   We sat on the patio aka the sidewalk. It was a wonderful evening to eat out. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent. I was amazed by the octopus appetizer.

   Great food and service as per usual, but one thing I’d like to point out I recommend moving the outside table that’s right next to the cross walk (street side) with the Pedestrian Signal Button. The button’s speaker is about ear level when sitting and very close to the table - if you turn around and reach out you can nearly touch it. The alarm/signal sounds would go off every ~5 minutes for about 5-7 seconds. Just a friendly point out so you can avoid someone being annoying and unpleasant about it. I’ll be back soon!

   I chose Liberty Tavern because it had a lot of menu options that could please anyone in our party. When we arrived, we were given a small menu. Four pasta dishes, some pizzas, and a few appetizers, and that was it. I asked if we could order something off their online menu and was told that they no longer make those items. Many of us ordered a pasta dish, which came with no sides. The garlic bread was extra for $15 (four slices.) When the food arrived, it was cold. Our server was also distracted and came to our table three times: when we got there, to bring us a drink, and bring us the check. No one asked if our food was good, refilled water, etc... I would never go back here and recommend any traveler to search for a different establishment to try.

   Everything from start to finish was terrible. The hostess didn’t speak to us. She just turned and told he coworker a table number. Two servers walked past while we were waiting for 15 mins to order drinks. Happy hour was available at the table, so a minor plus. Burger, pasta and kids grilled cheese were all standard. They forgot our side, which came out after we yelled down the street to finally get our servers attention. He did try to make it right with something that was half the price of the clearly rushed side. Probably would have ordered another beer if he bothered to ask. It’s a shame. I keep wanting to like this place as a regular stop, but am constantly disappointed … Terrible service and OK food you can get almost anywhere. Go to their sister restaurant, Lyon hall, instead.

   Really great food and service. We had a group of 9 and requested separate checks. Andrea took great care of us. We ate upstairs and the noise level was low so we could hear ourselves Our group meets in Arlington 4 times per year and we will be back!

    We love Liberty Tavern. They always do a great job and they continued on Mother's Day. The only disappointment was addressing food allergies--we knew it was a busy day and not as many options may be available but our server wasn't interested in asking. She just wanted our Gluten Free diner to get what she, the server, picked. That was frustrating.

    Brunch was great, wait staff was great - fast and helpful. But the hostess was not. She was very rude - this is the second time we've been here and the second time she was rude, the first we thought it might just be an off day. But once you get past her the experience was good... though she may prevent us from returning.

    We wanted a fun place for our anniversary dinner and chose Liberty. We scored a table outside which was very quiet. The service was outstanding and our meal was fantastic. I even learned something about some new vegetables they incorporated into the salmon dish. We have always had great food... it did not disappoint.

    Every time we return to the Liberty Tavern, we ask ourselves why we don't dine there more often? There is always a great selection of appetizers, salads, entrees, side dishes and desserts. Our group enjoyed the scallops, duck breast and grilled pork chop entrees, and we shared two orders of the terrific warm Northside Social chocolate chip cookies. We won't wait as long before our next visit!

    Sat upstairs. Wait staff was good, but it was busy and little slow. Fried Calamari appetizer batter was light and good, the calamari was a little too greasy and a little fishy, which had us leave some on the plate. My daughter didn’t particularly like her Cheese pizza. A bit too much cheese for her. She didn’t want to take the pizza home, so that tells you something, but I did. I had the Rigatoni with meat sauce and meatballs. Pasta was a little too mushy (I don’t mind it), sauce was average. I didn’t like the meatballs - taste or texture. I can’t describe the taste, as I’ve not tasted that flavor before. Meatballs were light but were too spongy. I ate half of one of the two. It had been years since I’d been in as I had mediocre food long ago and didn’t go back. Liked the atmosphere, though a little loud. Feel about like I did long ago. Why spend $65 for two without drinks for food that doesn’t do much.

    Enjoyed a delightful lunch outside. The 1/2 salad and soup or side was the choice for two of us. We loved the arugula salad (though one was kindly made with romaine) and one person loved the tomato soup while the other chose Brussel sprouts as their side - both delicious. The fish & chips meal had a surprisingly small amount of fish, but it was tasty. Excellent service too.

    Easter Sunday, reservation for 2 at 1;00, seated immediately. Ordered the small all you can eat. All egg servings were cold, coffee service was poor (had to flag the server several times), smoked salmon was good, not much attention from the server. We went last year, much better, this year a disappointment. Tip, fare and tax was 101.00. Much better value elsewhere

    Service was excellent, and sitting outside on the patio was more comfortable than I expected. The food was delicious and plentiful and the drinks were great as well. We had the Easter buffet and the food was promptly served and the servings very generous. Looking forward to going back again for another brunch!

    The 3 of us enjoyed the special of the day: shrimp scampi, very good homemade pasta, sauce and shrimp. Our server Kayleigh (sp?) was very friendly, attentive and accommodating.

    Went to brunch with three friends and was lucky enough to have Savanah come over and take care of the table, great sense of humor. I will definitely do the scrambled eggs, deviled eggs, spicy chicken slider, biscuits and gravy, and letting Savanah choose your flavor mimosa. Liberty Tavern is definitely a place I would recommend to coworkers, friends, and family to make reservations for. Used Open Table to make the rez. Sophie and Shea came by and checked on us as well. 💯regret not ordering the breakfast pizza.

    Very friendly and customer service oriented. Our server was friendly and responsive. Occasionally came around to check in for our next orders just in time before we finished our previous orders (unlimited brunch).     Pretty good on the brunch pricing. The portion sizes weren't consistent. My group mostly ordered items from the "for the table" section, which advertises that it serves 3 - 4 people. Some dishes definitely were for 3 - 4, some was definitely just one was eating it. The quality and taste of food was very good. It was quite chilly inside, upstairs and down. Would appreciate if it had heaters going. Overall, I would definitely go back.

    Savannah was great as were other staff. You can tell it is well managed. Food was great. Cioppino had lots of seafood-5/6 large shrimp. Pizza excellent and Brussel sprouts were to die for-shared side was $8 and enough for3/4. Good sized wine pours. Highly recommend.
