We loved it. The parking needs to be planned and give yourself some time to walk once you are parked. Get there just at 5:30 pm and parking is then free.

Par excellence is exactly how I rate the Keg in Kingston across the board. Being Mothers day and abet busy, we only with a reservation had a wait time of 7 minutes. My wife had surf and turf while my order was New York Peppercorn steak. Superb flavor from first bite to last for both of us. Even the starter salad and the on the house dessert were flavourful. We even tried a wine from New Zealand a Pinot Grigio by Stoneleigh. This made our end of the day heart warming before my travel to Alert Nunavut very special. A safe travels last meal before the flight out of Trenton.

My wife and I have been dining at the Keg about 2 or 3 times a year for about 40 years. Over the past few years we have noticed that the food quality had gradually deteriorated. In particular the quality of the main entree has gone down. Yesterday our appetizers were fantastic and then the wait for the entree was about 20 minutes. Our steaks were over cooked and the sides were warm but not hot. We did not complain because it was Mother’s Day and they were busy. But this has occurred during our past 5 or 6 visits over which time we have dined at your 4 Ottawa locations and the one in Kingston. We are considering moving on to some other restaurant because the $200 investment per visit no longer meets our expectations.

Waited 15/20 mins for a sever to come to our table, waited 15 mins for drinks, food came and the steak was over cooked and tasted like it was under a heat lamp, vegetables were cold and both of our twice baked potatoes were cold halfway through. My second beer I ordered came after we were finished with our meal, so I sent it back. Place was not busy so no excuses should be made. The keg usually has higher standards 😡

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and we absolutely loved it. The food was amazing and so were the drinks. What really made this experience great was our waiter. He was so helpful, joyful, and just a general delight to have around. We will definitely be back and I’m already looking forward to it!

The service wasn’t as good as previous visits at the keg . It was very loud this time and the service was very slow. There was mix ups with our food and having to request things a couple of times in order to get them. Our bill was wrong so no one looked at it prior to giving it to us clearly. It wasn’t the usual keg standards but no complaints about the food it was excellent .

We really enjoyed having dinner at the Keg. We were seated quickly, the staff were friendly as we do once a year as a special treat. The food is delicious & we always had lots of water in our glasses & were offered more beverages. That's a great way to check in on us frequently. My family & I would recommend the Keg

I did not feel safe. Too many people too close together. After being assured that the two tables next to us had no reservations, two parties were seated right beside us. It was a rainy Tuesday night so not full or busy. Caesar salad skimpy. Iceberg salad good. Brussels over cooked and unappetizing. Broccoli-2 little pieces- undercooked. Sweet potato dice - some mushy, some crunchy. Salmon perfect. Steak tasty. Jamie, our server, was upbeat, competent and attentive. Overall a disappointing meal.

We celebrated our 36th Wedding Anniversary and the service was exceptional. Everyone was very pleasant and attentive. The GM came over to introduce himself and ensure everything was to our satisfaction. The food was delicious, arriving in a timely manner....everything was like clock work. And to top off our wonderful experience, our server, Jaime, arrived with a tray with a little bottle of Champagne and 2 champagne glasses "on the house". Very classy. The menu, food, and ambience were typical for the Keg. Despite having a reservation and it being a quiet Monday, our table was not ready and we had to wait to be seated. We were also frustrated that despite having a limited by-the-glass menu, this location REFUSED to serve us a wine by-the-glass despite it being listed as such. The manager did not come out to talk to us nor do anything to accommodate the fact they would not honor the menu.

This is our go to place for special occasions. We were celebrating a birthday and as always the food was amazing. Our waiter was so great. He was friendly, made great suggestions and was very attentive ensuring all our needs were taken care of quickly. I look forward to our next visit.
