The food was pretty good, however the service was the opposite. We arrived for an early dinner- there were about 4 or 5 tables. Our server walked past and looked at us while we waited to order our entrees, then went to chat with another employee. We had planned to order dessert, but it took so long for the server to return that we decided against it. The host was awful: she didn't greet us upon entering, instead she acted as though she was surprised and upset that we were there. And when we left, just glared at us. While the food was fine, it wasn't good enough to make up for the service. Next time, I would go around the corner to Yard House- they're always great there.

Went at 5:45pm on New Years Eve- great vibe with football and hockey games going on the tv's. Wasn't busy when we got there, but got busier. Food was good- had cheese curds and shrimp tacos. Food and drinks came out quickly. Service was okay. It was a good choice for the night!

It was an overall great experience and we would’ve stuck around for a post dinner drink, but we were being rushed to get up from our table to make room for the ‘dance floor’ because apparently this place turns into a nightclub at 10:00pm on the weekend. I recommend, but be sure to drink & dine before the club goers arrive. Lol

There was one table being exceptionally loud and disruptive the entire time. Although we had reservations no one acknowledged us at all so I approached the server to inform her we had reservations and she said “sit wherever” so we did. Then we waited a very long time to get menus …so long that we decided to not enjoy a full meal there.

Looks like a fun place but they should not be on open table. It was crowded and only a sign saying “seat yourself” with nowhere to check in. I’m sure it’s a staffing issue as so many right now, but when you have a reservation for a group, you need to be able to have a table waiting for you.

We had a group of 4 Iowa Hawkeye fans and learned that "The Loop" is the Twin Cities Hawkeye fan club bar. The Hawkeyes were playing Richmond in the 1st round of the NCAA Men's Basketball tourney that afternoon and we decided to check it out. We arrived around 2pm and learned that Happy Hour was just getting started. Drinks and appetizers were available at a discounted price and the service (Nicole) was OUTSTANDING. The Hawkeyes lost the game, however, everything else that afternoon was super. We will return to The Loop on our next trip to the Cities. It was great to be with Hawkeye fans in Gopher country.

We had a reservation for 7pm last night. Grabbed an Uber and when we arrived they were closing. The doors were locked and they were putting the chairs up. It was seriously cold out and our Uber had left. Luckily there was a restaurant down the street. Food was good, atmosphere great and it was toasty warm. I would recommend Freehouse restaurant to go to before trying Loop!

We used OpenTable to get a reservation and there was really no need. By the time we arrived, around 8 PM, it was seat yourself. We found a table quickly but purposely stayed as far from the bar as we could because it was pretty noisy. The service was good but it was typical bar food.

The chicken sandwich with avocado was tasty. The jambalaya had decent shrimp and sausage, but the chicken was breaded and deep fried (like chicken tenders at a fast food restaurant).

Father’s Day brunch at 11:30. Place was empty. Food was ok but nothing special. Service was slow. Kind of a sad scene. It may still be coming out of the pandemic but we saw other restaurants in the area bustling. We’ve tried the sister restaurant at West End and it was much better.

Love the place but they aren’t compliant with the Covid regulations. There was a very large group of at least 10 or more. Also we got seated right next to another table and I was back to back with another customer when there needs to be a minimum of 6 feet.

It was pretty empty when we stopped in but our server was a little hard to get ahold of. She was very nice though. The food was great, (we had mac and cheese, a burger and the chicken avocado melt) and they had strong drinks. The bathroom was nice/clean and the overall experience was pleasant. Would come back.

Spent $80 and was treated like I was at the bar getting a few beers. Service can be a lot better. But the good was the pizza, tasting great plus the crust was perfect. Shout out 2 the cooks!
