The Loose Moose Tap & Grill
The Loose Moose is still partying, nearly three decades after launching onto the Toronto bar scene. With seating for more than 400 guests on both levels, it is the place to meet and make new friends, listen to live music, or catch the game.View Private Dining Details
The only issue is the music was way too loud. I was not able to hear the people l was with.
Very fun place amazing staff attentive for how busy they get
Situated where it is in Toronto you're going to pay more for your meals, but the foods have different creative twists that aren't so creative they would scare people away.
Again I cant say enough about the staff they were phenomenal and bonus they have Guinness on tap and can pour it well!
we were attended to with fast service. the waitress was very good and was easily available and we enjoyed the atmosphere.
Very busy for a Monday( Leaf Game). Noisy but service and food good. Good beer selection.
Great restaurant, service and food. An absolute must when going to Toronto for any sporting event! Great location!
Great as always!
Great pre-game experience!
I liked the food, the service was okay not the best. Our waiter kept forgetting things, such as we asked for water. They gave us a jug of water with out glasses, my drink I asked to have in fancier glass because I do not drink alcohol and the waiter never did that.
Been wanting to go here for a while and it was worth it! Great food and amazing service, will definitely go back.
My family and I enjoyed our dinner at The Loose Moose prior to seeing a comedy show at The Second City. We arrived before our reservation time, so we had some ore-dinner drinks at The Antler Room below The Loose Moose and very much enjoyed that atmosphere, as well. Would frequent both places again!
Everything was great EXCEPT the major variable that they DID NOT play the sound of the Toronto Maple Leafs game. The game was on the TV's but they had music playing on the speakers.
This may be just me, but I think it's pretty brutal that a sports bar in downtown Toronto on a Saturday night, less than a 5 minute walk from the Scotia Bank Centre, did NOT have the volume of the game on. As a Leafs fan that expects this, it was frustrating to say the least.
We came for some snacks before the raptors game. It was busy but we were so happy we made a reso. Our table was great, service was great and food was fantastic. Exactly what we wanted.
Pre-game dinner. Enjoyed the food and the company but found the establishment too noisy for conversation.
Cozy. A bit loud as in any bar. Overall positive experience but wouldn't want to use their toilet stalls -was on the dirtier side
We had a large party group for the raptors game and management would not turn on the game’s sound. Instead they chose to play terrible and loud music.
We eventually ended up going to a bar where they allowed sound for sports games.
It’s very odd that they have so many televisions showing games and don’t allow for sound! I would not recommend this bar if you’re a sports fan, (or if you like good music).
It was a great place for dinner before leafs game and got us in quick for game
Ribs were fall off the bone good. As a sports watching venue, just average.
We had the bacon and cheese burger, fish tacos and wings - each of us LOVED our meal! Probably the best burger I have had in a very long time - home made bun was fabulous!
Great food, good atmosphere, friendly service. What more can a person ask for in a pub!
The food is excellent, menu has variety and the beer selection is second to none, always a good Atmosphere and a great location. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable with the food and beer menu.
I will back!!!
Great convenience to Scotia Bank arena. Went before Fleetwood Mac concert. Food was good, service was good but it is a bar and loud.
great service, terrific pub style food, lots of draft choices, good value
Went here before the hockey game, close to the Scotia arena.
Food is reasonably priced but wine is overpriced. 12-13 dollar bottle sells for $40. Service was ok. We had nachos, they were boring. Beer of the day was Kronenburg at 6 bucks a bottle which was the best value.
My overall experience was alright. The steak frites I ordered was way too raw for medium rare. The mac and cheese from the appetizer didn't taste very good.. However, I did enjoy the service and my $15 of coupon :)
Great pub food; sandwiches etc. Waitress was great, tons of fun, tons of different beers on tap
Had a great time with great service!
Great find for a quick supper after a day of sightseeing. Good fresh food served quickly. Great local beers.
We were in Toronto for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon (my son was in it, got 3rd Canadian!) and some of us wanted to go out for a fun night the night before. Dinner and Drinks at the Loose Moose was great and then we moved downstairs to the Antler Room for more drinks and live band ("Speak Easy" I think they were called). Had a blast dancing and listening to great music (really good Alanis Morrisette songs!) Was a great night out!
We had a great meal. My husband had the brisket tacos (4) and he could have used more food. Ex fries, salad etc. It wasn’t quite enough for him. James our server was awesome. Kept us entertained and always checked on us. We will definitely return next time we visit Toronto.
Made a reservation. Food was delicious and served quickly
Disappointed. I had heard a lot about this place and it just didn't live up to any of it. I booked in advance for my birthday and then was told to just 'grab a table' when we arrived. Service was very poor. She was not happy doing her job. Food was good. The menu was fun. It's just not worth the money compared to other great restaurants in downtown. Maybe go here for a drink but go for dinner elsewhere.
One of the best places to eat and drink in the city hands down. Great atmosphere. Bar rail service is excellent.
The food was good and the server was very nice and apologetic, but the time it took to get our drinks and dessert was more than it should have been and by the time we received our coffee it was cold. Generally the service is pretty good, hoping this was a one off.
Great restaurant with good music before a concert. The atmosphere was lively and energetic!
The noise level is too high. Hard to have a conversation with people at your table. A little lower level would improve my ratings for this spot.
Really enjoyed the food, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was fun.
I've been here a few times in the past with friends, but this time was special because my best friend from Australia was visiting, and this was one of the last places we had a meal together. It was a little noisier than I remembered, but overall it was a fun and relaxing experience, and I'd do it again.
The wings were good, the 'Big Bird' was disappointing as the batter looked like a brown piece of plastic on my plate (over fried, dirty oil). Manager was quick to offer an alternative and did not charge us for my meal which I thought was very generous
Got the Bid Bird which was delicious. Also got a small Caesar salad which I would've enjoyed more if there was more dressing on it - there was barely any. The place can get really loud with the music and conversations but overall a nice casual place for big and small groups. Our server wasn't very friendly, she barely smiled and when you asked for something it's like you were bothering her. When she would serve the drinks she was practically slamming it on the table as if she was mad.
Lively raucous environment; you may need to shout to have a conversation. Great selection of beer on tap.
