great service and consistently great quality food!
We reserved a table for 4 on Dec 24th, 7:30pm for the Keg Restaurant at Whistler B.C. as we had decided to spend the Christmas holidays there as we had done for the last several years.
As we were well aware how crowded the mountain was at that time of the year, we made our reservations well in advance of our arrival. The Keg asked us to confirm the reservations on Dec 23rd which we did.
When we arrived at the Keg shortly before 7:30 pm, we were greeted with a notice posted on the door advising that the Keg was closed. No explanation as to why the closure; no message on our cell phones; no message left at our hotel......nothing!
Very classy customer service on the part of the Keg. To be fair to the Keg, when we returned to Vancouver, there was a message on our answering service advising of the closure. However, why the Keg would phone our Vancouver number when the reservation was for dinner at their restaurant at Whistler is a bit of a mystery.
If anything, the lesson we have learned was when making a reservation with the Keg, have a backup reservation somewhere else. Fortunately, Earl's was a short walk from the Keg and had seating available - excellent service and reasonable prices.
Quite disappointing... ordered a couple things off the “Cocktail Menu” that scanned in with the QR code. Even confirmed that the special was on with the waitress and then when the bill came was told the special was only good for a certain area of the restaurant. Food was average, beef sliders stone cold.

Waitress was incredible. Restaurant was so accommodating with our last minute request for an additional person and to be near a tv. Food was fast, hot and delicious. Haven’t had service like that in a while. We will be back.

Covid procedures were securely in place and we felt very safe. I have a gluten and dairy allergy and not only was the waitress very helpful and knowledgeable, but the manager personally came over to me to discuss my meal and reassure me that my meal would be safe to eat.
It was quiet and had a lovely atmosphere.

I came here to celebrate ba special occasion, it's definitely not the nicest location but staff seemed friendly. The bread was super dried out and hard to the point where I couldn't even chew it (jawbreaker). The rest of the food was okay. The washrooms were extremely dirty and not well kept at all. I will not be returning to this location.

Was the poorest quality Keg I have been to but it did the job. Wouldn’t recommend but if you had to go it would be fine.

We were here to celebrate our 30th dating anniversary.
We've been impressed with this location in Whistler for the past 3 years, so we keep going back.
The food, the service and the staff are all very good.
Both our meals were perfectly executed and tasted awesome.

Arrived early for our reso - seated in the lounge for HH and our server Hayden was fantastic! The hostess brought our drinks up to our table once it was ready which was nice. Overall it was a lovely dining experience.

Very good in COVID situation. My fault I should have ordered tenderloin instead of sirloin.

Burger was dry. Only ate half.
Steak was dry and tough.
Caesar salad, escargot, calamari was good
Cauliflower/couscous salad was ok but the dressing was like dry icing. It may have sat there for a while before serving.
Server was friendly. Came back once to ask how food was but then disappeared. No water refills and we had on our jackets on ready to go when asking for bill.
It’s been a while that we ate at the Keg, this will probably be the last.

Great Food and Service and lots of space for COVID safety
The Keg historically has been very dependable but not this visit. Food was over cooked or undercooked and served cold. Little attention was paid to the details. Very disappointing especially at these prices.
