   Ann was a very gracious server and made sure all of our preferences were noted and checked for allergies. She did not rush our dining experience in any way. My prime rib was slightly underdone coming out rare instead of medium rare, however all the food was very tasty. The caesar salad brussel sprouts were excellent! The greeter was kind to take a photo of our group so we had a memory to take with us. Thank you for a wonderful overall experience. The location was excellent.

   The food was the very best we had while in Vancouver. The menu had many options to choose from. The steaks were awesome. The bacon wrapped scallops were delicious. Portions were generous. The vegetables were memorable. The service was top notch. The value was outstanding. We will go straight to The Keg on our next visit to Vancouver.

   Where should I start? We were early and yet we were able to get in right away, on Mother’s Day no less. A table at the end of the patio giving the Sense of privacy and nestled into a grove of Bamboo giving even more privacy. Lovely ambiance. The only thing that was a bit uncomfortable… we were six including two 9 year olds who sat at the end of the table on the inside but closest to the long fireplace. Although it was really pretty, the heat didn’t emit far enough as it’s on the other side of a small path. As it cooled down it got quite chilly, where as the temperature was perfect at the other end of the table where there was a standing heater. The menu has a good selection of all The Keg favourites including baked Mac & Cheese. The portions were exactly perfect, not too much, not too little. Every time I treat myself at The Keg the food is better than the last. Our server, a very friendly lad, who genuinely cared about providing us with exactly what we wanted, he asked great questions to clarify when needed and was always polite. Overall, it was a great Mother’s Day feast with family and friends and we were very happy with our choice to go to that specific Keg on Alberni St. In Vancouver Thank you

   Booked a table from Opentable. Arrived 20mins early from reservation time; gave us a bar top table at the entrance. (I just feel like it is better to ask if we are okay to sit at the entrance at the bar top; otherwise we might have to wait for a bit) requested a serveral times to get a standard table due to a birthday dinner. Ordered lobster bisque; service was quick. But soup was in room temperature. I dont think its up to temperature standard of a hot soup. Even the complimentry bread was hotter than the soup. Other than those; prime rib was amazingly great. Lobster was cooked perfectly. Steak was chewy but it has nothing to do with the cooking.

   Having been a customer with this location for years, I will no longer dine at any Keg after my last experience at the Alberni location, in downtown Vancouver. Our server was never around or attentive when she was, had to repeat orders several times, food was cold upon been brought to our table. We requested chilled wine glasses twice, when brought 15 mins later the glasses had not been chilled & the bottle had not been broughten at the same time. We did not actually get to enjoy our two bottles of red wine, and the wait duration alone was close to 30 mins for our 1st bottle to arrive. The two appys we ordered were decent as for our main meals the meal was cold upon been served to our table, the steak was tough as it had been sitting (we had ordered medium rare) which it was not. Due to how long our entire dining experience took and to get all requested items to table, we did not bother expressing ourselves to the server. After this experience, we will no longer be dining at any KEG location.

   Ordered two different cuts, both medium-rare. One was more medium than medium-rare on most of the parts. The other was just medium, resulting in a too dry piece. Ambient, environment and service were great. May give this location a new chance

    Very good experience with Carol I believe is her name, Filipina server. She is well spoken and friendly. She surprised us with a cake for my husbands birthday celebration. The whole experience with food and service was fast, efficient and smooth. Will be coming back for sure.
