Phenomenal food and dining experience. I was not in a hurry and it was a laid back experience that I loved. I had the mushroom/truffle/poach egg appetizer that was incredible followed by a delicious Pho with shrimp and beef. for desert the strawberry rhubarb crumble was excellent. Service was wonderful.

Great food! I’m a regular at the lobby since forever. Lobster linguine and salmon dish was great. Dessert was good too. I wish they were little more attentive on in general service. I had to consistently find someone for more water or more coffee, fruit flies etc.. I really do hope so.

The food was of an excellent standard for all three courses served and the ambience within the Lobby was also excellent. The only negative was that the waiter seemed to be in a bit of a rush towards the end of the meal - clearing two main course plates before the the third person in our party had finished eating. Also the tables were being laid for breakfast while diners were still eating. Not the way to do things in any restaurant but especially not in a hotel of such standing. Although this would not stop me returning I do think that the management team need to look at this as it gives the distinct impression that customers are in the way!!

We had Chinese breakfast, Belgian waffle, a bowl of fresh berries and avocado toast. Everything was delicious, and the service was top notch. The beautiful setting and the calm music made the ambience calm and pleasing. We enjoyed our first breakfast so much that we came back the next day, and enjoyed it as much as the fist time.

Took over an hour to get food, drinks that just never came, really not the service I expect from The Peninsula. We were there to show my future in laws the hotel because we were thinking about reserving a block of rooms for our wedding next year, but we left with a bad taste.

I wanted to take my sister to a nice spot that had great food but also would be a lovely “girlie” experience for her birthday. The Lobby absolutely exceeded my expectations and also paid very close attention to the fact that my sister has nut allergies. The attention to detail and the nice birthday dessert surprise at the end was over the top for me! Louis was amazing and I’d definitely return! Thank you!

The Lobby Restaurant was THE place to celebrate my friend’s special birthday. The luncheon menu had extensive offerings for food and libations, and we enjoyed both before sharing the special dessert our server surprised us with.
