The food was excellent, service was outstanding. I brought clients there, who frequent this restaurant often, as I know they really like it. The server called them by name and was excellent in providing recommendations. The hostess called me the morning of the reservation and wanted confirmation of the reservation. When I arrived a little early, she greeted me by first name and was very kind. I will definitely be back again.

We were the first diners of the evening with an early reservation on a Saturday night. Service was polite, friendly, and efficient. However, the food left much to be desired: the roasted half chicken was way overdone and practically burnt. It was so dry, that it was beyond redemption. One can get a much better roast chicken at Publix for one-third of the menu price. There was no sauce or gravy on the plate to help the unfortunate burnt offering. The salmon on another plate was unseasoned and flavorless. It is unfortunate that this long established dining institution allowed such poorly prepared food to leave the kitchen and be presented to a customer. If the cook in the kitchen was inexperienced or was having a bad day, it is still ultimately the chef's responsibility to prevent these unacceptable culinary mistakes from leaving the kitchen.

Service was good, staff very nice. Appetizer in bar for happy hour was originally burned by the kitchen (the server told us this), then had to be re-made. We went for my girlfriend’s birthday as it was Prime Rib Friday. They couldn’t get them cooked properly multiple times (hers medium, mine medium rare). And the $56 price seemed excessive (as they advertise $36 on the website).

Consistently excellent. The Grille offers comfort food of the highest quality. Expect wonderfully prepared salads sandwiches, and always a simply prepared fish for lunch. At dinner, the salads still are available, but a nice piece of fish, steak or other meat choices work. The service staff is perfect, filled with only those who are experienced and attentive. And, most important, they serve these scrumptious biscuits that are impossible to turn down. It is my go to place for a nice lunch with friends or a quiet dinner, which is too hard to find, these days.

Service was very good. Attentive without being overtly intrusive. Food was served in a timely manner without being rushed. We stayed after the meal just to socialize with our friends and were told it was perfectly fine - not pushed to clear table, pay bill or make way for other patrons.

As always, the food at The Grill on Congress was outstanding, beginning with their amazingly delicious complimentary biscuits. Our server, Matthew was a wonderful server. His personality was very outgoing and friendly. He was attentive to all of our needs and made our evening very enjoyable. We hold the Grill on Congress as one of our favorite "go to" restaurants.

We go to Grille on Congress quite often and have never had a bad meal. Last night I had the coconut shrimp which was delicious and my husband had the chicken Romano and he loved it. We both have enough left over for tonight. Our friend had the ribs and couldn’t believe how wonderful they were. Everyone gets popovers to start with. Yum yum. I brought new Fl residents there and it’s now their favorite restaurant. Corey is our waiter of choice. He is always cheerful, thorough and attentive.

We were immediately seated for lunch. They had specials as well as a strong menu. Our service was excellent! The lettuce in our salads was perfect extremely cold delicious!! We had the salad special of the day a southwestern with grilled chicken. And as always the biscuits are terrific!!!

The biscuits are always a hit when dining. The mozzarella and cheese was delicious. Was a bit disappointed in the yellow tail snapper. It was highly recommended by our waiter and dry. 3 of us had the same dish and all 3 were dry. Perhaps it was an off nite for the chef as we’ve never experienced a meal that was not good. We will be back. It’s an easy dining restaurant.

I was meeting someone and was a little early. staff had no problem seating me ahead of time and offering service. It was very nice to be able to carry on a conversation as the noise level was very low. Food was outstanding as was service. highly recommend
