   On this visit, we were celebrating my dad's 85th birthday, and as always the food and service at this location were fantastic! Everyone was very personable and the atmosphere with the fireplaces on the rooftop is cozy and sets the tone for a great experience!

   My 4 year old son and I decided to go on a "fancy date", so we both got all dressed up to go and were very excited. In the reservation booking notes, I let them know about our date and if we could request a booster seat and kids menu, however when we arrived, the hostesses seemed to have no idea about that request (why have a request section if you're not going to check the notes?). We were brought to probably the worst table in the restaurant even though the restaurant was next to empty (made a 4:45 pm reso so that we wouldn't take up a table during the rush) but fortunately she was able to move us to a decent table once I asked. The server was nice but clearly we weren't an important table to him as he forgot our drinks, then our bread, then my son's veggie plate. I actually used to be a server at this keg location a million years ago so I know being busy isn't the servers fault, however he had 2 other small tables, and all the other managers and servers were just standing around, so not really any excuses. In general, I'm pretty disappointed. I get it - a woman and her small son aren't going to be a crazy money making table, however we still spent close to $100 and we didn't deserve the service we received. I was hoping for a really special "date" with my son and instead we were forgotten about multiple times. Next time we won't make the special trip and will try somewhere else. The steak isn't worth it.

   For the price of everything i hope the food and drinks would match. I had one sip of my drink couldn't drink it same for my friends drink. got some appies and again for almost 20 a item i excepted something better. Like how do you fck up cheesy bread? would not go again

    Would have preferred to sit at a proper table in the dining room. The seating in the lounge is not conducive to dining and intimate conversation.

    Had a fantastic dinner at the Keg Yaletown!. I have the lobster dinner and they were cooked to perfection. The service was good too. It was pretty busy but not noisy . Great experience

    We had the prime rib and garlic mashed potatoes. This is always a must at the Keg and they did not disappoint again this time. The Yaletown ambiance was great and the service very good. The prime rib was done perfectly and they have horesradish like I remember growing up - very hot! I always love my experience at the Keg.

    Our server didn’t come to our table for 10 minutes. She was very slow. She brought our bill and I indicated to her that we have a birthday she said you are going somewhere else. What does they mean she didn’t say anything. I asked her for a cake. She the worst server we had. When I booked the reservations I indicated a birthday. I also told that lady who seated us that we were here for a birthday. The most worse service ever

    This time my steak was medium well instead of rare. They did replace it. Also they removed our salads with out asking if we wanted to bring it home. So that was wasted. Also the above things our waiter was hardly there someone else assisted us. Usually The Keg is great. Tonight fell a little short for us. Will be back and hope it is better. That I know it can be!!

    My sons love steak. So when this restaurant was recommended we booked. The service was great as they advised us on the best steak for each person and how this should be cooked. We were not disappointed. The sides were generous and delicious. The Keg special rub on the steak was also very tasty. We shared the ice cream cake and when the check came, it was complimentary. Much appreciated. The beers and red wine were also good. Overall a very good meal.

    If you fancy a reasonably priced steak, the Keg Steakhouse and Bar chain is well worth considering. We had an enjoyable meal whilst on vacation in Vancouver.

    Appies were wrong - and was double billed (correct thank you) Only one butter dish never offered more Ice bucket for white wine had no ice Blackened chicken was brown Chicago style filet under cooked - wanted medium rare- got blue rare Beets were delicious

    Had a wonderful night here with friends on Sunday night. Gorgeous interior with calm atmosphere, great view from the second floor. Prime steak taste better than other steak restaurant in downtown, also with a reasonable price. Stuff were friendly and helpful helped us select wine which made the experience even better!

    We like the keg and the service was very friendly but not efficient as the bread was brought out after the salads were finished and the main course was delivered prior to the appetizer plates being cleared They can do better than that Also the food was very tasty but all of the various cuts of meat were seemingly more chewy than normal even the filet was a bit tough so again not quite Up to their standards For the price point they need to step it up But it’s still The keg and still a decent dining experience Hope they do better next time

    Wait staff were very friendly, but food came out cold. Couldn’t get melted hot butter for the crab, although we tried twice. It just felt like the restaurant was too busy to keep up the food service quality.
