   The food was amazing and the hotel is beautiful. We didn’t quite seem to feel welcome as a dinner guest and almost didn’t get served in the bar as we wasn’t staying in the hotel. We left early as we felt uncomfortable.

   No none else in the restaurant . The waiter was the only reason we stayed there . Food just awful ! Only had half the menus . Pulled pork obviously frozen and just reheated ! Seafood sandwich you could even see a prawn or crab . Very expensive for poor quality food .

   Lots of staff but poor service and long wait for food. Lots of noise with crockery clattering in bar area. Also very limited gluten free options

Gluten free options is always available for most of our choices with the option to changing it to accommodate GF. I will look into getting the service trained up to be improving and hope next time we can better your experience if you can visit us again.

    This is a lovely restaurant, overlooking the sea. The waiting staff are very efficient. There is a choice of two menus. One is the bar menu and the other the restaurant . The restaurant menu is very limited in choice and a bit expensive. The food is of very good quality though. Overall though, it is a lovely restaurant, convenient and relaxing.

    Very poor service, constantly having to seek staff out! No table cloths! Not set for traditional afternoon tea! No choice of teas, very poor menu - laminated like a builders cafe. So disappointed in my birthday celebration , would not recommend this hotel for an afternoon tea experience! Really need to up their game!

Regarding the Afternoon tea service we have here, we don't table cloth any of our tables might it be Lunch, Afternoon tea or dinner. I do know we used our Afternoon tea set for your table and if is very sorry if it didn't met your standards.     A beautiful restaurant with fantastic views and brilliant service. The winter course menu for £25 is a bargain and I would definitely come back here for food and to stay at the hotel. A fantastic time and could not complain about anything.

    We enjoyed a lovely lunch yesterday with great service from the Waitress and Waiters. I loved the main course Lamb and the desert was very good too. Great value, considering the Hotel and location! A memorable pre-birthday celebration 🎉

    We visited on a Sat evening in Nov. It was quiet but this suited us. Good variety on the menu. We were given complementary warm bread after we ordered which was delicious. I had the fish and chips which was very nice. I only wish the pea fritter had been bigger. Two of us opted for dessert as the others were too full after their mains. We didn’t have coffee but it was offered. In all a pleasant evening and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

    We went to the point for lunch for my daughter’s birthday. The place was almost empty, apart from a couple of other diners. It was cold in the restaurant and the service was not great. After taking our initial order and bringing our food we did not see the waiter again. We even had to go to the desk to pay when we wanted to leave. I ordered a chicken wrap, which had hardly any chicken in it and other ingredients that I was not expecting. Disappointing for the price. I have wanted to visit this restaurant for a while now and have to say I was disappointed in the whole experience.

    Whilst a little lacking in restaurant atmosphere, the food is seriously worth a visit. My husband and I dined here for our pre annivseray meal and were VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and drink. The crispy duck tostada was incredible as was the chicken pressing for starters. The beef fillet was one of the most succelent I've ever tasted and well worth the cost. Also, highly recommend the cornish cod and deserts. We left very full and happy.

    We have had a booking for 19:00, I have had the confirmation email and we were on our way. Traffic in Sandbanks was really bad due to roadworks, and I know they keep the table for 15 minutes but I thought I will call to let them know we migjt be late. I called just before 19:00, a guy picked up. He was nice and he said there might be an issue because he cannot find our booking, he placed me on hold trying to resolve the issue and then after several minutes (while we were stuck in traffic on the way there), a lady picked up the phone. I suppose she was a manager, But not sure she did not present herself. And she sharted the conversation with “right , what is the issue what is the name on the booking?” Confirmed my name the 4th time and she started rasing her voice at me, like it was my fault and saying we are busy and I don’t have a table for you. (No apologies, not trying to help just a blunt “f**k you attitude and raised voice). This is a restaurant which presents itself above the regular restaurants and pubs around here but this employee is ruining the image. I understand language barrier can sometimes be an issue, but this lady was rude and her attitude was discusting. I will raise this further.

    John Dory dish was pretty good but monkfish was unpleasant, crudely spiced and under seasoned. With two beers and no starter or pudding, total cost was over £75 for two of us. A decent meal with wine for two would cost around £125+

    Food was very good but this restaurant is ridiculously overpriced. We paid over £180 for dinner for myself, my wife and our 3 year daughter. That is extortion! Our dinner the next night in town cost us £80, which is what we would expect. The view here is off course excellent but not worth the extra hundred quid!

    Food was ok, quite expensive what what you got. The staff were very attentive and helpful but the ambiance was below the standard you would expect from a restaurant with those prices. No table clothe, very basic tables and quite cafe style. Great view.

    We arrived on time (1645 - last sitting) to be told that we could only have our booked afternoon tea either outside or in the bar as they were preparing for dinner. Not wanting to enjoy a special treat in the bar, we opted for outside, although chilly, and were ‘plonked’ in the first table we came to. The whole terrace was empty bar one other table. We were rushed to order, that was no challenge as we knew we wanted the afternoon tea. It arrived in good time, our plates were just placed on the table under the coffees and teas and not set out as expected, the service was non existent. The food was of good quality and tasted nice and was presented well. Halfway through eating at about 5:20, a server approached, reached for the platters and asked if we had finished. We had barely made an indent and we responded no. That was the last we saw of anyone before we paid and left. Would not return based on this visit. Such a shame as this was a family treat for my 85 year old mom.
