    Usually a great experience. Service was lacking this time and one person out of our 4 person group had their steak way undercooked. Server didn’t seem to care. They brought a new one out once everyone else was almost done with nothing to help compensate for it being brought so late. Awkwardly watched him eat,

    We had a fantastic evening at The Keg, the bar is the perfect meeting and waiting place before going to the dining area, which is a quieter vibe. The service was excellent and the food just what we were looking for.

    The Keg makes you wait outside in the cold until your table is ready. We arrived on time and we were told our table was being prepared. We had 1 older person in our group with a major health issue requiring them to move in doors… we moved indoors despite being told not to.. common sense needs to prevail. Once we got to our table the area was almost empty so why we couldn’t go to our table immediately is unclear. The food and service was fine after we were seated…

    Celebrated my birthday here and our server Jack was very attentive and made delicious recommendations. The garlic shrimp was a 2 out of 5, very oily but everything else we ordered (scallops with bacon, prime rib and braised lamb shank) was superb. The billy miner pie for a birthday dessert was excellent. Will definitely come back here whenever we're at Whistler.

    Excellent calamari starter - a generous portion enjoyed by 7 year olds as a main course. The French onion soup is delicious, too, albeit a small portion for $13. Appreciated the delicious bread served to keep hunger at bay while we awaited our food. Service was efficient and friendly. The person who answered the phone for a query went out of his way to assist - a great start prior to our evening. But goodness, is it expensive to eat out - everywhere not just The Keg! A very modest small meal of 2 starter calamaris, a burger and french onion soup and 1 beer and 2 diet cokes and we were nigh on $120.

    We had reservations for 9:45pm and once we got there we were told that the kitchen had just closed. The lady went inside and said they would “honour” our reservation and keep it open just for us. It was noticeable that that orders were rushed, and once we still had wine left in our glasses we were welcomed to go down to the bar where there was a DJ. They clearly wanted us out of there as quickly as possible. We left feeling like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers and guests, although the server was very kind and polite. All that being said, I am a fan of the Keg and a regular customer.

    This is our favorite go to restaurant/bar in Whistler. We have been vacationing in Whistler since 1989. I don't think the Keg was built until mid 1990's. We watched the area grow. The food at the Keg is exemplary. We chose the leg of lamb and it was mouthwatering delicious, tender and cooked to perfection,,

    Easily the worst steak I’ve ever had. Reminded me of seared ahi tuna when I requested medium rare. Good char on the outside but cold raw inside

    It was an early dinner on a Wednesday evening, the waitress was new & being trained, did very well to make the dinner experience great, the only negative would be that as with most restaurants, everyone seems rush you out when finished the meal. Not unusual but when spending at these prices, you want to soak up the ambiance a bit, lol

    We were quite disappointed as when we arrived we were told there was no prime rib. A Keg without prime rib is not a Keg. They did rush to have it available in an hour and 15 minutes but it was so rare it was scarcely edible. Service was good they tried but wow no prime rib
