The food was great, but I don’t think they expected to be as busy as they were on a Monday night. I’m glad we made a quick reservation, because they started turning people away shortly after we were seated. The server was not as attentive as he could’ve been and it took awhile to just get our drink orders in, but the restaurant was full. Once we started receiving drinks and food, everything was correct and delicious.

Ate at the bar and the bartender was so wonderful. She made us feel like we were one of the locals. Food was excellent, hot and ample portions. A neighborhood gem we will visit again next time we come up from the Bay Area.

It was OK. The service was very good. We ordered the eggplant appetizer, a shrimp dish, and chicken piccata. The eggplant could have been seasoned better. The goat cheese made it too tangy. The shrimp was just over on the cook. The chicken was pretty good. The owner greeted a larger party but ignored us. Kindof rude. We gave the waiter a compliment to the gal behind the bar. Instead of saying "thank you" she made a joke. Uncomfortable.

Great outdoor seating. They opened and adjusted the umbrella to cover our table. The frito misto was amazing especially the fried onions. We paid extra for rolls which were average.

The Eldorado Hotel recommended this restaurant to us. We were not familiar with it, but decided to give it a try. We had a delicious lunch!! We felt like we were back in Italy. Everything was so fresh and very delicious!! We will be back in Sonoma soon and will definitely make reservations for dinner.

This is a place where you immediately feel comfortable with the staff, food and the attractive bar with an old brick wall. Inside seating or outside on the street over looking the Sonoma Square is a perfect relaxing scene. Salads, meats, seafood - its all good. Thanks Plaza Bistro

Ordered a Caesar salad and two pastas. The Caesar salad was fine though the waiter did not give us forks or napkins. He gave us spoons with which to eat the salad. And the two pasta dishes we got were not tasty at all. I ate a little bit of mine and my guest stopped eating after one bite.

We came here on Sunday for lunch for 4 before going to a wedding dress fitting. The outdoor patio was great, and the service was impeccable. The food was AMAZING. I definitely plan to come back here. Thank you Hector for amazing service.

In general, we were disappointed with our food. The dishes were not as described on the menu. The risotto was undercooked, and more resembled a brothy soup with rice. The gnocchi was supposed to have a creamy sun-dried tomato pesto sauce, but it tasted more like a marsala gravy. We had higher expectations.

Rigatoni was good, the tomato sauce was good. But gnocchi and grilled chicken sandwich were okay. Not sure if it was worth the price. Server and all other people were very nice. Made a reservation. It was quite crowded for weekday lunch. It was after two wine tasting so the reliability of my review may be low.
