The Menu Choice was excellent with options in both a la carte and Spring Special prix fixe. All courses arrived promptly and had been prepared to an excellent level which met and exceeded all expectations. A truly excellent meal which was enjoyed and appreciated by both my Wife and myself. We Highly Recommend the Grill Room.

The food and experience were amazing, especially the Tomato Gin Soup and the Strawberry Flambé! Chris did an outstanding job serving us and preparing those amazing at table features! All of the food - sable fish and the 30 oz T-Bone were amazing. Can’t wait to return! Many thanks to the Chefs, Chris, and your team!!

I recently dined at The Grill Room in Fairmont Whistler, and overall, it was a decent experience. The service was outstanding—the waitstaff was attentive and made sure all of our needs were met throughout the meal. However, when it came to the steaks, I was left underwhelmed. I ordered the sirloin, and while it was prepared well, the quality of the cut didn’t quite match the price point. Compared to other steakhouses, it felt a bit lacking in both texture and overall value. On the other hand, the dessert was the real standout. The presentation, flavor, and overall execution were excellent, making it one of the most memorable parts of the meal. However, the portion sizes were on the smaller side, which left me wanting a bit more. Overall, while the meal had some great moments, I’m not sure it fully justified the price. The exceptional service and dessert stood out, but the steak—the main attraction—didn’t quite meet my expectations.
