We typically go to the Keg for all family celebrations and have an expectation on quality. For the first time in many years, i was disappointed. The broccoli served with dinner was going bad; it both looked and tasted terrible. Even the replacement broccoli that was brought out was past being "fresh". I have higher expectations from The Keg.

Our server was delightful. Good suggestions and an amazing attitude. I wish I could remember her name- she had dark hair and had spent 8 years in Quebec learning French. Great sense of humour and she made the evening so much fun for us.

Anniversary dinner with my gal. Our waiter, Jeremy was perfect - prompt service and always there when we needed him even with a full section before the hockey game. Servers like him are one of the reasons we keep going back to The Keg. As expected, the food was great as well. The complimentary dessert at the end was tooooo much goodness and we needed a long walk after dinner as we were stuffed!

There isn’t a bad thing to say about the food. It came out fast and hot on a busy Saturday night. Very tasty everything!!!! Steaks cooked to perfection as well. I have a pet peeve about noise level. It was better than most places but could be lower. Waitress was really attentive. Had a great night!!! Many thanks

The service was very poor we had to ask for our own refills of water or our beverage. It was so loud and overwhelming. The food is over priced I'd say for the quality of service you are being provided. The waitress didn't take our menus after our orders or the wine cups over crowding our table. Noticed this was being provided for other tables not satisfied with the service. Pretty sure one of our orders was confused with another tables but we weren't waiting for a new order.

My husband and I had some gift cards we'd received in the past year to use at the Keg. We decided to treat my MIL and stepson to a nice meal out as a belated birthday dinner for my MIL. The meal was cheaper than we both expected, the service was amazing, it wasn't too loud we couldn't hear each other talk, the food was perfect! We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals and the entire experience. 10/10 would recommend!

Our server, Amy, was awesome. She had a great attitude, checked on us regularly, brought extra items that we requested like she was happy to do it, and everything else you would hope for in a server. Out good was very good, although the Prime Rib Sliders were a little bit disappointing. They were out of frizzled onions so part of the flavor profile was missing but some of the beef was overcooked, as well. These were the main reason we went to the Keg last night. I’m sure they’ll be amazing again the next time we go.

We were seated within a minute of arriving. I'm not sure if it was because it was a special occasion or we were just lucky, but we had a cute round table that was in a window nook that fit the five of us perfectly. Our server was very nice. The main course was maybe delivered a little too quickly as we weren't yet finished our appetizers but it wasn't really an issue. I do find it odd that the kitchen won't "split an order" in the kitchen that they send it to the table with two plates. For the price of the meals, it shouldn't be that much of an inconvenience.

As a regular Keg customer we were expecting a nice meal. we have not gone to the Mcleod trail location since before construction on the location. first impression we were sat at a dirty table asked to move to new table it was also dirty so it was the theme. my steak was under cooked on the inside and burnt on the outside my mashed potatoes were cold and my vegetable's looked inedible. my wives steak was undercooked and her potato was burnt with the same inedible vegetable's Considering we were 1 of the 2 tables that had guests in the lounge we figured it would be a great meal but major disappointment for my wives birthday meal.

I felt the standard of food is slipping. I have always used this location for special events and the steak has been consistent. This time i didn't feel that way.(not cooked the way we asked) and the choice of vegetable accompanying the steak was not cooked and frankly terrible.

Even if I booked the table we had to wait and it was very chaotic. Booked at 7.45 pm. We had the tabe around 8 or 8.05; our food around 8.40 pm , we left at 9.25 pm. Due to the chaos and crowded restaurant we decided to order only 1 meal/course to make it quicker (we were so hungry). The food was very good and we will be back probably but we will book from 9 pm on to have a more relaxed meal and time

The prime rib was all fat and way too rare. Sent it back but came out not cooked again. Beer tasted funny. They blamed that on renovations. They Charged way too much for what we received.

Not really impressed with last night's visit. Usually have good meals but dinner last night the vegetables were cold, tea was Luke warm. Seemed like a long wait just for drinks and appie. Probably be a while before I go to the Keg as it's expensive and probably won't go back to this location again. Music was so loud, hard to have a conversation at the table.

My wife and I came here for our Anniversary. We love the Keg but have never been to this location. Parking lot is shared among a few places so it may be a challenge. The restaurant is quite large with what looks like a lounge and an upstairs. We started with some appies of escargot and shrimp cocktail. Both really good. The escargot is one of our favourites at the Keg and it didn't disappoint. The warm bread they serve is always very good and we used it to soak up the escargot garlic sauce. For main, we shared a 14oz Prime Rib classic. It was cooked to perfection. It also included fried onions which was a nice touch because it's usually not included in that dish. The classic comes with a salad and we got the caesar salad which was good. Because it was our anniversary the server gave us complimentary Billy Miner Pie. It's always a nice touch when they do that for your special occasions. It was great. I also had a hot chocolate to go with it which was served in a tall glass mug with whipped cream and chocolate shavings. Service was great - friendly and attentive. I think we will definitely try this location again!
