   We were the only table in the heated atrium, which was lovely and quiet. Good service, friendly and attentive. The food was good, some items could have been more flavourful but overall it was tasty. Would return!

    Our server Rachel took great care of us, gave good recommendations and explained the food so well, it was a pleasure to dine there. We had a romantic corner of the restaurant. We would not have wanted to celebrate our anniversary anywhere else.

    They have opened the patio for winter and it provides fabulous ambience and warmth. The owner and our server were excellent but the runner needs more training/manners.

    We had a great night. I was craving fondue and it was spot on. Our server was really good as well. We had the atrium almost to ourselves which was a pleasant surprise. Fireside fondue was a big hit with my niece according to her Snapchat feed.

    This week we were looking for some place new to celebrate a birthday occasion. We found the restaurant to be just like hanging out in your living room very comfortable and familiar. Both the service and the food was very good! We will definitely be coming back!

    Not that impressed. Great food ideas but the follow through was sloppy. Peppers were soggy, gnocchi was good but unevenly cooked, the cheese fondue was super disappointing and lacked flavour. Best part was the cheese bread. Also, they put us at a strange table for 2 and I was stuck staring at a wall with my back to the restaurant and server. Awkward.

    Nice place, they remembered from my reservation that it was my birthday and made me feel special which was lovely. Tables are set up a bit strange so my table neighbour was staring at me, and I was staring at a wall. The snapper appetizer was fantastic. The cheese fondue was yummy but too one noted. Was a little too loud for me, otherwise was a nice night. The waiter was attentive and easy to talk to

    Soooo. I love the living room. It’s my favourite restaurant in Calgary. The service on my birthday reso was disappointing. Our server was very clueless with the menu and was unable to recommend us a drink and food choices. She never offered to get someone more knowledgeable (my two guests had never been there before so they were very interested to hear about the cooks, the food or the history) and just left us with “well, everything is good here so”. Every interaction was awkward. We always needed water but the servers kept the water on the wall-ledge that sticks out from the wall, instead of our very roomy tables that could have accommodated it, and we could pour our own water. The wall-water situation was very strange looking. The food was good and it might have felt more worth it if the service was the same. No one went out of their way to say happy birthday to us, even though our reservation was booked as a birthday celebration. No one mentioned anything about it. Living Room, please test your servers regularly. It was a disappointing experience. Not what I would expect at a fine dining experience.
