What I like about the Keg is that it is always predictable...you always get a good meal, the steaks are always cooked perfectly, and the wait staff are very friendly and efficient. There are no restaurants in Burlington that are able to cook steaks as consistently as the Keg.

It was so busy and impossible to get our waitress when we needed something. Straw for my cocktail drink arrived after I finished it. I asked for bbq sauce when I ordered and after my meal was finished the waitress slammed it on our table. Wine for dinner arrived after we finished our steak. We told the waitress and the hostess when we arrived that we were celebrating a birthday. Bill arrived without a thank you. We waited and waited thinking our waitress would offer a dessert and when she didn’t I asked her if I could get my husband a billy miner pie for his birthday and she responded with a huff and a why didn’t you tell us you were celebrating something. Disappointing experience to say the least. Usually we love the Keg, but certainly will never go back to this location. 😕🦨

The hostess sat us at an end table next to the kitchen and bar, after about 15 minutes it became obvious to us that this was a noisy busy spot. When speaking with our server, who was very good, she explained that we had been sat in the lounge area and not in the quieter dining area. I am 80 years old, and I can't imagine why the hostess would want to seat my wife and me in a lounge with wall to wall TV's. The manager did come to see us and was most apologetic - he offered to move us but by then we were just finishing our salads and we declined. I always tell people that although the KEG is expensive, the food is always good. That was not true last night; the steaks were chewy and grisly, the beans were cold and not cooked. The Keg fries, garlic mashed, and beets were the usual good quality. We will think twice before going back to spend $150 for a second rate meal.

When we arrived at 4:45pm for our reservation we were warmly greeted by many smiling faces and then led to our table. Our server Jason was so friendly and really made our dining experience great . The only semi negative comment I have is that for 4 people dining the tables seemed to be a little small . With all of the glasses and other things on the table it left very little room . We started with an appetizer but then our salads came very shortly after that and we had to scramble to try and find space to put everything. We had a great meal though and we all agreed that the food was delicious and cooked to perfection. Thanks for a great meal .

This is the 3rd time we've been to The Keg in Burlington in the past six months. The food has always been excellent, but last night, it was one of the best steak dinners I've ever had-- and I've eaten all over Europe, the USA, China and Uruguay. The filet mignon was melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly seasoned. I dislike the modern restaurant trend to not salt meat, which to me, leaves it tasteless and bland. The Keg still uses some salt, as well as other spices and they work together to flavour the beef perfectly. I always have the wedge salad with blue cheese dressing, which is a long-time favourite and my husband always has the Caesar. We both enjoyed our salads, as well as the bread and flavoured butter. The loaded baked potato was excellent, as were the button mushrooms, beets and green beans. We were also given a very large piece of delicious mocha ice cream cake, since we were celebrating our anniversary. We both said that we'd never had a better meal and can't wait for the next occasion to go back.

We had the privilege of being served by Andrew. AMAZING service! He was kind, quick and hilarious. He anticipated our every move (I finished my drink and he already had a refill on our table).
