The Loose Moose is a lively bar in downtown Toronto favoured by locals and out-of-towners since 1989. Their fondness may have something to do with its beer selection. After all, with over 65 varieties on tap, repeat visits are kind of a given, especially for lovers of Canadian craft. Beer isn't the only thing we have to brag about. With inventive plates, generous portions and the cleanest taps in the city, this is a bar you’ll likely come back to — plan or no plan.

On our way to the Jays game and stopped in for supper. Our waitress was amazing, food was great and service was really good.
Would highly recommend stopping in. We made a reservation and was probably a good idea.

We had a great meal here before the Taylor Swift Concert. They were busy, but the food arrived very quickly and the service was great. I loved that we were able to pre-book a table before we even arrived in Toronto. They even called to confirm our reservation and everything was ready when we got there. First class service. Highly recommend!

Great spot, good food but way too loud. If you like screaming at your friends across the table, go to the Loose Moose.

Met all expectations for food, service and atmosphere. Varied menu, great beer selection. Close to the downtown action spots. Reasonably priced especially given the current US exchange rate.

We enjoyed our dining experience. We booked reservations as we were going to the Blue Jays game. The food and service were great however there was only one bartender. It was very busy and thought they would have scheduled another person for the bar. He still did a terrific job.

We had a great early dinner at 4:15 after a 2:00 show at The Royal Alexandra theatre. We had reservations but didn't need them that early on a Saturday. Service was efficient and quick.
I ordered the Pirogies Supreme and my husband had the Mexican Rice Bowl. Both of us were very happy with the flavour and quantity.
I was surprised that the server did not offer dessert or coffee at the end of the meal. We went looking for Sweet Jesus for dessert instead.
We would recommend to friends!

The food was great and the waitress was very accommodating when we wanted to change our reservation for a party of 4 to a party of 6 last minute. Considering how busy the restaurant was, we were very appreciative of this!

I made a reservation for 6 PM, arrived at 5:45. My friends were told the table was not ready and had to ask 3 times before being directed to me. Service was slow, one order was wrong.

Great for watching sports and maybe wings...but I have a hard time recommending anything else on the menu. Burgers are bland, fish sandwich was very plain, glass of sangría was very watered down, mac and cheese had no flavor. Service was good and quick. If it's a bar, beer and sports you want then this might be the place. But if you want good eats go elsewhere.

Food was great, service was definitely outstanding, but the music was too loud - it was very hard to carry on a conversation. My friends and I had to leave right after our meal to have desert and a coffee in a much more quieter environment. Having said that it was still a great place to go to....

The staff were very positive, friendly and efficient. I ordered 2 fish tacos that were smaller than I expected but the flavour was good.
The washrooms were clean and accessible. The music was very loud when we arrived but my friend and I were still able to chat.

The ambience was unique and something never seen before. Although we had a reservation we showed up early and they seated us right away. Just a note that they do not have any special deal for a birthday.

Fun place. Our server was very friendly and attentive ... service was excellent. Good choices for the beer that was on tap. Nachos were great but burgers were very average at best ... overall the food was good.

We actually brought children here in the day time. We weren’t sure if it was a child friendly atmosphere, but they did have a children’s menu. Food and service were very good. We had a great table overlooking the street.

Super sweet services - was seated where I wanted to be (so we can watch the game we wanted), amazing wings (which it was slightly bigger portion, though) and the server was super friendly and helpful. Definitely good for a sports viewing date or get together with friends!

Arrived we were taken to our seats right away orders taken we were going to the Peter Frampton journey concert that started at 615. Everything was great until bill time came then poof our waitress Taylor was gone. Finally showed up said she would get bill then once again gone. Saw her serving other tables etc. We stood up and went to bar at this point as we wanted to go . She annoyingly told us it wasn’t her fault that they did not have enough debit machines. Not once did she come over to explain her dilemma. Then our son gave her 100 dollar bill she asked how much for top he said 10 which made a total of 70 he was owed back 30 well once again she disappeared we had to have all the staff try and find her and we were 10 minutes late for Frampton and he was only on for 45 minutes very disappointed in her whole attitude and wasting our time. In all it took about 20 minutes to get paid up and change back totally unacceptable

Everything about this restaurant was excellent, except the music. It is way too loud. People go to restaurants to talk and socialize. You cannot do that when the music is so loud that you cannot hear the people talking at your table. For this reason, I will not return.

Very loud, everyone comes here to watch the game after work or stops before a show or concert.
Bar food is ok, beer selection decent. Service not great, took forever to flag down a waitress for drinks & the bill.
Go here if your looking for casual, cheap and loud.
