the Beef Tenderloin were delicious too !
