Went for my birthday the food was great service excellent I would 100% recommend
Our server Michelle was fantastic as always!
We took advantage of the 3 for $30.00 the meal was very good it was so quiet we were literally the only customers in the place. I couldn't believe that what a deal. Great food, awesome service made for a great night out.
The food was exceptional. We had the 3 course meal for $30 and every item was scrumptious.
The food was incredible and our waitress outstanding. Great value!
Overall the pottery restaurant was great! We were celebrating a birthday and they went above and beyond for us. Food was incredible and the service was outstanding. Updating the interior wouldn’t be a bad idea, such lovely food with only a mediocre atmosphere. Would definitely return for the delicious food and excellent service.
We made a reservation for Friday night but it wasn’t busy. My husband ordered the bone marrow and Alberta beef tenderloin and I had the halibut. We were both very happy with our choices. Service was on point. Definitely recommend.
Our server Lauren was fantastic!
Excellent fresh food with local vegetables and bakery. My birthday dessert was delicious and the server was very friendly. All in all a great meal and ambience
We had the 3 courses for $30 menu offered to overnight guests. This was a better value than the regular menu, although the desserts are shot-glass size and simple. The appetizers and entrees had nice presentations and a higher degree of sophistication. Everything tasted great and was nicely prepared. The restaurant decor isn’t as refined as the food. Our sever was extremely accommodating and helpful.
Food and service were good. A little noisy due to a school group staying at the hotel.
Wonderful food and service from Dawn, our hostess and server. Perfectly cooked fish as steak, quiet and intimate. Loved it!
Great restaurant for breakfast! Our waitress Beth Marie was very nice and kept my coffee topped up.
The waitress was amazing! Friendly and welcoming. Food was great for value (quality and quantity). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner.
We have been to the Pottery before, there is always friendly service and good food at reasonable prices. We visited this time for Sunday breakfast/brunch, and you usually have a choice between a la carte or buffet, however there did not appear to be any buffet despite being listed on the menu ($18 - a very good deal). Perhaps it was because we came at 10am, although there was no area visible where it even could have been. Despite having looked forward to the brunch buffet, this was NOT a deal breaker, I ordered the Traditional Farmer's Breakfast instead and was not disappointed. Everyone in my party found that their meals tasted great.
The only negative experience on this visit had more to do with the Blue Mountain Resort than the restaurant itself. This weekend there was a dance competition taking place, as happens every Victoria Day weekend. Unfortunately one of the spaces the resort chose to book them into was a space directly above the Pottery Restaurant. The constant banging of feet jumping and landing on the floor definitely detracted from our overall enjoyment of our meal. Again, not the fault of the restaurant itself, but it made it seem as if Blue Mountain Resort placed a larger priority on the dance competition booking than the enjoyment of their other paying guests.
We came for the Mother’s Day buffet. The service was great and friendly. Sadly, though, the food lacked quality and quantity. There wasn’t very much selection and even though my 4 year old daughter was free - there was nothing that interested her to eat. So we had to take her somewhere afterwards. The food was lack lustre at best. The dessert was even worse. I expected much better based on the reviews.
We went to The Pottery for a birthday and a mother's day celebration. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend this spot for locals and tourists alike.
Alexx and the team were phenomenal
We ate at this restaurant as part of a Blue Mountain spa package, but overall it was very disappointing. I ordered the prime rib with Yorkshire pudding but the Yorkshire was extremely dry and the prime rib wasn’t very flavorful. Our server was excellent and accommodating, friendly and attentive. It was quiet because we went in the off-season
We were a party of 8 women. I liked that we had a private section away from the smaller tables. The staff were accommodation and pleasant, very helpful with information and advice on portions, timing etc.
Everyone in the group had good things to say about the dishes that were ordered. Some of which were, the ceasar's salad, steak, mushroom wellington, trout, bacon wrapped scallops to name a few.
Disappointed in the food (main, sides and dessert) and it was expensive at that.
We attended the Easter Brunch and it was absolutely amazing! Presentation was gorgeous and food was exceptional. On top of everything else, they had a chocolate fountain with fresh cut fruit and goodies!! :) I would highly recommend this restaurant for their Easter or Mother’s Day Brunch.
One of the best restaurants for value we've found in Southern Georgian Bay. Kids'menu excellent. Lots of child-friendly choice: Good fish & chips and burger.Overall, food gets an "A". Only disappointment was the steak - chewy and not what I would have expected for restaurant quality. French Onion Soup terrific as was the Mulli....soup of the day. Osso Bucco, while expensive, was one of the best I've ever had. Vegetables. Nice & al dente, not over cooked. Portions generous.
Only complaint is bench seats were too deep to be comfortable. Suggest they add cushions to fill in the space for many patrons comfort. Tables nicely spaced for privacy & the feeling of spaciousness.
Server, Joy, lovely. Service very efficient.
Parking not paved and muddy. Sort of a downer.
All 'n all, highly recommend. Best value & quality in the Blue Mountain area.
Dinner was great meal was excellent, great value in the village our server carol was extremely attentive and really cared if we were happy with our meal.
Dated room and not a great atmosphere .
Very nice people. Great service. Eager to accommodate some dietary needs. Really good food.
Restaurant was a little quiet when we arrived but got more lively as the evening wore on. Layout is in three sections so there is loads of space between tables so excellent for a quiet or intimate dinner. Food was excellent; everything we ordered was well presented and extremely tasty. Portion sizes generous. Menu is the right length which, when you include a couple of specials for the day makes for easy selection. Servers were friendly and on the ball too.
We wete treated exceptionally well. Our server was great our group grew quickly amd she easily accommodated us. This will be an annual event.
I love the modern upgrade that they have done to the facility and the food was absolutely amazing - creative and great!
We enjoyed ourselves. The staff was friendly and accommodating. It was a good dinner out with friends!
Food was pretty good. He biggest issue was the wait.
We were with kids and waiting for 30+ minutes for every course was just painful.
I've been several times and have always had amazing service and great meals.
The atmosphere of this restaurant was absolutely lovely and in a central location. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We came here for a bachelorette party dinner and they went above and beyond to make this day special for my friend. Everyone was pleased with their meals and the service. Would definitely come back and recommend!
My wife and I visited the Pottery for her 40th birthday, while we were staying at Blue Mountain Resort. We had an earlier dinner (6:30), and the restaurant was clean, cozy and quiet. They accommodated our seating requests for a window seat so we could watch the mountain without complaint. Food was hot, fast, and delicious. They gave my wife their signature desert free of charge, a philo wrapped cheesecake which was the highlight of the meal, a wonderful dessert that I would gladly pay full price for again. We will certainly return to this restaurant whenever we are in the blue mountain area again.
What a great find! We finally had a chance to check out The Pottery and we're amazed at how cozy it was. I great break from the typical "comfort food" restaurants, it had a charming ambiance that we'll not soon forget. There was a slight blip with our reservation ( a prior group came in much larger than planned) but the staff rolled with it and found us an excellent seat right beside the fireplace. Hope it happens again!
The service we experienced for our anniversary dinner was definitely amazing. Our server Dawn made us feel special and even served us the most delicious dessert we've ever had.
A definite dinner destination when visiting Blue Mountain!!!
Overpriced for the food quality... and I use the term “quality” lightly. Service was slow, reservation was 30 minutes behind. All in all, it sucked!
Service was a bit slow and my main course was slightly over seasoned. However, the atmosphere was great and the setting looked amazing.
We had a wonderful breakfast at The Pottery on our trip to Blue Mountain. Excellent service. Well the buffet looked awesome we opted for eggs Bennie. They were delicious. We would of most definitely return again.
We would not go back to this location. It is ok to be slow with service if the food is exceptional, but not here.
Enjoyed everything except the coffee. Too strong for either my husband or I to drink.
Made reservations for Christmas Eve Dinner, with no difficulty whatsoever. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was prompt and helpful.
I would definitely eat there again one day, but for me it's a ways away, so perhaps in the not too distant future.
