   Steaks were not cooked properly, sides were wrong, they forgot to bring items out, took 15 minutes to bring kids their lemonade drinks because they forgot twice. Asked for lemon wedges for salad but when they forgot to bring them they took ten minutes to bring them out everyone else was already done. Pretty bad experience we actually went to the keg the week before and experience was just a little better. We have been going here for years and years and I usually do not write anything at all but felt I had to this time if not just to get it off my chest. I still tipped very high like I usually do but I probably should not have but I do anyway. It was a celebration night that was sort of disappointing

   Not real sure what’s going on with the keg lately I ordered prime rib. It was pretty much tasteless. I ordered medium. It was very close to well. My wife ordered prime rib. It came out the way she wanted it cooked. But the taste just wasn’t there I feel as though Steak dinners have gone downhill. I’m not sure if it’s the quality of the meat or the people that are cooking it but it’s not near the quality that it won twice.

   We always enjoy the food at The Keg. The service was excellent as we have come to expect through the years. We took our close friends to dinner tonight to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary. I was very disappointed though that after spending $350 for dinner with a nice bottle of French wine, that all the couple got was a brief mention about their anniversary by the waitress. I truly expected more from The Keg !!

    We were very disappointed with our prime rib. My husband and I both ordered the prime rib. It tasted old. Both of our twice baked potatoes were dry. The bacon was slimy.

    Went during restaurant week. Great value for what we ordered, however, wait times between courses was a bit long. Additionally, the quality of food, however good, was not up to their usual levels.

    Steaks were not cooked as ordered. Asked for no bell peppers and plate came loaded. Waitress spoke so fast had feeling she wanted us to hurry and decide. Past birthday celebrating we’re at least offered a small token dessert. None this time was offered??? For the price of your meal seems like a very small thing to not give your customers who have come back several times. Need to step up if you intend to keep loyal customers.

    Our meal was outstanding. I never knew how good a simple wedge of lettuce could be-ice cold on a cold plate with bacon and tomato bits. The sirloin steak was cooked to perfection and so tender. The twice baked potato was also excellent. A great restaurant with great service also.

    The waiter was very unprofessional for a upscale steakhouse. Very nonchalant about things. I asked for a glass of wine with dinner at the time of ordering. He forgot about it and brought it out when I was over halfway done with meal after I asked again. Also had to ask multiple times for bread, took 20 minutes to get bread from the time I asked for it.

    Great place. Unlike most "steak houses", The Keg provides an actual dinner for the stated price of a beef cut, not an a la carte menu that adds $20-30 to the cost per diner. Their service was outstanding and all staff members very friendly. Only gripe was the noise level, which was a bit high. Otherwise an excellent experience and solid value!

    We were with another couple to celebrate the wife's birthday. Overall, the service was very good. I wished the food matched. Everyone's orders from drinks to each person's main course was satisfactory except for mine a (filet steak) ordered medium rare) which was overcooked to the point of shoe leather. It was quickly replaced which was appreciated. Unfortunately it too was overcooked to medium, xtra pale pink and gray, certainly not medium rare. Worse, it was drowning in salt. Since it was a birthday celebration, I didn't want to continue to rain on the wife's parade, so I had a few bites and didn't complain further. On the up side, they brought a big piece of wonderful ice cream cake that was excellent. No my dinner was not good. Although at least for this night I'm in the minority.

    We love celebrating special occasions at the keg. Our waiter was excellent, the food was just as ordered and the extra attention made the evening very enjoyable. The noise level was a little louder than usual, but overall an excellent evening!

    We eat here a lot and find we have very inconsistent experiences here. It seems to have to do with service, the food is generally consistent. Last night, the food was fairly good but the service was very much lacking. After waiting for our server to stop by our table several times, I had to flag down a manager to ask for another drink. Our food was checked on when we were almost half done, luckily there wasn’t any issues with it but had there been we probably wouldn’t have said anything at that point. We noticed the tables around us being served by a different servers were receiving MUCH better service than us. For the price we paid for dinner, we left feeling like we could have had a better experience.

    Excellent service. Wonderful food. Had the filet, twice baked potato, mushrooms and Caesar salad. Everything was great from the hostess to the server, too the amazing food. Salad served on ice cold plates and dinner on hot plates!! Perfect!!

    My son found a piece of plastic in his salad. Staff was gracious and comped the salad and gave us a free dessert. I don’t feel that the value is great for the quality of the food in general. The bench seating had rips in it. The server was great and very pleasant.

    Once again we were extremely happy with the service and excellent food at our favorite restaurant. We’ve been coming to this Keg for many years and have observed numerous occasions . Birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s days and even just when we want a great meal for no specific occasion . We have moved away now and we miss this fine establishment. This year we drove 2 hours so we could once again enjoy a wonderful dining experience .!
