Outdoor dining, great experience. High table was a little too tall as my girlfriend and I are both short. But 5/5 star regardless
Our experience was amazing, Jacinda was our waitress and we were well taken care of. She was very friendly very attentive and made it so enjoyable.
The food was beyond delicious we started with scallops wrapped in bacon, calamari and our main course was the Pistachio Salmon done to perfect.
We will be back again and again.
Thank you Jacinda for a enjoyable experience.
Good food nice spot with view of river however service was very slow
Very good value. Noisy cars and motorcycles. Great service!.
Family night out
Brandon our waiter was fabulous! The food was spot on and the prime rib was done to perfection!
It was so nice to be able to finally be back to indoor dining.
It was our Anniversary and the Hostess to the waitress wished us a Happy Anniversary.
Everything was fantastic.
Thank you for making our evening extra special!
Good service. Top sirloin was a bit tough, filet oscar was delicious.
It took 10 mins after we were seated before wait staff approached us and when we sat down the table was dirty
Great dinner!! Mother daughter dinner! Was not disappointed!
Our sever was great , enjoyed the food and the riverfront, nice to be put after working so many months from home
A friendly greeting when we showed up . Were seated in an quieter area which was great with us . Matt was our server , and can't say enough great things about him . Made the dinner even better . Speaking of dinner we showed up hungry and our bellies and smelling sense were met with excellent food . Then came out a complimentary piece of cake that had both our mouths drop by the size and beauty of it , not to mention the taste .
THANK YOU for a great dining experience for a Birthday outing !!!!!!!
The food was fantastic. The staff were attentive and provided excellent customer service!
Anniversary of our first date
Excellent given recent re-opening! Not perfect, but everyone tried very hard and I would return in a heartbeat!
We haven’t been to The Keg in a few years and throughly enjoy everything about it.
Food was very good as was everything else.
As always, food delicious and wonderful, friendly, competent service. Appreciated the complimentary dessert as it was our anniversary.
It was a greatnight to celebrate our 30th anniversary with an excellent meal. And to top it off we were presented with a delicious complimentary dessert. Our server was great and very kind/ courteous.
We had an annual Keg birthday celebration, and it did not disappoint! Best service ever and meal was done to perfection. Service was friendly, speedy and attentive. Was apprehensive since the pandemic has challenged other restaurants, but the Keg was business as usual. We will definitely continue our annual celebration here!!
The excellent steak oscar and prime rib saved the rating tbh.
Twice baked potatoes were tiny, overcooked/dried out and lacking flavour compared to all previous experiences. Veg portion was tiny as well (2 pieces cut zucchini, 3 small pieces red pepper), and the mushroom rice was extremely dry and flavourless (the only flavour in it was the diced white onion in it).
Requested indoor table, and they kept trying to seat us on the patio, reluctantly finally sat us inside.
Wife requested sauteed mushrooms on her prime rib, was told "not sure if it was possible", and then never recieved them.
Will give the Devonshire location a try next time, but will NOT be returning to the riverside location ever again
Awesome dinner-so nice to eat at a restaurant with family. Our meal was great, our service was top notch. Thank you
Great service and food = fantastic experience
Our server was fantastic!!
Food was great. Service was great. Our waiter was lovely and attentive. We had a great time
I definitely see why people were saying this place is just average. The view is beautiful, but beyond that the food had absolutely no flavor. I ordered steak and lobster with garlic mash. The potatoes literally had no flavor. The lobster was not seasoned at all, it didn’t have any flavor whatsoever. I could only taste the pepper on the steak. I don’t think I’ll be back. Just read the reviews, others I’ve had a similar experience, I don’t know if this subpar food is new since the pandemic but it is definitely not worth it.
Great experience and our server Lucas was wonderful. It was noisier than I would have liked it but can't complain our favourite restaurant was busy!
Went there to celebrate out 39th anniversary.
I ordered a top sirloin 8oz and lobster tail, my wife ordered full rack of ribs and a Caesar salad. For drinks we ordered a Keg Caesar and a blueberry lemonade.
Top sirloin was good, tasty, but had a huge chunk of grizzle in the middle. Paid for 8 but could only eat 6oz. Lobster tail was rubbery and tasteless, blah.
Waiter in training brought half chicken half ribs for my wife…wrong order. They corrected it but we noticed they forgot the fries…not corrected, oh well. Ribs were dry and not very tasty at all. The small 2oz sauce was also not very good. The Caesar salad ($10) was very small, about the size of a small soup bowl. Nothing but lettuce, croutons, sauce and cheese. Definitely costs less than a dollar for ingredients.
My Caesar drink was ok, but not for $12, nothing special.
My wife’s drink tasted like soda water, not blueberry lemonade. Maybe something wrong with machine so waiter offered another choice at no cost. She ordered a house made cream soda. Again it tasted like soda water. She drank a glass of tap water, which was very good.
They did give us a free piece of Billy Miner Pie, which was excellent.
Our bill was over $100 and was actually worth about half of that.
I really think the prices are too high for the low quality food being served. I don’t mind paying $100 or more for a quality dinner on a special occasion. This was not even close.
Sorry to The Keg for my comments, I was looking forward to celebrating with my wife for several weeks. I’m not usually a complainer, but this was not a very special dinner for our 39th anniversary. ☹️
I WILL NOT be there on our 40th anniversary next year, or any time soon.
Great service and great food. Always an amazing experience
I ordered the steak and lobster like I usually do and it comes lobster tail. However, this time I was served a “half lobster” which is quite literally a lobster sliced vertically down the centre. On the menu (that’s now a QR code) says that it is served with Atlantic lobster tail, so of course that’s what I was expecting. Not an unappetizing glare in the lobsters left eye. As for the steak, there are a handful of restaurants I will choose next time instead. Overcooked, and nothing special. Now for the “ambiance”. We were sat outside on the extended patio (our choice) but there was very little lighting, and it just seemed like there were extra tables put on the sidewalk for over flow, and that’s how we felt. Maybe adding a fire, or some lighting would make a for a better patio experience, make guess actually feel included with the rest of the outdoor patrons, and be able to see their food.
I feel like The Keg has really become something generic, and isn’t trying to keep up with other restaurants who offer a far better experience and food.
Delicious appetizers, perfect steak, yummy bonus birthday dessert, together with ice cold martinis made for an enjoyable night. Finally able to dine in and it was worth it. Good attentive service by Samantha.
We received the table we requested. Wanted the table by the outdoor fireplace for years and finally got it.
Our server was perfect and the pacing was exactly what we wanted. Some might think it slow but not for a date night.
Food is always great.
The Keg is just a bit pricey but we endure 8 - 12 per years, lol.
honestly, just not an overall good experience.
started with being seated on the sidewalk at a very wobbly table, had to put all of our coasters under the table to try and fix it
our service was not ideal, had to ask for the table bread when our meals came out because it was never offered to us, knives, etc.
i could not even put my knife through my steak it was so tough (the manager comped it for us)
have never had a bad experience here, always happy when i leave, not so much this time
Was very sad to receive my prime rib dinner as it was tasteless, extremely fatty and most unappealing dinner I have ever received. It was replaced and second was better tasting but still looked unappetizing. I hate to complain about my food but I was unable to eat my dinner.
Would recommend the restaurant but not the Prime Rib.
We went for our anniversary, and it was great.
Food was delicious and good portions.
Staff was very friendly and attentive.
I would certainly recommend it.
The occasion was belated birthday and date night with another couple. It was a good experience our waitress was great & friendly and the food was excellent. My long island iced tea was made to perfection(from scratch) delicious. Overall great experience I would go back!
Our server was absolutely lovely. Great service and food. Only complaint was the AC system had a loud thumping noise, but that’s out of their control.
Our waitress Remy was amazing. The food was good but nothing to brag about. The one frustrating thing is that there was a waitress walking around with a tablet staring at all the tables because you only have a 90 minute limit.
38 wedding anniversary
Great time at the keg as usual, prime rib was a bit fatty this time but not blaming the staff or restaurant... it happens with meat!
Food was great, waitress wasn’t very friendly. Usually they are talkative and friendly this one was quiet and abrupt
As our go-to place to celebrate, we were over the moon happy to be able to finally enjoy the wonderful food and experience at the Keg. Over the past 16 months we have had to cancel 3 reservations that we had but even with the threat of rain and a couple of drops as well, it did not hamper the most enjoyable late lunch that we had. Food is still incredibly delicious.
