We got seated on the 2nd floor which was a pleasant surprise
Ambienceand service were brilliant
Tyler, our waiter, was provided excellent service ! Food was great as well!
Food took a long time to come. We were offered our 3rd loaf of bread before declining and waiting for our food to arrive. Food was fine but not outstanding. French fries were hot and yummy.
Food was great.
The server, on the other hand, was horrible. Probably on his first day? Never came to ask how's the food, no finger bowl (my sister ordered ribs), no smile or anything.
Well. thanks for the birthday Billy miner, but that was it. Paid tips for the billy miner and few cents for the service. Thanks for ripping the receipt and nearly throwing at the table.
We all have prime rib medium rare. The size for the cut is fine but they are pretty chewy, and we feel the grade of prime rib used is not as good as before. The roasts also have too much pure fat contents in them ( about 15 percent).
We both had a very good tasty meal. A Big Thankyou to Natalie our server. Very professional, friendly and helpful
Really good food and consistently presented. Excellent service from our server Sebastian who was very friendly and knowledgeable. Pricing not the cheapest but still value in service /product
I like my steaks done a certain way and Keg always comes through with doing it right. I love the Granville Island location as I can stroll around and then come in for a great meal.
We asked for rate and the steaks are overcooked
Our server, Sydney, was very friendly and helpful. We were going to the show and she made sure that our food was delivered quickly. Thank you!
Great experience! Long time customer
Good service and food.
Didn’t have after 9pm happy hour
We had a wonderful time with great food
Our server was awesome and would definitely dine there again
My fathers 72nd birthday and it was a surprise
Birthday dinner, good service
We sat in the lounge and it was super cold by the window.
Overpriced for what you get. The quality isn't that high, and the atmosphere is nothing special for the extra price.
Our server recommended the April special, which was the New Zealand double bone lamb chops with root vegetables, mint chimichurri, and rosemary Demi glaze. Excellent👍❤️😋
We were seated upstairs and I did not like how noisy and claustrophobic it was, however, the staff were quick to move us downstairs and the seating was much better.
My husband and I come here occasionally and the steak is always good, however this time my steak had grisly bits and was tasty but hard to chew. They took off my Keg sized wine from the bill. I thought that was reasonable and fair.
We will be back, of course.
The KEG is ways a gold optio for a good steak. Peefectly done!! I like the quality of their meat and the sides available Still seems a little bit overprced bit I an willing to pay fpr it o ce in a while.
One of several visits we do each year for special occasions - the noise level seemed very high this time. Food was good, although over the 15+ years we've been coming here it seems as though the quality of the steaks is not as good as it used to be.
Had a great evening before the play at the Arts Club. The staff were cognizant of the fact that we had a time constraint and were respectable of it.
Our waiter was excellent, though I felt he had too many tables to care for and was overworked.
We all enjoyed our meals but one gentleman ordered prime rib and it was stringy and he couldn’t cut it. We told our waiter and she immediately took his plate away and got him a fresh slice and it was wonderful
I said when I made the reservation for my friends birthday, usually they bring a piece of “Billy Miner pie” but not this time so was disappointed.
it was busy, and it felt like the restaurant was understaffed. our waiter never refilled our water and didn't seem to have time to ever really check in on us. the food was just okay, nothing special. I remember the steaks being better when I went a few years ago. The restaurant needs a remodeling upstairs, it feels dated and not very warm and comfortable. Same goes with the men's bathroom. Overall, it wasn't that great. It was just okay. Other Keg restaurants are a lot nicer looking.
My wife and I and our 2 friends came for my wife and I's birthday dinner. The food and the service was exceptional. So was the atmosphere. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. An excellent experience all round!
Overall all good experience. My prime rib was done correctly, but had been left under the heat lamp too long and had dried the meat out. It tasted nice, but the meat was not like the regular freshly cut, moist tender prime rib.
My wife and I had a great dinner. From when we arrived, during our meal and until we left. The service and our food were top notch. That is why this is our favorite location.
We are seniors and they allowed us to split our salad and prime rib dinner as it was too much for one. Awesome service and food
Surprisingly great for kids! The staff are great with the little ones and the menu affords lots of options for them.
Great place. We have been coming to this Keg location since it opened. Live it, and please do not renovate it! Perfect as is.
Small point ... it is getting a wee bit pricey.
The tuna tartare was not as good as the other locations but overall very good .
Always a wonderful meal at the Keg. We had an enjoyable time. The food was fantastic. Worth the cost.
We went here because it was across the street from the theatre we were going to. We arrived at 7 pm and didn't get our food until 7:45 and had to rush through it to get to the show. The food was okay but pretty basic, and very expensive. The servers were very nice and the manager kindly comped one of the meals which we really appreciated. I would still go here again as the location on Granville Island is great, but I won't do it if I am in a hurry and I would probably just order wine and appies.
Great food as always ...
Had a great meal here with my family (party of 3). The daily special (8 oz steak with vegetables) was the perfect size and delicious. Billy Miner ice cream pie to finish. Service by Shawn was friendly and attentive. Our table was in a windowless room that could have been a Keg anywhere, but the marina is just steps away, so you can easily experience the waterfront before or after dinner. I found the music a bit loud and overly energetic, but I was able to tune it out after a while. I dreaded the usual Granville Island parking nightmare, but on this early weekday (Monday) evening there were abundant free spots nearby. Hope my son continues to have achievements that we can celebrate here!
Great waiter - Eric - his 2nd. day on the job - highly recommended
Excellent server (10/10) for our dinner, however, both our meals were sub-par for The Keg. Ordered Steak Oscar and Steak Lobster combo, both were tough to cut and the steak in the combo was grizzled to the point of not being able to cut through, unacceptable when told the meat was AAA!
