Our food took way too long to come out. When we told our server, Ashley this she replied "I punched it in right away." No apology or anything. She basically got defensive. Disappointing because normally the service is GREAT. Not this time.

First of all, thank you to our server Chase who provided us with excellent and polite service. He didn't rush us with our selections and even made some excellent suggestions. Just before we left, he took the extra step to say thank you to each of us and to wish us a good evening. From the fresh bread to the main entree to the birthday Creme Brule the food was "eye closing" delicious. I ordered the blue cheese filet mignon. OMG! It's my new favourite. The only other comment I have is about the reception area. We checked in under our reservation and were given a "stand off to the side" wave. There was no mention of how long the wait would be or to have a seat. It just felt a little off to us but it did not affect our evening. Thank you to all the staff for making my daughter's 30th birthday celebration dinner worth remembering.

Went for a Birthday celebration, ordered our food. Told waitress I could NOT have beets that apparently came with the meal ( why beets? give it as a choice). Meals came, steak was no grill marks more just charred on corners, 1 meal steak over cooked, and mine with no beets had broccoli but was red on stems from the BEETS. Told waitress and the kitchen manager came out and offered a dessert. More so lazy mistakes like that should not happen what if I was allergic? Overall the food is not as good as it used to be in quality and taste and overpriced. They need to step up the quality. Server was ok, a little too quiet. If expecting a tip and with a party of six, the tip needs to be earned not expected as a large amount.

Went with my wife for my birthday dinner. Reservation at 545 and we were seated right on time. My wife ordered a Keg classic strip loin and it came slightly undercooked. They quickly returned it and came back with it just the way she ordered it with an apology from the waitress and the manager. They comped her drink as a result as well as my birthday Billy Miner pie. Thank you Keg Oshawa for a wonderful meal and great recovery from a minor undercooked steak. Truly professionally handled. We will be back.

We enjoyed my husband’s birthday dinner. He had originally ordered the steak and lobster however they forgot the lobster. The waitress apologized and brought a fresh one out quickly and it was even taken off our bill. The food was absolutely delicious as always. The perfect meal. Service was excellent.

It was great as usual with the exception of then crab mushroom appetizer. We are fairly certain there was no crab at all as it really just tasted like cream cheese and mushrooms. Otherwise, we had a nice time.

I don't think I have ever given the Oshawa Keg a bad review! This is about as consistent a dining experience anyone could even have. Oshawa Keg is a well oiled machine, attentive and friendly staff, food always cooked to perfection. I have no complaints! It was a last minute reservation to have dinner out with my 12 year old and as always Oshawa Keg did not disappoint! Thanks again for noting gluten allergy (celiac disease) and taking great care with my meal. Jacob was out server - nice guy, very attentive.

It is not what a restaurant does when everything goes well, but what they do when there is a problem. We (6 of us) had a reservation for 7:00 pm and didn't get seated till almost 7:30 due to the previous customers deciding to overstay their alloted time. All the staff we had dealings with (check-in, serving staff, manager) were very apologetic and kept us informed. While we were not happy with the situation, once we were seated the manager came by to again apologize and took care of us.

The food was very good and the service was great. The only issue was the waitress ordered my steak wrong and it was overcooked for me. I didn't tell her until the end because I didn't want her to have to change it. She was very apologetic and I appreciate her owning her mistake. I would suggest in the future that the waiters/waitresses repeat the order including the doneness of the meat. Other than that, all was good
