The Loose Moose is still partying, nearly three decades after launching onto the Toronto bar scene. With seating for more than 400 guests on both levels, it is the place to meet and make new friends, listen to live music, or catch the game.View Private Dining Details
Made a reservation. Food was delicious and served quickly
Disappointed. I had heard a lot about this place and it just didn't live up to any of it. I booked in advance for my birthday and then was told to just 'grab a table' when we arrived. Service was very poor. She was not happy doing her job. Food was good. The menu was fun. It's just not worth the money compared to other great restaurants in downtown. Maybe go here for a drink but go for dinner elsewhere.
One of the best places to eat and drink in the city hands down. Great atmosphere. Bar rail service is excellent.
The food was good and the server was very nice and apologetic, but the time it took to get our drinks and dessert was more than it should have been and by the time we received our coffee it was cold. Generally the service is pretty good, hoping this was a one off.
Great restaurant with good music before a concert. The atmosphere was lively and energetic!
The noise level is too high. Hard to have a conversation with people at your table. A little lower level would improve my ratings for this spot.
Really enjoyed the food, service was amazing, and the atmosphere was fun.
I've been here a few times in the past with friends, but this time was special because my best friend from Australia was visiting, and this was one of the last places we had a meal together. It was a little noisier than I remembered, but overall it was a fun and relaxing experience, and I'd do it again.
The wings were good, the 'Big Bird' was disappointing as the batter looked like a brown piece of plastic on my plate (over fried, dirty oil). Manager was quick to offer an alternative and did not charge us for my meal which I thought was very generous
Got the Bid Bird which was delicious. Also got a small Caesar salad which I would've enjoyed more if there was more dressing on it - there was barely any. The place can get really loud with the music and conversations but overall a nice casual place for big and small groups. Our server wasn't very friendly, she barely smiled and when you asked for something it's like you were bothering her. When she would serve the drinks she was practically slamming it on the table as if she was mad.
Lively raucous environment; you may need to shout to have a conversation. Great selection of beer on tap.
had a reservation done online (which only accepts up to 7) and they pleasantly increased me to 9 on the phone to accommodate a birthday. Very friendly, service was decent, food was great and an awesome beer selection.
Food was ok. John, our server was excellent and improved our evening tremendously. Too noisy.
My 2nd time at the loose moose. Beer selection is great. Good for casual setting after/before the games since it's so closed to the Rogers Centre and union station (for the commuters). We ordered the appetizers for two, nachos and lots of beer. The food was delicious
Had food and drinks after attending the FanExpo 2018. Always a fun spot.
This place was a cool experience to add to a trip to Toronto.
Just what we were looking for before our the Ed Sheeran concert. Food and service was good and it definitely helped that they played several Ed Sheeran songs. Definitely recommend. Also recommend reservations on weekends. Will return to this restaurant for sure.
Thank goodness for my reservation. People turned away with a 90-minute wait!
We had tickets for Come From Away so we mixed in with the Ed Sheeran concert goers.
Terrific food and service.
Great food! Great drinks! Service was excellent! Lauren our server was the best! We got The Big Bird, Chicken and Goat Cheese Sandwich and Nachos with the Spicy Beef. Proportions were great for the price. We left full and happy! Totoally recommend this place!
Our waitress was AMAZING. Her name was Mary. She had me and my friend laughing every time she came to the table. Her service was perfect not in your face but we never had to wait for anything. When I go back I will call first and ask to see if I can get in her section. It was an absolute pleasure. The food was very good as well. The only thing I would change is the noise level (but I also recognized I am not 22 years old anymore and don't tolerate noise as well as I use to), however this will not deter me from coming back. Great job Mary, you now have two loyal customers that will come back because of you, and we will tell friends about you!
It was great. Great seat selection and seated right away. Staff was awesome and so was the food.
We are from PEI and anytime we are in Toronto my husband must go to the Loose Moose. Our favorite spot in Toronto.
On our way to the Jays game and stopped in for supper. Our waitress was amazing, food was great and service was really good.
Would highly recommend stopping in. We made a reservation and was probably a good idea.
We had a great meal here before the Taylor Swift Concert. They were busy, but the food arrived very quickly and the service was great. I loved that we were able to pre-book a table before we even arrived in Toronto. They even called to confirm our reservation and everything was ready when we got there. First class service. Highly recommend!
Great spot, good food but way too loud. If you like screaming at your friends across the table, go to the Loose Moose.
Really enjoyed it, not too much food but just enough to not be super full.
Great job by staff for our group, even we added 3 more over an hour later. Thanks for the great service and food.
Met all expectations for food, service and atmosphere. Varied menu, great beer selection. Close to the downtown action spots. Reasonably priced especially given the current US exchange rate.
We enjoyed our dining experience. We booked reservations as we were going to the Blue Jays game. The food and service were great however there was only one bartender. It was very busy and thought they would have scheduled another person for the bar. He still did a terrific job.
Table was ready for 6pm reservation. Food was delicious and quick before our concert. Lots of beer options available on tap.
We had a great early dinner at 4:15 after a 2:00 show at The Royal Alexandra theatre. We had reservations but didn't need them that early on a Saturday. Service was efficient and quick.
I ordered the Pirogies Supreme and my husband had the Mexican Rice Bowl. Both of us were very happy with the flavour and quantity.
I was surprised that the server did not offer dessert or coffee at the end of the meal. We went looking for Sweet Jesus for dessert instead.
We would recommend to friends!
Beer was warm and got food poising! Barfed dinner up at our concert- worst experience! Get one night out with a babysitter and ruined! Will never go back!
The food was great and the waitress was very accommodating when we wanted to change our reservation for a party of 4 to a party of 6 last minute. Considering how busy the restaurant was, we were very appreciative of this!
I made a reservation for 6 PM, arrived at 5:45. My friends were told the table was not ready and had to ask 3 times before being directed to me. Service was slow, one order was wrong.
Great food and excellent selection of beers. Will definitely be back in future
Our go to spot before a Jays game! Loud but friendly atmosphere! Enjoyed our dinners.
This place is great. I love the food and the staff is really nice. It's very loud but still worth your time.
Food and service was ok. we ordered chips and salsa to start and it took 30 minutes to get to us. Music was WAY TOO LOUD!
Great for watching sports and maybe wings...but I have a hard time recommending anything else on the menu. Burgers are bland, fish sandwich was very plain, glass of sangría was very watered down, mac and cheese had no flavor. Service was good and quick. If it's a bar, beer and sports you want then this might be the place. But if you want good eats go elsewhere.
