Once you enter and get over the dentist smell of the offices in the same building as you enter, it is a wonderful place! ( the smell is gone the minute you enter the restaurant) the view is beautiful and the ambience wonderful. Emma our server provided exceptional service ! The fish plank/charcuterie was delicious and would order as a main! 3 shared it. The crispy fried haloumi bowl was a new flavour every bite! So delicious to savour. Shared a sticky toffee as a nice ending. Missing was a nice mocktail menu for adults and would be very appreciated with the lovely wine and liquor menu. Emma made a wonderful drink in a lovely garnished stemmed glass without alcohol asking my favs but not on any menu - did i say she was one of the best servers I have had; attentive, knowledgeable, funny, kept us on her radar our entire time yet not hovering at all. A great special birthday late afternoon lunch and highly recommend. We be back to try the dinner menu.

The restaurant is beautiful. The food was good. We got the steak and Thai soup. The steak was good nice and moist and the soup was delightful and stayed hot. My sister got the chicken which was delicious. Overall I would recommend. It was a good experience.

Went to the Lake House on a Thursday, the staff was amazing! Host was very nice and helpful, bartender was quick, service was great and quick as well, even while being busy and having a corporate event at the same time:) I don’t remember our server’s name but he was brought energy to our table and guided us so well through the menu. Will be back for sure!

Dinner was great. We ordered a appetizer that was great as well. My wife was pregnant so we were looking for an non alcoholic beverage for her and the bartender whipped up a drink that was delicious. Nice place to go for celebrating a special occasion. Highly recommend.

What a great restaurant! I didn’t even know it existed until a few houses before we went. The view was amazing! (I asked for a window seat in my reservation and we got one). Our server Darcy, was very knowledgeable and attentive. We ordered everything he recommended and he wasn’t wrong. The food was amazing (we both had the Boar). We had a fish share plate for an appetizer and I had the toffee pudding for dessert. All tasted top notch! And the drinks were fantastic too! We will be back!

Great food, service and ambience, but it is odd that the restaurant charges for tap water. It isn’t a high cost but it does take away a bit from the overall experience when you see that on your bill.

Went there for a birthday dinner. Food and service were excellent. A few big parties which made the restaurant fairly noisy, I guess it’s a popular place to celebrate special occasions. The noise was a bit much for me, but after some of the bigger groups left, we were able to enjoy a quiet atmosphere.

The Lake House is a MUST go to! Frank our server was excellent. The food was amazing and they made sure our anniversary supper was one to remember! 100% recommend and we will be back!

The food, service, ambiance are all excellent. It is not inexpensive but it is always top notch. We have never had a disappointing meal here.

Thanks for giving us a window seat. I had the chicken entree. I would have preferred the salad was portioned in a separate dish. Tasty 😋!

Second time in a week catching up with different old friends. Quiet enough to be able to visit. Enough food variety to meet different tastes. Service was better 2nd visit as we had been left for at least 15 mins first time without even taking a drink order. Prices are high but not that much more than comparable places. Ambience of lake scenery makes it a good meeting place especially for lunch.

Food was good but the Sticky Toffee Pudding was AMAZING! Our server was knowledgeable and made good recommendations. She could have been more attentive, as it felt like there were big gaps in time between her visits to the table. The one negative/annoyance was that they charge $1.00 for each person for unlimited water. With the prices we paid for dinner, this should be included in the service and seemed tacky. It should be noted that each person in our party had either two cocktails or two glasses of wine with the meal, so we were not only having water.

Our evening was lovely. We had a lovely window table overlooking the lake. Fabulous view and the fireplace blazing away indoors provided nice ambience inside! Our waitress Nikki was awesome..present, knowledgeable and friendly. The food was amazing. We had a selection of appys and wine, followed by dessert and coffee. Everything was beautifully presented and so flavourful. A lovely meal that made our date night super special! Thank you!

Excellent service, amazing food, great ambience with their majestic fireplace, timber frame hall, and unobstructed lake view. Great overall dining experience with the drinks and course perfectly spaced/times. We were there for 2hrs 45 mins which is long for a dining experi mce but it didn't feel long at all (helps that I was in amazing company). The staff are extremely attentive and not itrusive at all (didn't experience the "how is everything tasting question with a full mouth 😂). This is upscale dining and is priced as such, so it pricing met expectations, but experience and portions exceed expectation. We will definitely visit again once the lake has thawed out. I wish we could give more than 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
