   There seemed to be a staffing issue that affected service. My suggestion is to let patrons know this when they are checking in at hostess desk to set expectation. We spent 2 hours at lunch for what should a one hour experience and were late for our next engagement.

   Exceptional Sunday Brunch! Upon arrival, our Family received a warm "welcome home" from Ross and Troy. These gentlemen/ambassadors truly set the stage for a delightful Sunday Family outing at Windsor Court Hotel. Miss Helen's graceful welcome to The Grill Room is always special. Miss Helen always does her best to secure our favorite table. Our Family always looks forward to seeing and catching up with Helen. At our table, Miss Katarina is always a delightful presence. Katarina's menu knowledge and guidance is always spot-on!! Our Family appreciated Miss Katarina's efforts that went above and beyond to secure a much treasured off-the-menu item....Thank You!! With respect to cuisine; Our Family enjoyed everything from Beignets to Crescent City Egg Whites, Florentine Benedict, Brioche French Toast and Belgian Waffle. Each was delicious!! Hats off to the entire Windsor Court Team for creating yet another Wonderful Family visit to WCH!! Job Well Done!

   Always lovely, great food, gracious service however it was quite slow this time. The server was bringing one drink over at a time with 5 mins in between which was a bit strange however it was still a wonderful dining experience!

   Excellent service, consistent with Windsor Court generally. Portion sizes—especially for sides—were shockingly small: a single scallop, mashed potatoes so small we had to order two servings. Asparagus side was really disappointing—more form over function: white for dramatic effect, but literally tasteless. Food generally wasn’t as warm as one would expect eating at the restaurant—reminiscent of delivery food. Overall disappointing given the price point.

    This place is wonderful. We had brunch here on Saturday, then loved it so much we are again on Sunday. The decor, ambiance, service and food are all excellent. In terms of dress, there was a large spectrum of attire. We had our two kids, 8 and 11, and felt completely comfortable there. It was our sons birthday, and as a treat they gave him beignets!

    Lovely spot, especially if you can get a window view of the courtyard. Very friendly staff. The special plate lunch menu/pricing is a bargain. And don't pass up the $5 dirty martini!

    The whole experience at the Grill Room was exceptional! The wonderful hostess greeted us upon arrival and asked us if we were celebrating anything. We were seated promptly, our server was very attentive and the service we received was impeccable. The food and drinks were very good and each person in our party celebrating an achievement received an plate of 5 beautifully decorated chocolate covered strawberries.     Windsor Court never disappoints! Our meal at the Grill room was excellent. Our server - Kenneth was superb and an absolute professional in presenting the menu. Great service and atmosphere. Music was great. Helen, the hostess was gracious and kind. Our experience was wonderful and a reminder of what good service used to be. And the meal was 5 stars!

    This is an amazing restaurant. It is expensive, and I wouldn’t recommend it for young children, but if you are looking for a romantic evening in a beautiful setting with wonderful food, this restaurant is definitely worth considering.

    I love celebrating here for a birthday brunch! The band will come to the table and sing happy birthday to you. One thing I wish is that they update their menu as much as they can because I would rave about an item they have and come a couple months later and it won’t be on the menu. Also, I don’t think they do bottomless mimosas anymore :( But nothing on the menu disappoints!

    The Grill Room is a beautiful facility, with ambience, a beautiful view of the courtyard and offers a great value for their lunch menu. However, our food was served moderately warm, having cooled before the end of the meal. The quality and flavor were exceptional. We did not complain, but, when asked by our waiter, we mentioned the temperature of our food. He offered to provide fresh dishes, but our meal was finished; so, we declined. He was pleasant, at first & conciliatory, but, after clearing our table he became more curt & abrupt. He was tipped accordingly. It was our first negative experience at The Grill Room.

    The food should have been amazing for the price, but it was just okay. I ordered the crawfish and andouille omelette....6 out of 10. May date got the steak and eggs....maybe a 6.5 out of 10. The mimosas were very small for $13 as well. Otherwise, the staff and atmosphere was very nice.

    We’re locals, and I worked fine dining for several years under a James Beard award winning chef, so we don’t mind spending money on great food. This was such a disappointment. First, what happened to a dress code? We sat next to someone who was wearing a sweatshirt, dirty sneakers, hair not even combed, clearly had slept in this “outfit”. We had early reservations, so only a handful of guests were seated, keep this in mind. Our red wine, while being poured, spilled a bit which I wiped up myself, no napkin around the neck of the bottle which would prevent this. Crab bisque was cold and tasted like crab and shrimp boil with only a teaspoon of crabmeat (NOT even LUMP!). Both entrees (duck and filet) also served cold. Duck breast was tough with no flavor to speak of, and grilled asparagus wasn’t grilled at all ( looked steamed). Apple almond tart, there are few words here, was so hard we could barely scoop a bite, then, when we did, terrible. We also had our still water topped with sparkling. Again, we were one of perhaps 3 to 4 other tables, none of which were over two people. Suite service food was also cold. While the servers themselves were friendly, this is unacceptable for the price tag. What happened to the Windsor??

    After a hard week of work, the Friday lunch at the Grill Room was just what my wife and I needed. The setting is very relaxing. The specially-priced martinis and glasses of wine are inexpensive and of excellent quality. The plate lunches are another bargain. The combination of a small main with three sides (from a long list) allowed us to get the veggies we needed, and everything tasted great. With the room overlooking the courtyard and Windsor Court service, our "date" would be hard to beat anywhere, even in New Orleans.
