Everything was lovely, just wanted to mention we did want to order the lobster but didn't because its too small pieces instead of the one big one. If anything needed to change it would be that. Besides that lovely service, food and experience overall.
Was ok.... salad tasted like it wasn’t washed leaving a horrible taste in my mouth. Not impressed.
We found the service to be exceptional however the food was not up to standard for the prices you are charging. Are bill was close to $300 for 4 people not including the tip. My husbands steak was dry and the fish I ordered was lacking in flavour. The couple we were dinning with thought the same. I dont think we will be dinning with you in the future. We can dine at Mezzo or Vitos were the food is excellent and the prices are comparable. The Keg is not worth the money.
Food was great and our waiter was attentive.
A little pricey but really enjoyed.
Wine was priced fair
Food was delicious...my steak was not prepared medium rare...but a new steak was presented and served in 5 minutes...by the chef himself...prepared beauifully....plus my app was removed from my bill....fabulous service....very kind and efficient servers!!!! Been there several times while visiting..oustanding
Fawn was a great server. Tables were very close together (we would have preferred a booth). No music whatsoever which was disappointing. Food was good but as expected, overpriced. It was a special occasion so we obliged.
Maybe don't order the fish at a "steak place"?
I think thats silly. My halibut was overcooked and under tasty. The asparagus on the plate was so tough it was inedible...
I didn't want to wait for a new meal as we were headed to a show
I choked it down with some added sauce.
It was taken off our bill, The cocktails looked great, mine was marginal on taste...Our waiter seemed attentive and knowledgeable, yet I overheard him at the next table explaining the nights features, while we weren't even told there were any.
First impression. Not so great
The keg is my husband's and my date night spot. We go every year for our wedding anniversary and I always look forward to the meal. This year unfortunately we were disappointed with the service. We did not receive much attention from our server who took a long time to take our orders and did not ask if we needed more drinks etc. The food was not to its normal standard. I always get the prime rib this year it was extremely thick and chewy -- usually it is delicious and melts in your mouth. We also felt incredibly rushed. The bill was placed on our table at the same time as our dessert and we weren't even asked for another drink. Similarly she brought the credit card machine to the table and asked if we needed it while we were still eating our dessert and my husband had to stop eating and fish out his wallet to pay. I did realize there were many people waiting to be seated but we were paying customers buying full meals and drinks from the bar. We rarely get a night out from the kids and being rushed out of the restaurant was very disappointing. As I said we go every year and this is the first time I've ever had a bad experience which is probably why it is all the more disappointing, especially when you are paying for the better experience.
Tina renaud and all the staff are excellent
And the is well worth it.
Food was awesome, service was great
Excellent meal, as always! The prime rib was outstanding. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Windsor.
The French onion soup... bread and iceberg lettuce wedge were an awesome start.
Sangria was good.
The prime rib was good. It wasn’t really explained that everything was a la carte though.
Unfortunately my chicken was very disappointing. It was chewy. Almost like it had been reheated or something. It just tasted really off and actually upset my stomach. Kind of put a damper on the meal.
I would go back and stick to the beef.
The Keg is a wonderful place to go to dinner. It gives off a more formal vibe, but when the dress code was changed, people thought it was okay to dress in whatever they want. I think that the dress code should be put back into place as it sets a better mood and environment as well as gives the Keg a better overall picture.
First time we’ve been a bit disappointed. No recognition of my wife’s 70th birthday until the bill was received. Steak notvserved hot and a bit gristly. Server was OK but not the usual excellence. We had to ask for bread and we poured our own wine...nit a big deal...just not our usual Keg experience. 20 minute delay to be seated...and then were placed awkwardly at a table for 4. I hope it’s a one-off...we are still Keg fans.
Excellent steaks. Little pricey but worth the drive.
Our waitress Tina is a real sweet heart, awesome service!
Excellent food and service. Make sure you notify your server of any allergies. Ours didn’t ask if we had any peanut/nut allergies before bringing out a slice of Billy Minor Pie which was covered in almond slivers.
My only criticisms would be that we sat for awhile before somebody came to wait on us and I booked a month ahead of time and did not get a booth to sit in. Next time I will specifically ask for a booth.
Otherwise, the food was excellent as usual, which is the main reason we go to the Keg. Also, it was my husbands birthday and the desert they give you is delicious!
Great place, will come again . I will strongly recommended for my friends and family.
We visited the Keg for the first time for a birthday dinner, and we were very impressed. We arrived during happy hour, and were able to have a drink at the bar, waiting for my parents to arrive. My parents finally arrived 30 minutes after our reservation time, but they were very understanding, and sat us immediately when they arrived. The service was great at the host stand, in the bar, and at our table. Our waiter Mike was attentive, and helpful. We all ordered steak, I have the bacon wrapped filet, which was cooked perfectly, and the Bearnaise was very tasty. It was priced very reasonably for the quality of the meal. I will definitely be back.
Very pleased with the service, quality and quantity of food.
Always a great place to eat. They rarely disappoint!!
Our waitress Maude was absolutely wonderful. We have had her as our waitress before and she always makes sure we have everything we need.
Went there for the first time - food was delicious and our waiter was great. Even brought us a lovely dessert to help us celebrate our anniversary. We were going to a concert at The Colesseum and it was the perfect location. We parked our car, walked the couple blocks to The Keg and then back for the show. Would highly recommend - had prime rib and the sirloin. Steaks were delicious!
Tina was very attentive and we enjoyed a relaxed meal. The food was hot and tasty. We always enjoy our time at The Keg :)
I celebrated my birthday with an excellent meal (salmon PERFECTLY cooked!),the service was top notch. All around an exceptional evening!
Dinner was good, but seemed over price for the quality. They forgot our calamari, but once we asked about it they go it right out and comp’d it for us.
This was a birthday celebration so enjoyed it immensely. The waiter was exceptional, patient and responsive to his customers. Will definitely return.
Hostess was not there when we arrived. Waited about 10 minutes before being seated. Food was great though.
You want steak?done to perfection? Keg is the best
Waitresses were very nice & the food was delicious
Been to The Keg many times over the years! Great food and menu and nice to jump the border and try something different. Easy to find downtown Windsor. I'll be back I know once again! Oh yeah, the Sangria Red was very very good also-lol!
As always I enjoyed my meal at the Keg.
Always great ambiance and waitress was very attentative. The only hiccup was we had to call security to let us out of parking garage when the validated cards would not work but security was punctual and in no way did that incident change my experience and my recommendation for this restaurant.
Totally recommend the thai chicken if your not a steak eater
Great food, prompt and friendly servers, wonderful atmosphere. We especially enjoy the bar area; nice view of the river and all around good vibe.
Teriyaki steak was overcooked so left part on plate. Charged $9 for what was supposed to be a starter caesar salad. Didn't care for seating in aisle. For the prices charged, the Keg should do better.
The Keg never disappoints. It’s my fave steak dinner..why order steak anywhere else?
Service was great, food was excellent. wait staff were very friendly. We did feel that we were a little crowded as we had one guest in a wheelchair. Other than that we had a great meal and a good time.
We had our first visit to "The Keg Steakhouse" for a dinner prior to attending the Paul Anka performance at Ceasars.
The ambiance, food, and service were OUTSTANDING! We definitely have this gem at the top of our choices for future dining .
Every thing was excellent, and staff that remembered us from other occasions even stopped by to say hello and see how we were doing, and asked if we were celebrating anything, which was nice to be remembered and showing care.
Food was fabulous atmosphere great service was good
Music was not to our taste instrumentals would be nice
