Mitchell (our server) was kind, friendly, and knowledgeable on our special occasion. The food was delicious and arrived on a timely manner. Constant service allowed for us to request drinks comfortably. Just an all rounded experience overall, will visit again and can recommend this location.

Lovely venue! We got seated in a smaller room on the side, with book lined walls. It was nice and intimate even as it filled up. Perfect nook for an anniversary! Thank you for making our evening special!

I've been going to the keg for over 30 years and last night was the worst experience I've had. I felt rushed to order by the servers, the vegetable quality included a lot of inexpensive vegetables like (but not limited to) beets. 2/3 steaks we ordered for the table were overcooked. The Surf + Turf had a smaller Lobster than expected. I'll come back but likely not my go-to place for steak dinners in Toronto anymore.

Our server was super slow, we sat with empty plates in-front of us for 20 minutes and the service its self took way longer than needed. Our server spent quite a bit of time talking to the table behind us about how long she had worked there for and was stating how slow the night was, despite not checking on us. My food came out cold and our server never quality checked so I just had to make do. We ordered lattes with our dessert which came out half way through eating. I have been to other locations and have enjoyed more.

3 servers were at our table which was complicated and two of them couldn’t follow simple directions such as how we wanted drinks made. Another server didn’t bring out butter with my meal, said she would bring it out and never did. It was not busy at all so I don’t understand why there was so much confusion. Asked them to fix the drinks 3x. Salad was sloppily put together.

I had dinner at the Keg, on King West, for my 40th birthday. I had been craving steak and lobster, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The food was tasty (although the veggies and garlic mashed potatoes were a tad cold), and the drinks were fun. My favourite was the watermelon cosmo! I loved the decor inside, very cozy and chic, and the service was top notch. I can’t wait to go again.

My friend Nancy & I don’t see each other very much since she moved away. We decided to get together for a nice dinner at The Keg on King st. West. It was very easy to make a reservation with Open Table. We arrived a dit before our time & were seated in a lovely table within minutes. Sara our server was at the table to offer us a beverage right away. We didn’t wait long for anything. Sara made us feel like welcome guests with conversation & her friendly nature. We will be back whenever we r in town.

The reservation was for 6 pm. We were seated within 2 minutes of arriving. The hostess welcomed us and seated us in a location that we were happy with. The server, Ben was very attentive and helpful in choosing our order. The sounds of other patrons was not loud and we were able to converse in a normal voice. We very much enjoyed the service and the food here at the Keg and will certainly return again.

We have been to the Keg on King West many times. Was disappointed with the service this time. The table we requested, which is our regular table, was not held under the reservation but let go to another guest even though we were there when it opened. In addition, I disclosed in the reservation that it was a birthday celebration yet no one asked what the occasion was. Odd in that we have been asked every other time. This is why the overall rating was not five stars.

Food & service was great. If coming from out of town, you’ll probably have to pay for parking, as it is very limited. Went for an anniversary and they gave us complimentary cake, which was actually very very delicious. Thank you The Keg!

Staff treated us very well and had taken into account my open table request of billy myer cake and specifically brought up the reason we were celebrating. We continue to return to this location and this is why. You can’t be treated special every time you go to eat, but if you request it from the Keg King West for an actual occasion. They honour your request.
